Through pain and failure.
Some looked at her, pondering
How did she keep herself going?
Rumors spread that she didn’t,
She was just faking it to
Get attention and pride.
But that wasn’t true.
No, it couldn’t be farther than that.
She continued on because
She felt that there was something
To be hoping for.
A rainbow, an opportunity?
Who knows?
At this point, it doesn’t matter.
At least her effort brings me some hope.
