Chapter 4
Hidden Secrets
After my father and the examiner left I went back to study to find more books related to my magic. I found the Magic moon once again as I had hidden it. I later felt 2 weird pulsations a distance away from me.
As I picked up the moon book I made my way towards where the pulsations were coming from and found a book hidden behind a bookshelf and the 2nd pulsation led me to a book that was hidden under a marble tile which I had to remove to get to.
The first book I had found was tattered and had a red cover while the other was a very dark blue cover with various decorations covering it. The Dark blue book looked more well kept compared to the red book I had found.
I noticed that both books had locks that looked oddly misplaced and that there was no way to unlock them. I was puzzled but then decided to touch them and once my fingers came into contact with the lock on the red book the book began regenerating almost as if it was alive and pieced itself back together. Once the book had repaired itself I saw that the once tattered red cover was now a Dark red which resembled that of blood-drenched in darkness.
I instinctively knew that this book was related to the 3rd magic I had which was blood and upon opening it I saw similar things to the Moon book. Upon noticing this I touched the Dark blue book as well but the book remained the same. The cover of the book changed and golden decorations began to appear on its cover along with a golden planet appearing, making it more grand compared to the dark red book which looked more sinister.

Both books had covers that when compared to the Moon book I found were on par with it. Upon opening the dark blue book it contained mainly magic compared to both the Dark red book and Moon book.
It showed various forms of methods of magic but also postures to conduct the magic greater. I pondered on an Idea and how to deal with the 3 books.
I became worried about what to do with the 3 books as I don’t want to hide them someplace just for them to disappear one day. When I was thinking of a plan the books began to shrink and they became the size of small miniature books which shocked me.
As they did so I tried to turn them back to normal size and with my will they did, so I experimented with the concept of turning them big and small and found there was no drawback or repercussions.
I gathered the 3 small books and carried them in my pocket and when I returned to my room my father came in. He asked me how I was doing and if I needed anything leading me to say I wanted a necklace.
Father was thrilled upon the request and said the necklace would be done by tomorrow and made by the greatest blacksmith. I went to bed that night and drifted off into another good deep sleep.

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions. But you need to live in the dark to appreciate the light...or at least, the lighter grays 🖤🖤
