Insert Description: The Battle of Eynond represents an attempt by Emperor Duronaht to defeat the armies of his older brother, Emperor Rohmhelt, at the fortress city of Eynond, which rests at the intersection of the Walsan, Tilset, and Keldras rivers.

Accompanied by the angels Omonrel, Parlon, Jagreth, Gorondos, and Myrvaness, Duronaht attempts to envelop Rohmhelt's position with superior numbers and the ferocity of his allied angels' attacks. In the broad region, Duronaht has approximately 580,000 soldiers to Rohmhelt's 340,000. With winter fast approaching along with its strains on supplies, the campaign is the last chance for Duronaht to try to defeat the forces loyal to the High Angel Forynda before the new year.

Aided by the angels Vorlan, Simel, Tathyk, Cyrona, and Rithys, Emperor Rohmhelt and Empress Evinda hope to inflict a terrible toll on the enemy army from these prime defensive positions and regain initiative in the war for Vorlanys.
