-Lyda wrecked(1)-
The orange coloured arrow wasn’t like any other arrow. Not only it had a brighter colour, but also its aura was also much more different than the past two arrows she used. While the past two emitted destructive as well as threatening aura, this arrow was emitting a kind and welcoming aura, like that of a mother’s embrace.
“Arrow of Purification?” the snake exclaimed when it saw the arrow being knocked in the arrow. Its voice contained a hint of fear as well astonishment when it spoke.
“You know about it? It seems you aren't just some random snake after all.” Mrs Adams teased with a straight face. Hearing her mocking words, the snake couldn’t help but shriek a few times. Although angered, it wasn’t rash in its attacks and exercised caution while dealing with her. This orange arrow seems to have knocked all the arrogance off its head.
Mrs Adams seemed to have entered into a trance, her eyes started to glow orange colour. Then her hair slowly floated as if swishing from the air. After that, she calmly released the bowstring as if releasing a dove from her hands.
The orange arrow streaked through space, while making an orange line behind it and headed for the mass of evil gasses spewed by the snake. But the moment the orange arrow approached the gasses, something shocking happened. The arrow stopped and started to grind against the outer layer of gases as if it was solid. The gases also struggled, trying to keep the arrow from entering. After a few seconds of struggle, the arrow finally won, a crack appeared on the gas cloud as if it was made of glass. Soon the cracks spread all over, and the gas cloud started to break apart.
A few seconds later the dark green gasses completely broke into tiny shards of glass and diffused into thin air. The poisonous gasses were all purified, just like that.

At this moment, if Core saw this, he would have instantly recognized this phenomenon. It wasn’t a class of physical matters, these two objects, the gas as well as the arrow, never interacted with each other on a physical level. They fought for dominance on a conceptual level. It was a war of ideas. In the end, the idea, the concept behind the orange arrow won, hence the poisonous gas phased out of existence.
Such the power of those who had surpassed level 150, the gateway to DemiGods.
“Looks like my purification was stronger than your contamination. Hmph! You damn snake, don’t underestimate us, humans, there was a reason why we were still at the top of the food chain, despite there were beings stronger than us.” Mrs Adams said arrogantly while knocking another arrow into the bow. This time it was the blue arrow from before, but it was glowing a little brighter than the last few ones, and its tip was rotating at a very high speed like a driller.
The snake had already started to take Mrs Adams seriously the moment it saw the orange arrow, as such he wouldn’t be foolish enough to give Mrs Adams enough time to attack. It immediately slithered towards her while making a zigzag pattern. Its speed was so fast that, a normal person would only able to see the zigzag lines in the snow and nothing else. As it came closer to her, its third head opened its mouth as a vile green coloured liquid sprayed towards her.
Seeing this, Mrs Adams had to cancel her arrow formation and jumped back to evade the green liquid. The snake but followed after her while spraying vile green liquids after her, not giving her time to use her bow again.
Even though Mrs Adams was jumping back to evade, her face was as calm as water as if the situation was still under her control. She was also not jumping back in a straight line, she was moving randomly, confusing the snake even more. This was to make it confuse and avoid the barrier she had formed, or else she would trap in her own net. Had she travelled in a straight line, after only five jumps, she would hit the barrier, allowing the snake to launch an attack on him. If something like that happened, she would become the laughing stock amongst her peers.

She definitely didn’t want that. As she sidestepped and avoided the snake’s pursuing, she also tried to attack, but the snake didn’t give her enough time to conjure up and arrow. But she wasn’t frustrated. The bow needed some amount of her power as well as its own power to form an arrow. But the loading time depends on the complexity of the arrow itself, the orange arrow from earlier had taken five seconds to form completely. Similarly the bright blue rotating arrow that she was creating earlier should also have taken five seconds to develop had the snake didn’t disturb her.
It was because the orange, as well as the blue arrow, contains a concept embedded into them, as such it takes some time to form that concept. But those normal arrows, they could form in an instant. The problem was it won't work on this snake, at most, it would only cause it a light tickle.
The next time Mrs Adams pulled the string, three light blue arrows instantly formed. Aiming it towards a pair out of its five pairs of eyes, she let loose them while aiming towards an open spot. Even while she was jumping around and running at her top speed, her aim didn’t even deviate by an mm. Normally to people, everyone would think that she had missed as the arrow was travelling way out of the snake’s path. But as if the snake threw itself into the arrows path, it suddenly appeared on the path of the trajectory of the arrow.
Since it was too close to it, the snake didn’t have time to evade such an arrow that was aiming for its eyes, as such all it could do was to brace itself and take in the shot.
*squelch
With a squelching noise, the two arrows entered fully inside both eyes of its third head, the one responsible for spitting out green liquids from its mouth.
*qua!
Making a bone piercing noise, the snake shrieked at the top of its lungs as the pain was too unbearable for it. Even though its body was impervious to al blunt attacks as well as a few piercing damages, its eyes were its weak points. So weak that even a normal arrow had managed to damage it and make it blind.
Mrs Adams didn’t stop there, she instantly conjured that rotating blue arrow again. This time the snake was too busy to top her as such she was successful in making it.
By now the pain had already made the snake frenzy, it had lost all its reasoning and started to roll around frenzied while shrieking furiously. Then suddenly all its mouth opened as it spat out a huge amount of green gases, enough to cover a small city. The gases this time was two times more poisonous than what it had used on her last time, a mere touch of it was enough to vapourize even the extremely cold water below the ice.
Seeing this Mrs Adams couldn’t help but frown, then with just a thought, she started conjuring Arrow of Purification, along with the previously formed rotating blue arrow and aimed it towards the rolling around snake’s torso region, the spot just below its heads.
It was time for the snake to die.

The Genre of My Life Was Randomized?
The wheel spun and the genre changed. In every chapter, a new canvas made up of a thousand words was formed. I, the creator, do not know the future of this novel. I, the author, is but a mere slave that writes and creates what the wheel has given. What would happen after? What fate awaits the main character? When would you encounter the next chapter? Besides the latter, only the wheel could answer. Author's Note:Salutations dear reader. I'd like to dissuade you from reading this novel due to the following facts: 1. I am an amateur/new/beginner writer so it could be said that I don't know what I'm doing. 2. This novel is something which I wrote in order to hone my skills in adaptability, creativity, and writing in of itself. 3. Every chapter was made after spinning a wheel with the genres: Action, Horror, Romance, Comedy, Fantasy (as of writing) twice. The genres then would be showed in the chapter through theme, part of the story, flow, character, or whatever man idk. In case the wheel would show the same genre twice, the chapter itself would have the result as the main theme of the story with the other genres being free to use in order to fully show the theme. 4. I'm basically yoloing the story, trying to make sense of it even with the randomness of the current and future chapters; I swear I'm not a masochi.. *ahem* moving on, a variable left by the previous chapter won't suddenly just disappear because the next chapter doesn't have the same genre as before, meaning if a character that fits a genre was shown on let's say "Chapter 1", said character wouldn't just disappear or cease to exist for no reason at "Chapter 2" or the following chapters just because the character doesn't fit the genres. To make it short this isn't a collection of short stories but one big story instead. 5. Etc.
