Kenshin had decided to gamble, at worst he would die. With his remaining life, it wasn’t a big deal. If he by any chance succeeded the mission assigned to him by the system, the rewards would be more than enough to make up for his loss.

Forget about all those golds coins he would be getting, he would not only be getting 2 lives as rewards, but he would also get a divine skill.

What’s a divine skill? It was a skill whose workings were outside the understanding of mortals. They are mystical and totally ethereal. The holder of these skills could even be partially called a Divine Being.

Skills like Burrow, Shake, Destruction Manipulation could be explained by scientific laws, but that wouldn’t be a case with these Divine Skills. Publically, only Yamazaki Aoi was the holder of such skill, and she was acclaimed as the only one in the world. Her status was not lower to any president or the ruler of a big continent. At times, she was even called as the hope for humanity.

And he would be getting one of such skill, how couldn’t he be giddy? Why wouldn’t he give his all for such rewards?

He had already destroyed three pentagrams, although there were still four to go, with his variety of skills, he might succeed without taking any risks. What the problem in trying? It was only because of his one extra life that Kenshin dares to make this kind of gambles.

‘I will try!’ with that in mind, he used burrow and got inside the ground.

A few meters away, the group of two women and the cloaked individual weren't aware of Kenshin’s presence. They were giving their all for the sake of their mission, which was to kill or capture this cloaked individual. As for the cloaked person, he/she was fighting with everything to protect what he/she must defend.

Martial arts move and bright lights flash could be seen all over the place as the three people were a blur to the naked eye of a normal hunter. The fight was happening on 2 on 1 basis where the two women were ganging up on the single cloaked person. But still, he/she was able to easily fight against them.

Although at times he/she suffers a blow or two, it was the extent of his/her wounds.

“Sister, it seems this person is really a tough bastard. We are fighting two against one but still, not only we are not winning, we are even unable to give him a proper blow.” One of the two fighting ladies, who was holding the sabre complained as she backed away from an uppercut.

“Hmph! no matter how powerful is this person, sooner or later he would fall to our teamwork.” The other woman, who was dressed like a typical witch said in conviction, thereafter she proceeded to shake her wand as a red coloured cylinder manifested and slammed into the abdomen of the cloaked person. To that, the cloaked person crossed his/her arms and blocked it, but was unprepared for the second woman’s kick to his face. The heels of the second woman landed on his right cheek, sending him back a few meters.

Before he/she could even regain his/her composure, the first woman shook her wand again manifesting a bigger red coloured fist and gave a devastating punch to the cloaked person’s unguarded abdomen. From the blow, the cloaked person’s body bends to front in a weird shape like ‘>’ this. After that, the second lady also coated her hands in the same red colour light and gave a punch to his/her face. The cloaked person flew like a rocket and slide on the ground for a few meters before coming to a halt.

But as if not hurt by it, the cloaked person stood up instantly and ran towards the witch dressed woman with his/her hands glowing purple. The cloaked person, after this intense fight, realised something. The one who was more dangerous among these two ladies was the witch clothed woman. Her powers, despite looking like some weak manifestation, had something extra in it. If the first woman’s punch was like being slammed by heavy rock, her punches were like being pressed on by something heavy while being slammed by a heavy rock.

The sabre woman’s attacks could be blocked or avoided, but this witch woman’s attacks were troublesome, not only it couldn’t be clocked, but the damage she dealt was also nothing to scoff at.

That’s why this cloaked person decided to get rid of that witch woman first. Only after that he/she could overpower the other one. He/also realized that this witch woman’s weak point must be close-combat, as such he/decided to get close to her and attack her. Although his/her plan was flawless, how could these two sisters who were fighting for years know their own shortcomings? As such how couldn’t they have not done something to overcome that shortcoming?

“Sister, be ready!” seeing that the cloaked person was running towards her, the witch woman suddenly warned to her sister. Then she started to glow a golden colour. Then suddenly there was a bright flash, and when the light vanished, in place of witch woman, the sabre woman stood with her sabre drawn.

Seeing this the cloaked person was so astonished that he nearly lost his balance. But it was already too late to do anything. The sabre woman’s sabre started to glow red as a tremendous killing intent filled the air. At the same time, the witch woman conjured a black ball that looked like it could absorb even the light itself and threw it towards the sabre woman’s position.

It was a certain death situation for the cloaked person. But then suddenly the cloaked person’s body started to glow bright purple as power rolled in waves from his/her body. Two big purple hands materialized beside him/her, one acted as a guard against the incoming sabre while the other grabbed the black ball and threw it towards the witch woman.

Seeing that the black ball was coming her way, the lady hastily cancelled her technique. As for the sabre lady, she felt like a massive force was grabbing her sword, making her unable to move it an inch. From a sure death situation, he turned into a statement but at that something, strange happened.

Suddenly the ground shook violently as if a giant was violently stomping on the ground. Then slowly the vibration increased so much that cracks began to materialize all over the ground. After a few seconds, the cracks became huge fissures, tumbling the ground in its wake.

“What happened suddenly?” the sabre woman couldn’t help but complain.

“Earthquake? is it an earthquake?” the witch lady screamed in frustration and a little fear. As time went on, the destruction became, even more, scarier as the ground literally tore open due to the violent earthquake. The massive earthquake broke the surrounding icebergs into tiny pieces, and landslides began to form around them due to excessive snowfall.

Twenty meters below the ground level, Kenshin couldn’t help but look at the devastation he had caused with wide eyes. Although he had expected largescale destruction, it wasn’t to the point of this much! Thankfully it was in the north, or else the collateral damage he would have caused in a populated city would be unimaginable, let alone lives would have lost.

In the back of his mind, Kenshin decided to make this combination skill a forbidden skill.
