《Quicksword Bob》Chapter 66 - One Sword Stroke Bob

"You're kidding! A newcomer like you aiming for my position? How dare you!?"
Moria was clearly upset by Bob's request.
"Do I look like i'm kidding to you? I've also come to collect your bounty as well."
"You think you can turn me in? I'm untouchable, the World Government ignores what I do. What makes you think they'll allow you to turn me in?"
Bob grinned.
"Because you'll be dead."
Bob was surprised by his own words.
'Damn Bob! When did you become such a badass character? Talking big words and we don't even know if we can kill him.'
Bob thought to himself.
Moria started laughing.
"You think you can defeat me?"
"Look around, it's just me and you here. There aren't any shadows for you to absorb, so I think the real question here is can you defeat me?"
Moria looked around and there were no shadows here. The only one was Bob's.
"How do you know about my powers?"
Moria asked.
Bob drew Black Death and dashed towards Moria.
"I'd rather not talk anymore."
Bob said.
"Kishishishishi… You think you're so strong but the New World is a much worse place than you think! Everything you hold dearly, you'd lose it all! Do you know why?"
As Moria was giving a speech black string like things were emerging from his feet. They dug into the ground disappearing out of sight.
"I don't really care."
Bob said as he appeared before Moria.
Even though he was in front of this large man, Bob didn't reach his heart or his neck.
Bob put power into his feet and jumped high into the air.
He was thinking about fighting him without using Mortal Reminder, but that would take too long and Moria would become overly large. He'd absorb shadows to power himself up.

While Bob figured it might be a good fight, he didn't feel like wasting time on this guy.
Without absorbing shadows, Moria isn't really strong himself. Bob assumed his bounty was only high due to his devil fruit.
"Mortal Reminder!"
Bob shouted as he swung Black Death in an arc. It's blade was covered in a bright light.
Moria looked at the glowing blade and all he could see was his death near. He tried to move but he couldn't.
It was like his body was being held down by some mystical force. He's never saw such an ability before.
Bob always made sure to save up energy for this unique skill. It was insanely overpowered, as long as he aimed at a person's vital spots and activated this skill, they would die. It was a sure kill skill that was impossible to block.
However, charging it up took a while.
Gecko Moria's head flew cleanly off of his body and landed on the ground.
Instead of blood squirting out a dark substance shot out from his body and broke through the ceiling.
Bob landed on the ground gracefully and sheathed Black Death.
He looked at Moria's corpse and shook his head.
"I'll just take your head, your body's too large."
Bob said to himself as he ignored Moria's body.
"Now. What should I do about the Strawhats?"
Bob asked himself as he recalled they would arrive here in the coming months. It was where Luffy fought Moria and returned everyone's shadows, but that was no longer needed. Bob already killed Moria and the shadows was that black substance that shot out from his body.
Therefore, Luffy's crew wouldn't receive their powerup. Zoro wouldn't get a chance to meet the zombie swordsman and receive his third sword.
Bob hit his head and sighed.

"You just had to go and do this Bob. You just had to do this."
Bob started to think of some ideas.
He grabbed Moria's lifeless head and walked out of the tower.
Hildon who was flying in the sky looked down at Bob.
"Why are you alive?"
He shouted.
Hildon then noticed the head Bob was carrying and almost fainted on the spot. His captain Moria was the strongest! How was he defeated?
"It shouldn't come as a surprise."
Bob said as he looked at Hildon.
"Hmm, there is still plenty of time left until I need to be at Water 7. I'll wait here to meet Kuma then leave and set out for another adventure. Except it'll be to train everyone else, not me."
Bob started talking to himself as he walked to the carriage. Once he was inside he peeked his head out of the curtain.
"Well, come on. It's not going to drive itself."
Bob said as he looked at Hildon.
When Hildon came back to the carriage Bob was already lost in thought. He was coming up with different islands he could visit to help his crew improve. As long as things went as he planned, they'd be able to have a large increase in power after two years.
His goal was to train with the revolutionary army with two years, as Luffy would train with Rayleigh. Granted, Bob figured he could do so as well, but he wanted to try something different.
It was best to train with someone who had experience and you wanted to surpass or be like. Luffy trained with the right hand of Gold D. Roger, while Zoro did so with Mihawk the greatest swordsman.
If Bob wanted to become the most famous person, he needed to surpass Dragon. The only way to do so was to learn from him and his officers.
Bob also started to think about his devil fruit ability. He didn't use it much, but he would still like to master it for when he did in the future.
Moria to Bob was one of the weakest warlords. He was just overly large and slow, his base power wasn't the best. All the other warlords were agile except Blackbeard. They had fast speed, deadly attacks, overall they were just better than Moria.
If Bob fought one of them, he didn't know how things would turn out.
Alright that wasn't exactly true, Bob knew their abilities but they didn't know his. He'd find some way to win eventually. The only warlords he was worried about was Mihawk, Kuma and Jinbe. Those three Bob didn't know if he could currently fight them on equal footing.
As for the others, Bob wasn't worried.
'One Sword Stroke Bob! That's much better than Quicksword Bob! Damn World Government and their naming sense!'
Bob starting to rant about his title once more as Hildon reluctantly drove Bob back to the mansion.

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.
