9am Tuesday, A2 Science block Franklin's Secondary School. Tom was looking forward to actually learning things for the day, but the thing he was really looking forward to was seeing Taliya, her easy going demeanor was infectious to the point that whenever Tom's thoughts wandered off he could clearly see her face. The shiny golden sparkles on her eyelids, her jaded skin with out a single blemish, her imprinted dimples that never leave from her constant smile and her slightly bushy eyebrows that she frequently exaggerates with when she explains everything and anything. Now women in his past life never seemed so interesting to Tom. Sitting on a stall placed in the far left side of the corner of class, Tom couldn't help but take subtle glances her way. Being obvious about interests was Tom's go to. But with some explaining from Leo during his nightly conversations Tom realized women now looked for more than just an interesting and confident man. Hearing Leo explain about chicks wanting a guy that was cool and rich, did make Tom question Leo's thought process but Tom did agree that women were far different in this day and age.
During Form class Tom and Ryan filled in the structured seating arrangements. Tom unfortunately didn't get a seat near Taliya, and it looked like the twin sisters where purposely separated with one and the other being put on either side of the class. Somehow the lucky fucker Ryan got a spot next to Taliya which made Tom curse god for a second. Looking at the Students next to him he noticed the large figure who gave him an approving nod Yesterday. Without a thought he put his hand out, subconsciously incorporating Leos vocabulary. "Yo, what's up, I'm Theo?"
Grinning from ear to ear the large figure Grabbed Tom's hand firmly with both of his, shaking it enthusiastically.
"Hey there bud, my names Chad. You hit the gym much, little guy?"
Shaking his head Tom replied. "No, I've only thrown balls in it so far."
Hearing this, Chad tilted his head in confusion pondering about what Tom said.
Letting out a small chuckle he smacked Tom's back almost making a bruise.
"Haha, you're a really funny guy. I don't think form class is going to be that boring anymore with you in it."
After that a stern voice came from the front of the room.
"Quite down back there, I don't want to give out detention slips out on the second day of school!"
After the bell rang for the next period the usual crowd of students scurried towards the front door. Having Taliya at the front didn't quite give Tom the chance to accidentally run into her. Watching her walk off was upsetting, but Tom wouldn't let that get the better of him. Staying open minded Tom hoped that maybe she might be in one of the two classes he hadn't been to. Thinking of this he pulled out his sheet of paper looking for his next class.
On the bus in the morning Leo and Sam told him where all his classes were. Social Studies was in the Maths block so he didn't need to travel that far. Math block was apart of two separate buildings in the middle of the school, the buildings were 4 stories high and due to the large amounts of classes provided, the buildings shared subjects like Tourism, Social Studies, Geography and Computer rooms that were booked for use in all subjects. large stair cases were used for students to go to and from the classes. Each building did have an elevator but only students incapable of using the stairways had access to them.

During the class Tom had to write down the date to start off and not to long after that class kicked off. Learning about history wasn't to bad, the question about the impact of the past interested Tom, he wanted to know if their were records of himself like these interesting people from the past period who he had started learning about. Remembering Leo's reminder last night Tom started becoming disinterested and unfocused, using the specific actions and movements that Leo had taught him during these last couple of nights. Yesterday seeing Leo asleep last night he thought he had managed to skip out on their nightly talk but Leo still woke up doing a rehearsal with Tom. Getting kicked out of the room from his distracting behavior made Tom realized Leo had not taught him well at all. Sitting outside of the class Tom reminded himself to dial it down in his next class.
When the bell rang and the students left class the teacher told Tom to head inside, having a brief talk about distracting people who actually want to learn and writing in notes, rather than using his pen as a drumstick. Through the conversation Tom mentioned his emotional turmoil during his past and also added in that before the incident he was a top achiever which Theo actually was. Watching her expression become calmer and calmer Tom realized his plan slightly working. Missing out on the detention she was going to give him Tom couldn't help but wonder what it was. Recalling Theo's memories while outside he realized Theo had never been in detention or thought about it. But the way that the teachers didn't want to give it to students all the time made Tom curious about it.
Missing out on some of his Morning tea Tom rushed to the library while scoffing his face with his egg sandwich from his brown bag. When he entered he resembled a kid in a toy store able to pick out anything he wanted. Seeing the no food no drink sign he quickly put his half eaten apple in his bag. Unsure on what kind of book he should read he looked for books that were similar like the one Sam gave him. Asking the librarian lady for something like it, she gladly showed Tom the section. Grabbing a book with a named person mention in his book Tom read through its context, entranced he lost sight of time until he heard the bell for 2nd period.

2:15pm B5 English block, Franklin's Secondary School. Horticulture was apart of English block. Yesterday after Horticulture it was lunch time and while leaving class Tom noticed that English block, was a serene and quiet place. Everyone left the area as soon as they could and no one really hung out in the block.
There were 3 ways to enter English block, one was the concrete steps heading towards the deck that Taliya showed Tom. Another way was a small elevator that looked similar to an overgrown dumbwaiter, only used by students unable to use the steps. The last way was a concrete pathway coming from the deck between some classes merged into the hill pathway used to enter the school. The decking area was formed in pathways making an outlined rectangle only leading toward the multiple exits and classroom buildings on the outside of the rectangle, a metal pole was used on either side of the decking area only stopping at the exit points, steps to the steep middle section and when it was literally in the outside walls of the classes. Little hooks were placed on the poles used to link onto the classroom doors. In the middle of the rectangle deck area was a few small trees and flowers. four wooden steps led down to the steep old brick flooring of the section and two long wooden seats painted dark green were placed among the trees and flowers.

Looking outside at the area he heard the teacher mention something else to enter in his book other then the day and date. The teacher wanted every student to write down a guess of the degrees what they thought it was outside. Adding in his guess the teacher soon revealed the answer. Noticing that only him and a few others were right Tom didn't try to hide his smug grin. Knowing the temperature was second nature to Tom, back in his day knowing the weather was apart of survival. Tom did admit that Theo's memories helped him understand what degrees meant but knowing the temperature exactly was all him. After a brief explanation on why knowing the temperature is important to know the students were taken into a dark gloomy room. Equipment like spades and shovels were hooked up along the wall with numbers on them. Each student was to grab a spade and a shovel each. The teacher had a wheelbarrow filled with buckets.
Following the teacher he took the students to a fenced off area on a slope heading upwards. The chain fence was large about 2 meters or more, green tarpaulin was spread across some of the fence line. Rummaging through a key holder the teacher found the right key and opened the gate leading into the fenced off area. Inside their had multiple piles of plots filled with dirt. Their had a few with plants down the end but most of them were empty only having soil.
The class wasn't too bad, each student had to pick a plot of soil. Using the shovel to rotate the soil was the first thing they had to do. Later they slowly started adding blood and bone with lime to make the ph levels of the soil good for plant growth. Hearing the bell ring Tom didn't realize how fast time when by during this class compared to the others. luckily the teacher kept on track, making sure each student was in class before then.
Being so close to the hill made Tom one of the first people at the top. Waiting, he soon saw Leo.
"Yo."Popping hand's Leo threw a question towards Tom straight away.
"So, how did the plan go?"Grinning and walking along side Leo Tom answered.
"Yeah not to bad, I couldn't quite do it in Horticulture and P.E though."
Rubbing his stubble Leo asked.
"How many classes did you get kicked out of?"
Sighing Tom answered,"All three."
Chuckling Leo reassured Tom."It's fine, it's a good thing, keep it up it'll work I promise."
Scanning the area Leo continued.
"Let's get a snack to celebrate."
Heading into the shop Leo brought chips, energy drinks and lollies in a set of two's for Tom and himself. Not wanting to share he hid the snacks in his bag promising to bring them out when they were back at Hilton.
Later that day Tom finally got to eat the chips and lollies, also emptying the energy drink instantly. The burst of energy was thrilling, he ended up running around Hilton four times. After a good stretch he started his workout, lifting bricks like dumbbells he completed five sets of the nine repetitive movements. When he got to the last set he tried to do as many as he could physically do. During his workout Ryan came over, at first Tom thought he would show him how to do a good workout but not to long after that he was wrong. Ryan started a conversation explaining to Tom that he was avoiding the workout on his biceps entirely. Tom didn't quite believe him, how could he. Ryan was even smaller than Tom himself. Giving into Ryan's stubborn behavior Tom ended up trying out what he suggested. Somehow Tom had been using his back and his hips to lift the bricks rather than using his arms. To avoid this Ryan made Tom lay his back on the wall, making him only lift the bricks with his arms. Tom barely managed to do a set but the throbbing pain on his arms made him realize Ryan was right. Heading towards the old playground Ryan made Tom do some dips between some rusted monkey bars. Tom could barely do two, seeing this Ryan took Tom to a picnic table on the deck outside the dining room. sitting on the table's seat he showed Tom how to do a triceps dip, finding this much easier Tom managed to do 5 sets of 6 reps.
After making his protein shake Tom quickly headed off to have a shower. Entering Sam's room Tom was glad he could finally ask about Taliya, he had asked Leo about her but all that Leo knew was that one time Sam mistook her as Nadine and got a slap across the face when he tried to hug her from behind. Entering the room Tom knew Sam didn't like to beat around the bush so he said it straight away.
"Yo, tell me what you know about Taliya and you can have my ice cream tonight?"

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.

Tales of a Grim World.
Ancient prophecies say that once every thousand years, one shall rise to bring about a new age of darkness. A harbinger of evil, a being born for the sole purpose of sowing misery and disgrace. Through them, the world shall know of war, famine, pestilence and death— the four seals that herald the end of times. Besieged by the maws of evil, humankind shall suffer in agony as they watch everything they once knew be unmade before them. To oppose such a being, the whole world has had to stand united, in the battles that came to be historically known as the Great Holy Wars. Guided by the Saintess of Irithel, brave heroes coming from the four corners of the world had to sacrifice their lives in order to fight against the Harbinger and cast away the darkness. Our story begins in the year 578, a bit over six hundred years since the end of the fifth holy war. In the kingdom of Valtia, a small nation belonging to the Union of Western Kingdoms, an urgent missive bearing the royal seal arrives at the hands of Earl William Taylor. Though it might still be almost half a millennia too early for another Harbinger to be born, dark clouds already loom over the northern continent of Gram, as many bizarre events start taking place. Follow the story of our main characters as they struggle to survive in a grim, unforgiving world. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Warning: This work is intended for mature audiences and contains adult scenes and heavy descriptions of violence and gore.
