-Vol 5: A New Life-
-Massacre(3)-
Kenshin didn’t return to the girl after killing the group of five, he knew she wouldn’t be coming back to her senses until the next morning. The strain on her body was just that large. He proceeded with his mission, the principal’s room. A large amount of presence was polled around that area. Generally, in a school, the principal’s office should be on the first floor, but this school’s principal’s office was located at a corner of the building on the topmost floor. When Kenshin was a few meters away from the third floor, which was also the topmost floor of this building, his map detected an unusual presence.
Well, not unusual, but rather a familiar presence. Earlier that day when he bumped into that weird young man and subsequently got attacked, he thought it was just some violent coincidence and thus marked him with a map marker with the sign of danger. Unexpectedly that young man was here. Now Kenshin wasn’t naïve enough to wonder for an hour about why he was here, the answer was glaringly obvious. He must be an accomplice of the people doing business here. A glint appeared on his eye as he observed that particular marker which seemed to stationary from the moment it appeared.
Although it startled him. It was not enough to make him reconsider things. Today he was in a warpath against these criminals. Just by remembering what they did to that girl was enough to make him kill them without mercy. At the same time, Kenshin was also mentally preparing for what he was going to see when he enters the principal’s room. He was preparing for the worst, after all, he knew he wasn’t that mentally strong to just shrug off things like that.
Standing in front of the office door, Kenshin slapped his masked cheeks and prepped himself up. “Okay, Here goes nothing!” just as he was about to kick the doors open, his extraordinary sensory perception made him hear some discussions going on inside.

“Mr. Yano, these four are today’s girls. From the look of your face, it seems you really liked them!” it was a young voice, probably belonged to the young man Kenshin meet earlier.
“haha! Like it! Very much like it. Look these tender skins, I can’t wait to take a bite at them!” this voice belonged to a much older man. Kenshin could now discern the age of a person from the sound alone so he could tell that this voice belonged to a middle-aged man.
“Thank you, chairman, for this generous gift! I will make sure your work doesn’t hit any walls from now on!” this voice also belonged to a middle-aged man. But this one seemed to be more subservient to other voices he had heard until now, its as if this voice belonged to a subordinate of the first one.
Unable to take it anymore, with a strong kick, he broke the door and strolled in like it's his backyard.
“What in the?” a loud roar was heard as the people inside startled of the sudden noise. Kenshin saw a group of people, probably all hunters, were standing around a group of three middle-aged men and a young man. As he entered the place, all of them were looking at him in wonder, probably wondering which idiot barged in. Looking around, he spotted everyone according to his map’s markers. At that exact time, his eye landed on the people, more specifically children the three old men were holding.
All of them were wearing provocative clothes that probably no children of their age should wear. Their eyes were glazed over as if they were not actually aware of their surroundings. The old men were molesting them to their heart's content, at the same time talking with the young man sitting on the sofa. There were four girls. Kenshin couldn’t bear to look at them, the way they dressed, the way their eyes glazed over, it was all too much for him to see. As if a sleeping beast that woke up, Kenshin’s eyes turned red as if he was a beast that just given a lease from its cage.

Before half a second could pass, he already got rid of the four hunters surrounding his target. Before he could relax, his danger senses tingled, stamping his legs down, he jumped back a few meters. At the same time, four needles glowing in purple color came out of nowhere and embedded on the ground where Kenshin previously stood. The wooden floor instantly rotted away, making a large hole on the spot.
Kenshin knew who was responsible for it. Turning his head, he found the young man calmly retracting his hands. His fingers were glowing the same shade of purple as the needles just now. The young man then looked at Kenshin and spoke in a calm tone, “Who are you?”
But Kenshin opted to not answer verbally, lifting his right hand, a considerable amount of violet light gathered before turning into the shape of a few thin arrows. With a flick of his wrist, he sent those arrows flying at the direction of the young man, but one. The rest three changed direction mid-flight and went for the cowering middle-aged men on the corner. When Kenshin was attacked, they took the chance and fled to one of the edges of the room and hid behind the principal’s desk.
These arrows weren't meant for killing them, it was just to make them unable to flee. Kenshin knew that it will take some time to deal with this young man. With how he was limited to his skills, it was close to impossible to instakill him. Well, unless he spams his Divine skill on him. But he knew it won't be a good idea. Lily knew he would be going incognito so if he uses his divine skill, he will get exposed instantly. That won't do; at least for now. He was too weak to handle someone of the level he encountered in the North. Kenshin decided to not expose his true identity until he reached level 100 and had his first evolution.
The arrows streaked across the empty room and found themselves on their designated target. The young man dodged them easily, but the four middle-aged men couldn't. The arrows embedded themselves on their shoulders and started to corrode their flesh. Its one of the property of destruction, he could destroy anything, even the minute muscle fibers. Of course, it required precise control.
Fortunately, Kenshin had a system to assist him with this process.

If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the books. This is the first book I ever started out of my four current ongoing stories. This story has been edited through nearly a dozen times since the majority of the reviews, so take that in mind if you read through the reviews. This is a LitRPG and cultivation-based novel where the two are interlinked and the characters have to reach a certain degree of cultivation and a certain level in order to break through into the next tier. I tend to make a lot of maps for this book. I hope that you all enjoy my novel, and feel free to comment on any issues or errors you may notice. My Discord Server Top Web Novel Link
