-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-

After leaving Vera, Kenshin returned to the cave they were staying in as soon as possible. He had a sumptuous meal from the leftover snow boar and then gone off to sleep. Exactly two hours later he woke up, as previously set by his phone. Before entering the snow region of the north, Kenshin had kept away his phone in the inventory. Besides living things, his inventory could store almost everything.

According to his plan, after taking a brief rest, he would first and foremost unseal his full potential and test his limit, only after then could he determine his fighting strength. As such he immediately went out of the cave to see if anyone around who could be attracted here during his brief power outburst. After a brief inspection, he returned to the cave.

Taking a deep breath, “Okay! Here goes nothing!” with that he entirely undid the seal restricting his physical stats. At first, nothing happened, but Kenshin knew it’s the calm before the storm. Like he thought, after a few seconds, suddenly an invisible aura gushed out of his body and began rolling in waves inside the cave. Slowly the intensity of the invisible waves increased and picked up the snow in the cave forming a great hurricane around him. At times the storm would change its speed or move counter-clockwise, or the other time like heat waves, some invisible aura would leak around him, twisting and turning the space like a mirage. This condition remained for sometime before it showed the sign of settling down. First, the storm disappeared slowly, then the invisible aura surrounding him, which got absorbed into him, then finally it settled down.

All the above process took only ten seconds. After ten seconds more, Kenshin opened his eyes. He didn’t move rashly, having already learned his lesson during his contract forming. Closing his eyes, he called for his system to show his detailed stats.

These stats made Kenshin speechless for some time. No matter how you see it, it wasn’t a stat belong to a level 72 hunter. If it was someone beyond level 100, that was understandable, but for someone below 100!? Nobody would believe it. Unfortunately, it was the truth, this heaven shaking stat was possessed by Kenshin.

With equipment bonus, two of his attributes were about to touch 1000 while one had already surpassed it. Kenshin then realized that the most significant contributing factor to this absurd start was the contract effect and his class bonus, which seems to have upgraded after his second class advancement.

After carefully checking his stats he realized that his stats increased in two ways, one was below 50 upgrades other was above 50 upgrades. Until level 50, his level up followed the same rule as before, 4 APs after a level up while 2 AP to INT, DEF and ATK as a class bonus. But after 50, he received an upgrade to his class, this upgrade provided some additional benefits.

First, his fixed 2 points of AP to INT, DEF and STR increased to 5 points each level up. Then as an additional benefit, after every level up, his every stat would increase by 5%. But this time, since he level upped 22 times at once, that 5% bonus added only to the last level up. Another thing he realized was that, after level 50, each level up awards him with 8 APs and 1 SP as level up bonus. It was double of what he usually received when below level 50.

After looking to this stat, a strange sense of confidence arose in his heart again. With this much stat, he could probably fight evenly with someone of Vera’s level with pure brute force without using a skill. It was an accomplishment in itself as he was more than 40 levels below her. To surmount 40 level gaps and fight an opponent evenly, it was something probably never happened before. And if he uses Create Dungeon skill and forces an enemy to fight inside it, then he could enjoy another 500% bonus due to the Guardian title bonus. At that time, he could probably contend against beyond 150 level opponents. If he played his cards right, then even coming to draw against a level 200 opponent with pure brute force wasn’t impossible. But if usage of skill was involved, he wasn’t sure of the outcome.

What did this mean? It means he could already be count as a [world class] powerhouse in brute force alone.

After looking at his stats, he closed it immediately and started to think about his upcoming move. He had to forcefully calm down his excited heart to not make any rash decisions. Now he understood why he lost control of his body when he was back in that dungeon and also here. His stats were simply too much more than his WIL, creating a sense of imbalance. his will should at least be 20% less than his maximum stat’s amount, then only an equilibrium could be formed. If not, the same thing will happen again and again.

Currently, his WIL wasn’t even 50% of his ATK, which is the current maximum among all his stats. As such he decided to invest all his AP to his WIL and WIS respectively in an 80-20 ratio. Of course, it won't be enough, but it could at least buy him enough time to increase his WIL steadily.

“Okay! Let's start” opening his eyes, he steadily took baby steps towards fully mastering his unsealed powers. It was essential for what's coming next. Although it would be impossible for him to master this much power in just six days, he could at least learn enough to walk and run normally. With unknown dangers looming ahead, he should make as many preparations as possible for survival, after all, he had a compulsory mission to complete.

Crack* BOOM!!

And like that only after a single step, Kenshin crashed into a huge pile of snow just outside the mouth of the cave he was in. He still had a long way to go before getting used to it.
