Hey guys, sorry it's been so long since any notice. I've been busy af with Overpowered and real life.

I've finished drafting the series rewrite. But to be fully honest, I don't know if I will ever have the time or ability to do it. I've stopped reading xianxia for around half a year now, which makes coming up on-the-spot with new and ridiculous ideas as I write much, much harder, and I feel like my work on Overpowered is already slow enough. Math God Plane was always a side project, and if I both can't even do a good job rewriting it AND it hampers my main work, then there's not much to be said about it :(

With that said, I may still rewrite it. Here is the general plan for the rewrite.

-Everything up to either chapters 8 or 9 will be kept. They are perfect and I can't make them any better. As for everything else, they will be trashed.

-The rewrite will be at maximum 30 chapters long. Parodies just dont have the material to make a complete story AND still be a parody, I have found.

-The plot will not be a continuous line forward. This was one of my biggest mistakes in the first rewrite; the second rewrite will toss out the boring things in between and make multiple (possibly silly) time skips so that the story can stay fresh. Consider for example the one day time skip in between Zhujiao leaving in chapter 6 and the cultivators coming en masse in chapter 7. That's the sort of thing I will do more.

I had a blast writing Math God Plane and I feel a strong obligation to complete it, but there are a lot of obstacles in my way. I'm not going to read xianxia just to get inspiration to parody it, and I do have another story and real life to consider. But the story is only going to be around thirty chapters, 7/8 which are already written, so we do have that going for us.
