《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 37 - Pink or Blue?

Bob traveled to the Drum Rockies thinking about all the possible combinations he could come up with once he ranked up. There were so many agile swordsman he could pick that would go well with his current skills. However, Bob also thought about picking up an ability power champions, one with high burst damage.
There was much thought Bob had to put into this. This was not something he could just get excited about and decide without much thought. He needed to analyze the skills of the champions and how they'd fit in this world.
Like if he picked Nasus, there was only one real skill Bob would use. Which was siphon, that stacked over time to increase its damage. However, Bob didn't know if the skill would work the same in this world. While withering could work, Bob didn't think it was worth it considering it would only work on one person.
So Bob threw a combination with Nasus out the window.
"I need to think about this later. For now, focus on fighting the white stage."
Bob said to himself as he shook his head trying to empty all his thoughts.
The Drum Rockies was different than the other places on Drum Island, this area was a bit colder. Bob started to be affected by the temperature even with his fur coat on.
"White Stag! Come out I know you're around here!"
Bob yelled out as he walked further and further.
The wind blew hard causing the snow that was on top of the mountains to fall. There was so much snow that Bob could barely see in front of him.
"What was that?"
Bob asked himself as he saw a white blur move past.
It wasn't snow, the blur was too large to be a tiny snowflake.

Bob saw it go to the right.
He was curious and headed in the same direction.
"Com'on Bob. There's nothing scary in the One Piece world, this is no scary movie. In those movies, someone would have died already."
Bob started talking to himself as he continued to walk in the direction he saw the blur go in.
It reminded him of all those scary movies he watched before. The main cast was always curious about a sound, or some story so they had to check it out. What happened? They always died!
Bob was currently in the same situation as those main cast members from a scary movie.
As Bob continued to move forward, he found himself in front of a large tree. Bob couldn't tell what kind of tree it was, but it was so beautiful. The most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
The tree was white, even the leaves on the tree was white.
Bob was drawn in closer to the tree and spotted some sort of fruit on the tree. It looked like an apple, but it was covered in snow.
As Bob reached to grab it, he felt the deadliest wind chill run down his spine.
Bob shivered and snactched the apple. He started to rub the snow off of it only to discover weird markings on the apple.
"A devil fruit! Here?"
Bob was confused as there was no mention of a devil fruit on Drum Island.
Bob looked at the blue apple, he wondered what sort of powers he'd get if he ate it.
"There's already a snow like devil fruit, and ice like devil fruit out there already. So this can't be one like that, maybe it's something different?"
Bob knew the owners of those two devil fruit, one was a marine the other was a secretary to Caesar.

"This makes two. Maybe my luck is just that good."
Bob said as he grinned.
He heard a step from behind him and turned around, he spotted the White Stag. It's fur was pure white without any dirt on it, and it had azure blue eyes.
The White Stag looked at Bob and Bob returned the look.
Bob didn't know how long the two of them looked at each other, but he was the first to make his move.
As he drew Black Death and used Grand Blessing all in the same motion. He approached the White Stag but found that it wasn't moving. It seemed as if it wouldn't put up a fight.
Black Death reached the White Stags neck, but stopped before it touched the skin.
Bob looked at the creature and withdrew his sword.
"What am I doing?"
Bob shook his head as he shooed the creature away.
"Go away before I change my mind."
The White Stag looked at Bob for a moment before he ran away. It's speed was so fast Bob could only see its blur.
"Guess i'm buying a building from someone else then."
Bob sighed.
He couldn't kill the beast, if it wasn't for that creature he would have never found this devil fruit.
Devil Fruits were rare, and no one knew what you'd get if you ate one. The only way someone would know is if they read the book that contained all the information about devil fruits and their abilities. Yet that book was even rarer than devil fruits themselves!
There was no way Bob would be able to look inside it. Even if he did, some of the abilities didn't have a picture to go with them. So he might be drawn to a certain ability, but he'd never be able to know what fruit it goes to.
Bob was content with the two fruits he did obtain.
Pink or Blue? Which one should he consume?
Bob started walking back to town as he debated over this problem.

Who she is has been lost to time for most, but her continued existence will throw everything further out of balance.
