To Ken the sky looked so beautiful yet very ominous, he wasn't sure what was happening. Arthur looked at Ken with eyes of caution preparing himself for a disaster.

What looked like the end of the world turned out to be the awakening that Ken had desired. "Master what's happening" said Ken in a panicked manner. Arthur stayed dead silent, he did not utter a word and watched as Ken gained an almighty power.

Ken was confused as a demon and an angel descended from the sky, the demon was completely black with dark red bloody eyes while the angel was completely white with golden eyes. The demon uttered a language not understandable by normal humans, Ken was shivering as the demons voice got louder. The angel then spoke to calm him down, "Don't worry my child, this demon can't harm you as you are the heir to his powers, and mine too.

"What does heir mean? I haven't done anything to deserve this power"

"I'm not sure about the details but I remember when I first gave my powers to your mother. It's a shame she married that demon."

Ken looked horrified, " You know my mother!? Where is she and what do you mean by marrying a devil."

The angel did not reply instead she put her palm on top of Ken's forehead and chanted words in an unknown language, the devil pulled out a black and red book and opened it, he recited something in the ominous language and bestowed upon Ken a dark ring. He placed the ring in Ken's ring finger and disappeared without a trace.

By this time the angel had finished reciting. She looked at Ken and said, "I have given you all my power, my power extends up to many levels which is up to you to find out. Discover the full extent of my power. BUT remember this, the devil too has given you powers, my powers can only be used to rid a devil while his powers can kill humans."

"What does that mean?"

"You will find more people with powers like yours, the ones with the devil's eye can only be defeated using the angels eye while the devil's eye can kill humans and angels."

"K-kil humans?" Said Ken in a terrified voice

"I've seen people do it before, you are special child, you have the power of both devil and god but remember you will be consumed by the devil if you use too much of the black eye."

This was the last thing the angel told Ken, she disappeared similarly to how the devil had. He was confused as to why he would have to kill anyone and why does he get to be special.

Moments later Ken started floating in the air, he slowly lifted up towards the sky. Lightning fell from the sky and struck Ken, He screamt in pain as blood dripped from his eyes. A loud sound rung the entire area.

"A KING IS BORN!"

Arthur and Mia were not sure of what had happened because the ordeal which happened earlier was only seen by Ken, so the sound they heard was very confusing to them. Arthur laughed in horror. "The world isn't prepared for what's about to come". Mia looked at Arthur with a confused look, "WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? WHATS HAPPENING TO KEN??"

Arthur was at a loss of words, what had just happened would change the course of history entirely, a new king was born and his powers could lead to the destruction of the world. The only thing Arthur could hope was for Ken to not be greedy for the power of the devil.

Ken dropped to the floor with his eyes now looking like the colourless. Mia and Arthur rush to see an unconscious Ken whose eyes were gushing with blood. They took him in the house and tucked him into bed. Arthur told Mia to stay by Ken's side while he attends some business.

Mia held Ken's hand in sorrow, she felt scared that she might lose her only friend in the entire world. "Don't leave me" cried Mia. Ever since Mia's parents died she had been alone until Arthur found her, he adopted her and took care of her like she was her own child. He made Mia feel at home in a strange place. Ken is the first person Mia had ever met her age and she felt comfortable around him. Seeing him in a broken state made her want to cry but no tears came out.

He felt a a bright light shine on his face, rays of the sun hit his eye as he woke up. Ken looked around to see a sleeping Mia holding his hand. He suddenly felt a shock go through his body.

Ken unaware of what this meant didn't mess with it for a while but his curiosity forced him to. He remembered the words of the angel and did not use the devil power because he knew overusing it would allow the devil to consume him.

A surge of power rushed into Ken, his eyes were overflowing with holy power.

[Use Spears Of Reckoning (Stage 1)]

Ken went outside to test this skill out, he looked into the system of this power for a while and realised simply using simple actions allow for him to use certain powers. So far he only had the spears of reckoning, the action to activate that was raising your right hand up and pulling out one finger and keeping the left hand by the side. This summoned the spears while moving the right hand from up to down would cause them to move.

He realised most of his power would have stages similar to the spears. Each power had 3 stages and so did the power of the god and the devil. The first move he learnt from the white eye power was the spears of reckoning, the first stage gave him free control of using one spear at a speed as fast as a dog at it's full speed. He trained endlessly the entire day by summoning spears until he fainted. He was hell bent on revenge.
