'Goddess, this is my first and maybe my last prayer. Even though I don't really believe you existed but if you did, I just hope you give pity to my wife. Destiny has already lead the sure destruction of the Kingdom of Xaerin but my wife has done nothing wrong. I'll do whatever you asked of me. Just tell death to give her mercy.'

I can finally hear the voice of the descendant of Xaerin.

This is what I have been waiting for.

The ender dragon might have trapped me in my heaven the way she is trapped in her end island but it doesn't mean I can't answer to the prayers of my creations.

All of the three ancient kingdom's descendants and the original one have finally reached out to me.

It is time to get rid of their curse.

It is time to let them know I didn't abandon them.

It is time to give them a fighting chance.

I held my hands in front of me and it glows until everything around me is now bathed in light.

******* Prince Raimer's POV *******

The moment I reached the desecrated church in my castle in the eastern border, I quickly kneel on the ground in front of the broken altar.

This place was once beautiful. The priest preached to hundreds of people gathered in here but now there are only dust and mold. The king forbade religion since he believes it only hinders his world conquest.

I am all alone here while staring at the ground.

I don't know what to do.

I tried to convince my father to stop the nonsense war but he won't listen to me. He just said that it is his destiny to rule this world. He even tried to kill me for "treachery" but only managed to take my right eye.

My wife is also plagued with an incurable disease. I don't know where she gets it from but I called every potion master and healer in the kingdom and they didn't manage to find a solution for her sickness. I even tried to call the ender dragon's believers the illagers like the witches and warlocks but they also failed.

I am losing hope.

I am finally doing the thing that I didn't think that I will do in my life and that is praying.

I don't really believe the existence of the Goddess but what else could I possibly do right now.

I didn't put my hand together like what the people who worship here do and just closed my eyes.

I began praying.

After a moment, I was answered with nothing but silence.

Of course. What did I expect?

I stand on my feet and began walking out of the church.

I was about to step outside and reached my horse when suddenly I can hear a whisper in my ear.

'Don't lose hope. Save this world.'

I quickly turned around to see who said that and armed my giant iron hammer in my hand.

I didn't see anyone.

I quickly noticed that my body suddenly shines and I closed my remaining left eye because of how bright it is.

After a moment, I opened my eye and checked my body for any changes.

Nothing. I can see nothing wrong in my body.

I opened my status to see if there are any changes.

I am shocked to what I am seeing but the only thing that I'm so focused right now is the name Goddess in my status.

The Goddess really do exist and she even answered my prayer.

I kneeled on the ground holding my weapon in front of me.

I didn't put any sincerity to my first prayer but this time I put all my feelings into it.

'I won't fail you, Goddess.'

******* Sisilla's POV *******

I hope Carolus and Rose are safe from their travel.

They are probably fine since Carolus is around and he can handle anything.

It is morning right now which means it is time to stay indoors once again. This is my most hated time in the day even though it is once my favorite.

I am rocking my chair while brushing my cat.

I stare in the surroundings and remembered that they are two humans that lived here for a night.

I'm glad I met a human before I am gone fully insane from living for so long and decided to take my life away.

'Goddess, I pray for Carolus victory against the ender dragon.' I prayed.

I was about to close my eyes to pretend to sleep when suddenly I can feel my body changing.

I quickly opened my eyes to see that I'm shining.

My cat quickly got off my lap and run away in the distance.

My body is aching so much and tried to stand but quickly fell on the floor.

I am trashing and screaming begging for it to stop.

After a while, the pain is finally gone and I slowly stand on my feet.

I checked on my body to see that it is now different.

I touched every part of my body to see that it is changed.

What happened?

I opened my status to see if they are changes.

My eyes are wide open right now and started smiling and laughing like a crazy person.

I quickly punched my front door down and ripped my clothes off.

I slowly walked outside my house until my body is now fully bathed in sunlight.

"Oh! How I miss this!" I exclaimed while spinning slowly with my arms spread wide on the muddy ground of the swamp.

I jumped on the roof of the house and stare at the vast horizon.

I know that I'm fully naked but I don't care if anybody sees me right now. The people or monsters who happened to see me, just consider this a free service.

I laughed and dance on the roof while having the rays of the yellow fire in the sky enveloped me.

******* Arthur's POV *******

"Where are you going, Arthur?" I can hear the voice of Queen Thea behind me.

I am walking towards the stables to finally start traveling south.

"I have a duty to save my people," I said to Queen Thea without stopping.

"No. You have a duty to serve this kingdom."

The moment I hear Queen Thea's words, I quickly turned around and both of us stopped walking while staring at each other.

"I already served this kingdom when I was the lord and knight of the west until they stipped me of my title!" I shouted at Queen Thea.

She didn't flinch at my words and even ignored the people that are now gathering around us.

"I have now enough influence and support to give you back your title and position." Queen Thea said after a moment.

"I no longer need it nor care about it," I said to her while turning around and starting to walk towards the stables.

Queen Thea tried to stop me by holding my hand and I was about to pull my hand away when suddenly I started shining.

"Arthur!" Queen Thea shouted at me while trying to get closer to me.

I quickly pushed her away and ordered her guards to protect her.

I closed my eyes and just waited for something to happen.

I opened my eyes after a moment and can see multiple soldiers pointing their weapons at me. I can also see some bows and crossbows ready to fire.

What just happened? I didn't feel any pain or changes in my body.

"Stand down! I said STAND DOWN!" I can hear Queen Thea ordering her soldiers to lower their weapons.

They reluctant to follow her orders at first but after hearing Queen Thea shouts, they finally put away their weapons.

"Arthur, are you alright?" Queen Thea asked after a moment and I can see every single people here staring at me.

I ignored all of them and just opened my status.

It only takes only one glance in my status to have me kneeling on the ground.

"Arthur!" Queen Thea shouted at me while starting to get close.

She quickly kneels on the ground in front of me while trying to talk to me.

"She finally answered," I said after a moment while Queen Thea is still talking.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"I prayed and prayed every day and she finally answered my prayers."

"Arthur, you better start making sense before I call a healer."

I didn't answer Queen and just reached my hand on her face.

She flinches in my touch but I don't care right now.

Tears are now flowing in my face.

"The Goddess answered my prayers."

Everyone around me is shocked about what I just said including Queen Thea.

******* Rose's POV *******

King Carolus and I are now galloping towards west.

I finally managed to convince him to stopped fishing since he really wants to stay.

It took quite a lot of arrows to make him move in his seat but we are now finally traveling towards my kingdom.

I'm on the lead since I am now familiar with the land.

King Carolus is right behind me and I kept track on him in case he suddenly disappears.

"We are traveling too fast. We will tire our horses early." I can hear King Carolus voice behind me but I just ignored him.

Too much time has already gone and I can't imagine what is happening in the Kingdom of Aezeokar.

Last time I was in my kingdom, they are still phantoms invasions on the eastern border and drowned attacks on the west.

I hope they are all right.

Everything was running smoothly for a while when suddenly I started to shine.

I quickly halted my horse and I can also hear King Carolus stopping.

I can't see anything and I suddenly can feel someone grabbing me and I think I am now laying on the ground.

After a moment, the bright light finally disappeared and I can now see King Carolus face right in front of me while holding me in his arms.

I tried to shake him off but he is too strong.

I can see an eye of ender in his hands and quickly used it on me.

"Stop doing that! How many eye of enders do you have!?" I shouted at King Carolus.

"I see. Your curse is gone now." He just ignored me and started spouting something.

What curse?

I quickly opened my status to see if they are any changes.

I was shocked to see that they are now gifts from the Goddess and new abilities.

I can't believe it.

I am still bewildered about my status when suddenly I was being helped stand on my feet. I didn't mind King Carolus hands on me and just let him do it.

I stared at him while wondering about what he just said.

He said something about a curse. He knew something about me that I didn't know and he didn't say anything about it.

King Carolus ordered to stop traveling and just rest for now but I just protested and urge to keep moving.

I don't know what just happened but I know this is a sign that I'm walking the true path the Goddess wants me to tread on.
