The Destroyer, Odin's former war armor and enchanted to act independently like a guard, an enchanted Asgardian automaton used primarily to guard Odin's Vault, though it could also be used as a weapon against its master's enemies.
The Destroyer unquestionably obeyed the ruler of Asgard and wielder of Gungnir, no matter who the ruler may be at any given time.
And the ruler of Asgard currently is Loki, angered by the Warrior Three and Sif action, he have sent the Destroyer to prevent them from bringing Thor back and make sure that Thor does not see the light of tormorrow.
Looking at the giant armor walking toward them, the Warrior three, Sif and Thor faces turn ugly. One of the three warriors Volstagg turn to face Thor.
"Thor, fight with us!"
As tempted as Thor was for the thrill of battle and the rush he feel when fighting with his friends in arm, Thor shook his head.
"No my friends, I am nothing more than a mortal man now, i will only drag you down and worse get you killed, but i will help with the evacuation. "
Thor said patting his shoulder, Jane Foster, Thor's girlfriend held his arm.
"If you stay then i staying too" she said firmly.
Thor reluctant argee but still turn to Jay with a pleading gaze, requesting.
"Prophet, please protect her for me."
Jay just nod silent, as most of his attention was on the Destroyer it self, his eyes glow red and a pentagram appeared on it.
This phenomenon amazed the Asgardian and Jane group while Charlotte look in, fascinated by the eyes beautiful red color and unique patterns.
What no one else but Jay see is the invisible runes and enchantment on the armor, he marvel at the level of the efforts in making the runes.

Each one have their owns effect but when put together in the final form all the runes connected to each other, creating a form of synergy boosting the armor power to another level.
If the military were to come up amd fight this then without heavy sacrifice they will unable to even put a dent to the outer defense, any significant damages would need something on the scale of a ICBM. And the armor can even repair itself if needed making it extremely hard to destroy.
As Jay was thinking to himself on the marvelous ability of the Destroyer, Thor quickly with the help of Jane and the others quickly evacuate the people in the nearby building.
While they was doing that the Warriors three was confronting the Destroyer, with the help of Hogun and Fandral, Volstagg was able to leap up from a car and into the Destroyer.
It was a bad plan though as the Destroyer with a backhand slap, sent Volstagg flying back, crashing and crushing a car.
The Destroyer step to him and open his head part intending to finish him off with a heat beam, but Lady Sif leap from a building near it and using her spear to peirce through the Destroyer head nailing it down.
"That wasn't so hard isn't it?"
Her spear was only missing a bit from little Volstagg though, cursing inside his mind of her pettiness for still trying to get back on him on drinking her precious wine.
Volstagg stood up and slightly glare her. Sif just brightly smile back at him though not caring for his feelings. Frandal and Hogum also laugh while Thor watching from a far sighed in relief.
Their victory was cut short though as Jay shout.
"Be careful it not done yet!
At his words the orange glow returns to the armor as it rearrange it entire upper body and blast a beam at Sif, which she barely dogde.
It then proceeded to pull Sif's sword out from it head and regenerate the damaged part, it then make short work of the remaining three slapping them aside as if they was some annoying flies

The life of a teenage hellworlder
We've all heard of the trope that Earth is a deadly planet by galactic standard; and has thus honed humanity into a ruthless species bent on surviving at all costs. As it turns out, that trope is true. Sapient species that evolve on safe planets develop to be peaceful and compassionate - and the ones that do on dangerous ones become violent and selfish out of need - usually wiping themselves out. But obviously, not every violent species drives itself to extinction - resulting in them being feared and ostracized - including humans. The life of a teenage hellworlder is a sci-fi slice of life story that revolves mainly around Thomas, a sixteen-year-old New Britannian attending a Xeno high school, who befriends a lonely apex predator named Javqua. Getting written by two amateur teen writers, things may sometimes be inconsistent or be confusing - feel free to comment and point out these problems. Gore, profanity, and traumatizing content tags are only for minor events in the story and do not happen often. Chapters are around 1k - 2k words - pretty short, but that's because we're all busy with our own lives and school. Trust us - we would gladly upload 5k word chapters if we could. We tend to upload new chapters every Saturday or Sunday. Please consider supporting us on Patreon!
