Looks like my stats increased even more than before, but I doubt that that is important.
To my surprise, the Demon King's body disintegrated into nothingness. I put away the Scythe before Morgan spoke.
"That happens to all Demon Kings. Their power is in their bodies, so when they die their power is given to the next recipient. They should get their power within the day." she said as she walked over to me and leaned on my arm a bit. I was taller than her by a decent amount so it was cute.
"The bastard had it coming to him. He should have looked at the horns on my head. They were practically screaming superiority."
I said with rolling eyes. Morgan beside me laughed a bit before getting off me and walking towards the door. She looked back at me and motioned her hands for me to follow.
"It's about time we leave." (Morgan)
"Yeah, there isn't much left for us to do.."
As we said that, we opened the doors and heard scared screams from the outside. I smelled something disgusting and just as Morgan was about to walk out, I grabbed her should and prevented her from moving forward.
What greeted us was a bunch of scared shitless soldiers.
Literally. There was shit everywhere. It was as funny as it was disgusting. Morgan's face turned green with disgust as I was trying not to laugh my ass off at our failed cool looking exit.
I took the initiative and hopped over everyone, sending them all into a panic. They fled and a few of them slipped on the waste they left behind, which made me almost fall over. Even with over 6k strength it was hard to remain standing while laughing you ass off.
They had nowhere to go since we were blocking their paths, so I told Morgan to come here.

"Hop on over here Morgan. They don't want to pass us."
She only nodded and hopped over. We then walked out of the castle after passing the hallways and paths we used to get to the throne room.
When we exited, there was a bunch of people crowding the entrance. I was confused until Morgan spoke up.
"The demons can sense when their leader dies."
I looked at the huge crowd of people, and they seemed to be scared. I heard some murmuring in the crowd. Most about me having 5 horns, but my red marking were also mentioned.
I took a step forwards and they took a step backwards. I continued to walk normally and Morgan followed me and a pathway was made for us to leave. We made it through the huge crowd of what seemed like the entire city and I looked back at the castle.
"We'll set up camp at a nearby town or city. We'll wait a few days then come back to meet the new Demon King."
Morgan agreed with my point, but..
"Certainly, that makes sen-...."
She went quiet. I began to smirk at her, and she sweated in response. She knew what this would mean, and she wanted to run away. Even if she ran though, she wouldn't make it far. I am much faster than her.
She looked down at the floor and my smirk became larger.
"Ohhhh Mooorrrgaaannnn~"
She became motionless and froze up in fear. I had to hold back my laughter at this sight.
"You knowww~ I think we should get a head start on the day. We wouldn't want to waste time when we could relax the rest of the day."
I was now smiling menacingly with my fangs showing. In response to my teasing, she turned around and began walking away. I simply followed. She sped up a bit, and I followed suit. She then sprinted full force, and I laughed before going so fast I basically teleported to her, catching her.
"NOOOOOO" (Morgan)
She tried to struggle, and I replied with laughing and detainment. I then blasted off in the direction of the city with her screaming. I came across a random pedestrian who fell down in fear.
"Hello sir, do you know where the nearest town is?"
"Nonoonnonnnonnnonooonononononno" (Morgan)
After taking a few seconds to understand the situation, he replied. "There is a town called Gohrgen just southwest of here. It's rather nice. It has inns and an Adventure Guild."
I was please with his answer.
"Thank you. Have a nice day."
After saying that, morgan yelled even louder as she felt me tense up a bit then we rocketed off faster than sound towards the southwest. Just like before, she dipped in and out of consciousness and I couldn't help but laugh at her. She was definitely going to be pissed at me, but it was funny so I didn't care.
----------
After jumping and jumping, blasting off every time I hit the ground we neared the town of Gohrgen. Morgan seemed to get used to the speed a bit as she passed out less than before. when she saw the town, he eyes lit up. Within a few seconds we arrived at the town.

I didn't know where to land, so I landed in the forest a decent distance away from the town gates.
Morgan slipped out of my arms and landed on the floor, hugging it. She sure is glad to be on the ground.
With tears in her eyes she yelled at me.
"How could you, you bastard!"
While laughing a bit, I replied: "Because it was funny"
With puffed cheeks, she got up and walked towards the town gates. She didn't run. She would honestly probably puke if she ran. A dragon that is afraid of heights, huh? Hehe..
I caught up with her and we walked. I was a few feet behind her, as she was still mad at me. She would get over it soon. I just wonder how she'll handle it when we have to go back.
Note: Keep in mind this is a Demon town. With demon guards, and demon residents.
I landed pretty close to the wall, so we didn't have to go too far. After like 5 minutes of walking in silence we reached the gates. One of the guards saw us, at the watch tower and turned around, shouting something.
The gates opened and a guard came out. He looked at us, and before even speaking he ran back inside. I tuned in to hear what they were saying thanks to my Hearing Passive, and I was able to hear two voices.
"Captain! Captain!"
"What's wrong? Is it a human invasion?!"
"No, there is a dragon-kin here with a demon that has five horns!"
"What? Let me see..."
After that, it was footsteps that were running to the gates.
"They are coming and bringing the Captain. It's about you being a dragon-kin and me having 5 horns."
I said that as I realized that my tail way swaying behind me. He didn't see my tail because of my positioning, but if I left it out they would find it. So, I wrapped it around my waist like a certain prince with a scouter after his planet was blown up.
Right after doing that, the Captain and 3 others ran out. After huffing a bit and with a shocked face, the Captain spoke up.
"Ah.. We welcome you both, please follow us so we can answer any questions you have."
I nodded while Morgan just eyed the Captain, looking for any hint of hostility.
We walked with the Captain through the gates and into the town. It was quite lively, and from before I landed I looked at it. The town was pretty big. As me and Morgan looked around, it was almost comparable to Tandspes, the capital.
We followed him as he made a sharp right towards a section that was probably his office. He told us to sit down politely and he took a seat himself at his desk.
"So, What would a dragon-kin and a... demon, be doing together and coming to Gorghen?" (Captain)
There was a brief pause before Morgan answered.
"Me and my master Lor-" (Morgan)
I hit her in the head lightly, but enough to stop her talking and cause her to rub her head. The captain raised his right eyebrow towards my action and her words, but kept quiet.
"Me and ..Lorne came to visit Gorghen after doing business in the capital. We have to wait a while before what we need is ready so we came here to relax." (Morgan)
"But the capital is a few days away. Why didn't you just stay there at an inn? (Captain)
Before Morgan could speak, I spoke up.
"We both want to register at the guild. Our friend who is a blacksmith told us to come here while he was finishing our weapons since there was an Adventurers guild here."
The captain's eyebrows raised in understanding, and he shook his head to himself before speaking with a smile.
"I see I see.. Well, Mr. Lorne, you should take those fake horns off or you'll attract attention." (Captain)
sigh
"These aren't fake."
"Eh?" (Captain)
"They are real. See?"
I said as I began tugging on them. He was surprised and barely kept his composure.
"Ahhh....." (Captain)
God dammit I broke him.
Morgan was quietly laughing next to me. Great.
"So, Captain, we should be on our way. We'd rather not take up all of your time."
I got up and Morgan did as well. The Captain just replied with noises that sounded like an 'Alright' and we left. I smiled a bit, and we left the barracks and headed to the store district.

Would your life change forever? Would you become a King amongst men? OF COURSE NOT! For the heavens are fair and they shall maintain the balance of the realm, no matter what the case. Did I ask for the knowledge I was given? NO! Did I ask for the abilities I was given? NO! So then why make me different? Why turn me into a monster who sees all yet cannot participate in the competition for power that you have arranged? WHY HAVE THE HEAVENS FORSAKEN ME? From birth I saw everything, nothing could escape my sight. However, the heavens made me a cripple, they put me in the shadows and I can’t help but yearn for the light. Why am I still of the living then? Well, Why should I give the Heavens the satisfaction of seeing me give up? I will not submit to the heavens nor will I submit to the bastards that wish to use me. All I can do now is continue to rebel against everything. All I can do is continue to battle the Heavens in my heart. I shall carve out a new path for all those like me, a path that will go against the very constitution of this world. How will I do this? I do not know. But I will! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will upload a chapter a day on Royalroad (maybe more) however if you want more of the story at a quicker pace then go to fantasy-books.live. There are currently 110+ chapters of Path of Blood there. P.S - I started Path of Blood about a year ago so the first fifteen chapters have some problems character wise however I'm currently working with an editor to remedy these to make the story a better read. Anyway, these issues don't last long and since Pob is a story that rewards the patient, only those who've read till the latest will understand how good the story really is....I designed it to get better with every ark, surprises planned at every corner and the eventual ending of Pob will definitely not dissapoint, so stick around and give it a chance. :D

Mutant Farmer in the Apocalypse
In the year 2022, one year after the Z-20 Virus outbreak, all of humanity had been infected by the virus, and their bodies reacted differently. The majority of the humans turned into zombies, while the minority turned into ability users. Some didn’t change into either. They were powerless in comparison, as even feral zombies were more powerful than an average human. At 20 years old, Yang Zhang was used as a scapegoat and kicked out of his town; a medium-sized shelter base used to protect humanity from the ever-growing threat of zombie attacks. Scared and powerless against the harsh world infested with zombies, he stumbled upon a squirrel that ate the brain of a dead ability user and began discharging electricity constantly. He realized that he could use this newfound information to protect himself. “That’s right! I can build a farm and create more and more of these mutated animals and plants to protect myself!”Thus started the journey of Yang Zhang as he created a farm while continuously breeding many magical —albeit grotesque— mutated animals and plants. Yet, once the zombies and ability users started noticing his unique farm, they began to invade. With no choice left, he armed himself by creating stronger mutated animals and plants to protect the farm at all cost! “Get off of my lawn, you bunch of greedy pigs!”**Tower Defense + (Mutated) farm simulator + Zombie waifu.**--Original Cover art, using Picrew.Cover + Editor by Silly_FoxThis book is also available in Webnovel and Scribblehub--
