-Renewing The Contract(6)-
*Roar!!!*
The 10-meter long lizard that was undeserving of the name Dragon opened its wide jaw and spat out a tornado of green rotting flames with a foul smell. The smell was so bad that it would even defeat Joy’s farts that he liked to release from time to time, and his farts could instantly cause a garden of flowers to wither.
Kenshin would have liked to jump up, but the roof would come in the way so he could only sidestep to avoid the flames. But, he didn’t need to, this Boss was so weak that it wasn’t even funny, he could spam any of his skills, and it would fall immediately. And that’s what he did, enveloping the huge thing in his [Exploding Domain], first canceled out the rotting flames by exploding them into oblivion. Then he exploded every single flesh fragment that was dangling on the monster’s body.
One explosion might not do anything substantial. But when millions of tiny ones going on every second, even if it’s an undead Boss Monster with unholy vitality, it would still fall. And that what happened. The monster fell down after few explosions with its HP dangerously close to 0… but that where it became weird.
The HP didn’t go any below than 1. No matter how many explosions he tried, the HP didn’t fall.
“The hell!!” Kenshin exclaimed in surprise. This was his first time ever seeing something like this. If it were a game, he would have shouted ‘Bug’ and reported it to the GM… but it’s the real world. How can something like this happen to the real world?
In front of his very eyes, the lizard painfully stood up and roar towards the skies. The dangling flesh or what left of it after Kenshin’s mad explosion started to fall off, showing complete skeleton beneath. Then the white bones started to rapidly change colors until it was blood red and emitting a red fog.
The worst thing was all its stats were doubled while its HP filled back to brim.
“It got stronger? What the hell?” cursing up a storm, Kenshin once again enveloped it in the dome of Exploding Domain and blasted its ass off all the way to the underworld. Like before, its HP started to fall rapidly. But, when it was just 25% of its Max HP, it once again roared to the skies before slamming its left talon on the ground. As it did so, the ground beneath it cracked as a huge pillar of green flames emerged from it, forming a dragon shape in midair. That dragon then automatically detected Kenshin and headed for him with its jaws hung wide.

Since it was already inside the domain of his skill, Kenshin exploded it oblivion with just a thought. But the green dragon reformed once again, moreover, the creature had summoned another such green dragon to send it after Kenshin.
But even that was enough to not give him a workout as he exploded it to gases once again. The most important thing to remember here was this, to sustain that domain, his MP consumption was 5 MP/sec, and his regain rate was many times a second. Basically, it didn't cost him anything to use that skill, at least if he didn’t use higher-order to cause more complex matters to explod3e. If so, then depending on the complexity and his knowledge over it, the MP cost will increase.
But exploding these fire dragons were like a child’s play to him. Even so, it was getting annoying to him just standing here and making these dragons explode, so he targeted the lizard… the HP once again went down.
And like before, as soon as its HP hit 1, it didn’t go down no matter how much he made it so. It stuck there.
“Grr! It will transform once again?” Kenshin was now unsure of whether it’s a dragon or cockroach. No matter how much he kills it, it's resurrecting the moment its HP falls to 1. The only saving grace was that it’s not that powerful, but the way its stats doubling after every revival, it might not be long before its stat could match his. If that happens, disaster will befall upon him no matter how many lives he had.
The red skeletons turned from deep red to pitch black as golden tribal marks appeared all over it. Its stats didn’t double this time, rather all increased and stopped at 1500 with HP stopping at 1 billion. There was no MP bar, but in its place, a gaze called corruption bar. Two small greenish fireballs now cascaded its previously hollow eye socket.
*Roar*
It roared to the heavens once again, as a faint shockwave could be seen appearing from its mouth. Now that this happened, he could no longer behave leisurely. This creature’s physical attack had reached astonishing 5000, while magic damage reached 8000. Even if it was him, he couldn’t play around.

Besides, he didn’t have an all-round armor like the Blood Armor set anymore. The one he was wearing only give physical defense not the magical defense. This Boss had not only magical damage that exceeding its physical damage, but it could also transform again and again.
“I should have known, how could a quest that gives out an extra life could be easy? I was naive to think like that.” Shaking his head and smiling bitterly, Kenshin, who thought it’s an easy mission started to unsheathe his sword and take the fight more seriously.
Since the monster was weak to fire, the options were Exploding Domain, Fire Manipulation, and Plasma Blast. Besides clearing out two dungeons, his ATK had already enhanced to 600% of his base due to his title effect. He was more than confident enough to take this monster on solo… unless it transforms once again and increases its stats by two times once more.
“I hope it didn’t transform anymore… it has already done it three times.” Muttering this, Kenshin sent a wave of concentrated zagging flaming slash towards the monster that yet to complete its transformation and appearance. If it were a game, then the situation would be like Kenshin attacking the monster while the cutscene was still going on.
With his physical attack enhanced 6 times, and swirling the flame attribute around the sword, he used the skill that came with the sword itself, the stabbing.
With this all, his total attack power exceeded 50k at once.
After its HP dropped by 50k, Kenshin continued to slash with his sword relentlessly while roasting it with his otherworldly flames and explosions. With every swing of his sword and every explosion, 12k of its HP would be chipped away. Basically, he didn’t give the monster any time to retaliate. He was flashing all over the place with his higher than normal agility, which was further enhanced by the skill [Five-Point Movements].
Although the monster had a few new skills. None of them could be used by him as they were all racial skills, and his Shapeshift was too way leveled to make use of those skills. Each second was important; as such, Kenshin downed an MP potion midway to refill his HP bar to the brim once again.
Just as the lizard's HP reached 35% of its total, it suddenly started to roar loudly while glowing brightly. Kenshin who had two prior experience of such a situation, though the monster was transforming once again and doubled his effort to decrease its HP as much as possible.
“Damn! Just how many times it would transform? At this rate, it would surpass f*eeza.” Shouting in anger, Kenshin used air step and backed away so that he wouldn’t get caught up in some of its wild fires.
As if to mock him, the huge size started to shrink in front of his very eyes until it became a 2-meter tall bipedal lizard with human-like hands holding a bone spear. Its previously green eyes retained the same color. Only there was a red tint on the middle, acting as the pupil. Green flame cascaded its boney head, giving the impression of a wild flowing hair.
“ROOOAAAARRR!!!” it looked at Kenshin with its eyes moving so human-like that it sent a chill down his spine.
“Looks like the real battle starts now… gulp!!” gulping loudly, he took a defensive stance, something he hadn’t done for a long time.
