”I must at least posses the strength of a Silver Saint before venturing out of this place” muttered Kuro, who is short on his breath.

“Your body is adapting to your new found power. You can handle those weak mobs such as skeletons and zombies.”

“But be sure not to engage those skeleton or zombie leaders as you are not strong enough” indicated the Yin Yang Sagittarius Cloth’s (YYSC) consciousness.

“I know.”

“I keep on gathering the cosmos in the universe inside my body. But I am unable to fully utilize it.”

As Kuro was conversing with the YYSC’s consciousness, a loud snarl jolted him into what was happening in his surroundings. A zombie horde comprising of decomposing pieces of flesh were slowly walking towards him upon smelling his human scent.

“Let’s see if you can defeat these zombies without the help of the YYSC.”

“If you can defeat these many, you’ll surely gain a lot of benefits and you’ll be able to wield your power efficiently.”

“Remember, you have already awakened your sixth sense. You are not a weak ordinary human anymore.”

After the brief reminder from the YYSC, Kuro eagerly entered into a battle stance. When the zombies were 10 meters away from him, he began his attack.

With extreme focus, a thin white glow encompassed Kuro’s body, indicating that he is fully releasing his cosmos. In the next instant, he released a punch that broke through the sound barrier, quickly shattering the head of the zombie.

“Ding!”

Kuro was startled. Never did he expect that a notification will ring in his head indicating the amount of experience that he has obtained.

“Since you are no longer an ordinary human, there are many things that you should know.”

“Since acquiring me, the YYSC, you have also obtained a feature unique to you and the other Saints of Athena.”

“You can now be considered as a Saint at the Bronze Level, between levels 15 to 20.”

“Ordinary Humans can be placed at levels 1-14.”

“The threshold to becoming a Saint at the Silver level is at level 20. You need to obtain experience through training and vanquishing the forces of the Dark Lord in order to level up and consolidate your power.”

“You’ll be able to level up to Silver Level once you defeat all of the foes in this area.”

“Be sure to work hard. Just focus on either your left eye or right eye in order to view your stats. You’ll be able to see more and understand more once you level up to Gold Level.”

With a thought, Kuro focused his right eye which turned golden, and at a moment he can see his stats.

Kuro is as nimble as a ninja as he performed a round house kick to hit the closest zombie in his right. The zombie’s head flew high in the air while its body lifelessly stumped to the ground.

Kuro kept on hammering his way thru the crowd of zombies as he crazily slaughtered them one at a time.

“Thanks to the awakening of my body, I can take on all of these zombies without any problem.”

“Fatigue is literally non-existent as long as I only use my fists and other parts of my body as a weapon.”

“I just need to use minimal cosmos in order to protect such body parts.”

With a quick movement, Kuro performed a somersault that quickly beheaded the zombie in front. During his fall, he quickly used his right knee in order to hit the zombie below him, crushing its head to the crowd. Brain matter exploded as the zombie’s head was crushed.

Looking at the still more than a hundred zombies comprising the horde, Kuro licked his lips excitedly and spoke to the YYSC in his consciousness.

“I never expected that training is this fun.”

Without hesitation, Kuro rushed towards the sea of zombies in front with the intent of getting stronger as quickly as possible.
