(Jeron gets flashbacks of the day when Uyeda attacked him...He clenches his fist and rushes back to their locker-room. The announcer announces a recess period so the fighters can relax and heal up... Kikuchi,Toda and Chloe follow him to the locker-room...)
"Kikuchi:I guess..The day came too soon....You gotta fight Uyeda..."
"Jeron:How is he here...I don't understand..He should've graduated by now..."
"Chloe:Well..Looks like he didn't....Kikuchi?"
"Kikuchi:Yeah?"
"Chloe:Promise me something...Beat the living hell out of Chris...For Jack..."
(Kikuchis eye starts to glow from her saying Jacks name and he winks to her and smiles...)
"Kikuchi:I promise.."
"Toda:Well rest up kids..You two have hard fights ahead of you.."
(They both nod...Jeron goes to take a nap and Kikuchi goes to grab some food with Chloe...
The announcer announces that the break ends in 5 mins and the matches will start in 10 mins..)
"Kikuchi:Well..I guess we gotta go back and warm up..."
"Chloe:Yeah..Still keeping my promise?"
"Kikuchi:Of course..I would do anything for him..."
(Kikuchi looks away and starts walking back to the locker-room but then changes his mind and starts walking towards the entrance to the arena..)
"Chloe:Kikuchi arn't we supposed to tell the others?"
(He ignores her and walks straight into the arena..The crowd cheers to the sight of him...The announcer announces that the fight is happening right now! Chris walks out and screams at Kikuchi.. Kikuchi smirks and points his middle finger to him...)
"Kikuchi:You better come at me with all you have dickhead!"
(Chris smiles and screams to him..)
"Chris:You too!"
"Kikuchi:Then its your deathwish..."
(The horn blazes and the match starts...Chris and Kikuchi slowly start to approach eachother...Kikuchi uses a small blast to knock Chris back...He laughs as Chris fires another one back...Jeron walks to the stands and looks at the fight...)

"Jeron:What are they doing..."
(Both of their eyes glow...Kikuchis glow blue in his left eye and purple in his right eye...Chris's eye glows yellow in both of his eyes...Chris charges at him but Kikuchi just jumps over him...)
"Kikuchi:I said try your best..."
(Chris looks behind him and stares at Kikuchi...Spikes summon under Kikuchis feet,but he just stands on them...)
"Kikuchi:Well this was fun...Shadowy Void!"
(Everything goes black in Kikuchis and Chris's perspective...They are in the void again....Chris looks at his arms and legs being held with chains...He looks around and sees some unknown shadowy figures there too...Kikuchi appears with eyes glowing and holding a blade...)
"Kikuchi:Welcome..To my domain...I have a question...What is your trait exactly?"
"Chris:Almost the same as yours...I just can't do this...."
"Kikuchi:Oh...And what do you call it?"
"Chris:I don't have a name for it..."
(Kikuchi floats towards him and cuts his cheek...Then he cuts his right leg and left arm off...Chris screams in agony...)
"Kikuchi:Why did you kill Jack!?"
"Chris:Since it felt right!"
"Kikuchi:Heh...I would say good job..But I was his friend... Its ironic isn't it... Your trait is as powerful as mine...But you can't use it right...Well...Our time is up..."
(Kikichi snaps his fingers and the void shatters and Chris starts wiping his eyes...Kikuchi is far from him holding his hand out...)
"Kikuchi:Shattering Shadow...."
(Kikuchi fires at him and it turns into 10 smaller blasts and they hit Chris...The blasts impale him and he gets blown to the edge...Kikuchi smirks...)
"Kikuchi:I though that would make him blast into the wall...I guess I didn't focus enough.."
(Chris tries to get up and looks at Kikuchi...His eyes start to fully glow and he dashes at Kikuchi and starts kicking and punching him around...He uses a spike to knock him into the air and shoots a massive blast at Kikuchi...He teleports to him and cuts his leg off...He starts to think why his limbs are back even though they were cut off in the void...)

"Kikuchi:Time..."
(Chris feels a sharp pain in his arm and leg as they explode and he falls down....Kikuchi floats down and looks at Chris and frowns...)
"Kikuchi:Look at him...Fucking puny motherfucker..."
(Kikuchi summons a blade and impales him and raises him up...)
"Kikuchi:Yoohooo..You awake?"
(Chris spits blood and whispers something...)
"Chris:Sunlight...Haze.."
(Chris starts to glow and teleports off of Kikuchis blade...He appears behind Kikuchi...His eyes were white and he had wings....He blasts Kikuchi in the air and starts teleporting around him and cutting him up and cuts his throat...Kikuchi falls to the mat and holds his throat...)
"Chris:Any last words?!"
(Kikuchi stares at him and screams..)
"Kikuchi:Snap!"
(Chris's body freezes and he stops glowing...he falls down and gets impaled by chains...Kikuchi points his hand and fires a blast at Chris...Knocking him out of the fighting area...Kikuchi wins...Chloe runs out and starts healing Kikuchi....His leg grows back and his throat gets healed...He gets up and tells Chloe..)
"Kikuchi:Go heal him.."
(Chloe freezes and looms at Kikuchi oddly..)
"Chloe:Why...He killed Jack...He almost killed you.."
"Kikuchi:Heal him...I don't care that he killed Jack..."
(Chloe nods and she starts walking to Chris with Kikuchi...She starts healing him,Kikuchi picks him up and carries him to the locker-room...The crowd cheers at Kikuchi...They arrive in the locker-room and Kikuchi lays Chris down on the bench...Toda and Jeron come in the room,but Jeron is furious...)
"Jeron:What are you doing?! He was supposed to die out there!"
(Jeron pushes Kikuchi and he hits his head against the wall...)
"Kikuchi:I like him....He is a good fighter...."
"Chris:Well we are better! Right Chloe?"
"Chloe:I..."
(She stays quiet and looks down...Jeron looks at Toda in anger and his eyes start glowing...)
"Toda:I mean...Kikuchi...He just killed Jack...You can't just do stuff like that..."
(Chris opens his eyes and looks at them arguing...)
"Chris:Why am I here...?"
(Jeron turns around and almost stabs Chris with his blade but Kikuchis whip stops him...)
"Kikuchi:I brought you here to heal..But someone doesn't approve it..."
"Jeron:You killed Jack!"
(The announcer announces for the fighters to come to the entrances as the fight is about to start...Jeron cuts the whip off..)
"Jeron:We will talk about this later..."
(Jeron runs out...The others walk to the stands and to look at the fight...Jeron comes out as the crowd doesn't approve of him...But then the crowd starts cheering when...Uyeda Takeshi comes out...He had black hair...Alot of scars on his chest and arms...Wings come out of Uyedas back and he looks at Jeron...)
"Uyeda:We meet again...Brother..It seems our paths come across again..."
"Jeron:I'm gonna kill you Uyeda...This is your last breath in life...."
(Jerons eyes start to glow...Both of his wings come out this time...He rips his shirt off and stares at Uyeda..The horn blazes and they both dash at eachother...)

Life wasn't hard anymore, at least not in the United States of Europe. Summer break is about to start and, finally, Zoe will turn 18 and be able to play the game, Binding Fate. A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger... We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way.
