*Feast*
"Try this one next," A motherly looking woman says holding a bone out to Mirna.
Mirna happily takes the rib and rips into it with her teeth. "Good!"
She takes a bite from her other hand and repeats the statement again with more force.
All the mothers laugh happily while patting her head.
"What next?" She says tossing the cleaned bone over her shoulder into the fire perfectly.
The women look around between themselves before one of them comes up with an idea and runs towards a platter.
"How about this." She says placing the glass in Mirna's hands.
"Oh, this smells good too!" She downs the small cup in a single breath and then sighs contently with pink cheeks.
"Why are you giving her that?" A woman says glaring at the younger woman who giggles at the wobbling Mirna.

"So it really was the ocean spirit that lead my daughter back here."
"Mhm, when Captain calls for something, the Ocean Spirit is sure to respond. That time he firmly stated we would save the girls and remove their collars. And with his call, the spirit responded and made it so."
"Truly a Miracle of a person."
"Mhm mhm."
"I wonder what he will do next?"
"There's no telling?! Maybe he will be personally invited to meet with ocean spirit!"
"If it's him I wouldn't doubt it. A sea dragon with a single punch you said?"
"That's right."
~ ~
"El you must get down!"
"No, this is where I belong."
"You can't just claim anything that's higher than the mast."
"I'm an elf, we belong in the trees!"
"Elves don't live in palm trees!"
"Some… might? Shut up Rou, don't ruin this for me!"
"Are you gonna stay here then? We, and Captain, will leave eventually. You can't stay up there forever."

"Captain won't leave me, Captain loves me dearly. There would be no way he would leave without his beloved El."
"What?! Did he tell you that? When?!"
"Doesn't have to tell me, it's clear as night."
"Muh! I'm going to find Captain. He will get you down."
~ ~
"Hey, are you kinda disappointed?"
"Huh? What do you mean Alice?"
"Well I mean I'm really happy he freed us and everything but…"
"What?"
"I don't know… Don't you think… If it was him giving the commands you wouldn't mind?"
"Your face is awfully red, just what kind of commands are you thinking about."
"Nevermind just forget I said anything!"
"I will definitely not let this go that easily. Does taciturn Alice finally have someone she likes? I thought you said you would never love a boy."
"Karlie would you give that up I was like Six! Jeez."
~ ~
"Perfect."
With that, it was done. A ship needs to have its name written on the back. It's only natural. We didn't have the time in Marrow but I think even for a rush job it looks good. I'm sure the girls will be really surprised tomorrow morning when I show them.
"Captain this is where you've been. I was looking for you all night."
"Ah, Sorry Rou. I wanted to finish this to surprise everyone."
"Oh! It's perfect. I like the style! Did you do that yourself?"
"Yep," Though menu helped. "So are you enjoying the Feast?"
"Yeah though everyone seems to be doing their own thing. But the food is good. I don't think I can eat again for a week."
"You say that now but I was planning to make pancakes again tomorrow, I even figured I'd sneak away and try a new recipe tonight."

"Well, I could probably eat a bit…"
*Magic*
"Done."
"Oh, it really is. I'm amazed. But as I said before we really are just a small Inn we don't have much for money but I hope you will take this." Lynn holds out a gold slab she had been keeping safe under her pillow.
"No. Don't want." The short girl says nodding her head to the offered coin.
"But this is a gold sl…"
"Don't like gold. Makes dwarves crazy."
"Are you sure you don't…"
"Leaving."
"Ah wait how about a meal before you go at least, this chiller is surely worth at least that."
Gurrgle
"Meal then."
"Alright just wait a few minutes I'll make you something really interesting. You remind me of my daughter, and she showed me this recipe a few days ago, I'm sure it will suit your tastes."
~ ~
"So what will you do now?" Lynn asks, as the girl thanks her for the meal.
"Sail."
"Oh really leaving already? You sure you don't want to stay a few days. I'll give you a room."
"No, leave. Searching for the ultimate material. Must find."
"The ultimate material huh?"
"Live extracted, water affinity, beast core."
"Oh well, then Cole might… Oh, where'd she go?"
*Siblings*
"Mistress. it's here."
"Lemme see Lemme see. OOOh. It's even better than I'd heard." The well-dressed woman taps a small stone against the large stone nestled in the crate. A gush of water begins seeping out of the crate and the princess giggles happily. "Worth every penny!"
"I've never seen such a powerful water affinity stone. But I heard nothing about a sea dragon in the Dungeon, just where…?"
"It wasn't in the dungeon. It's as I've said, the real profit lies outside the dungeon. This one was found in Marrow I heard. And it wasn't a group subjugation. I heard a rumor it was a single person."
"Such a rumor couldn't be trusted."
"The source is very trustworthy."
"Then what is your plan?"
"No, I think I'm more interest what his plan is."
"But if you don't move the prince will."
"I hope he does. It will be a good chance to see our opponents strength."
"Um, madam. Which one of them are you talking about exactly."
"Hmm, I suppose we will see won't we."
~ ~
"That bitch! How did she know how much you brought? You said she started the bid a single gold above your limit? How much of an incompetent fool are you?"
SLAP
"Insolence. I will have your head for this failure. And perhaps your families too, it will depend on your wife's work I suppose. Guard, please."
"No, wait, anything but… Don't you dare touch my wife you son of a…"
"Ugh, commoners. All the same, so selfish. Do they know not who I am?"
~ ~
"The kids are lively."
"As always dear."
"I wonder if this squabble hasn't gotten out of control though?"
"It's up to you dear."
"I am thinking of presenting them with something completely beyond their level."
"Dear?"
"Oh, just something I heard from an old friend on the coast. I just wonder if the boy is all the old fool claimed. He really may be an A rank contender."
"And you think he will be enough alone?"
"No, not alone. Surely he could handle the kids alone with ease. But it's impossible to challenge the Demon King without allies. Even for someone who can strangle a sea dragon to death."
"He strangled it to death you say?"
"That's what I heard. I just hope he really is enough to whoop the two of them into shape. He received the invitation, now I just wonder if he will take it, perhaps I hassled him just by asking. I hope he doesn't take offense."
"You do remember you're the king right?"
"Yes?"

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
