Seeing the battle situation quickly turnings south Thor ran over to Jay, while out of breath he asked.
"Prophet, please help my friends, show me how to win!"
At his desperate expression Jay mused to himself.
"Do you trusted me Thor, son of Odin? "
Seeing his serious face Thor nod, at the sight of his action Jay smile brightly and pat him on the shoulder.
And before Thor can said anymore, Jay grab him and with a swing of his arm Thor was sent flying toward the Destroyer.
Loki who was controlling the Destroyer instinctively swing his arm and Thor was squash aside like a bug lying on car wreckage, bleeding on his forehead.
Jane who witness his action, ran in front of him and grab his collar, angrily shout.
"Why did you do that?!? You are killing Thor!" she questioned
Jay still have a calm look on his face though and with a look of slight disdain as if looking at a uneducated fool.
"If Thor can die that easily then he would have been a pile of bones long agos, have a little more trust to your boyfriend, little miss, he is the God of Thunder after all"
His words mix with a bit of Authority make Jane let go of him instinctively but still worriedly look at Thor direction.
Although confused by Jay but looking at the Destroyer in front of himself, Thor came to an understanding of himself.
The Destroyer was too strong for anyone to beat, if this carry on then countless lives will be in danger and all because of himself and his selfish actions for his own pride.
As if steeling himself in face of death, Thor look straight into the Destroyer face, his gaze as if reaching across space and stare right into Loki as if the two was standing face to face.

"Loki, if you want my life then so be it but let the others go, they have no parts in this."
At SHIELD base far away, Mjolnir sitting quietly began to tremble and when Thor close his eyes in resignation it flew out of the base, much to Fury frustration and helplessness.
Loki sitting on the throne of Asgard began to control the Destroyer, just when the heat ray about to blast open right into Thor face.
A sonic boom rang out from the sky above, then Mjolnir flew down right into Thor hand causing a blast of lightning blowing the Destroyer away and knocking it to the ground.
Thor, who have regain control of his power, have changed his looks, doning a metallic shiny armor and a red cape, his look and aura of a God appear as if come out of a painting.
Holding on the strap at the end of Mjolnir, Thor rapidly spin it generating so much wind that it form a hurricane lifting the Destroyer up in the air.
And Thor fly up high in the sky charge his hammer with lightning from the sky before finally swing the hammer down on the armor. It tried to escape but no matter how hard it struggle the Destroyer was no different from a leaf in a storm and was instantly destroyed.
Flyiing down down, Thor stand in front of Jay.
"Thank you, Prophet if it was not for you I would not have realize the importance and error of my action, you have my deepest gratitude." he spoke sincerely, Jay just awkwardly nod.
What else can he do? Say that he want to see what happen if he throw Thor?
Please, if he said that then a hammer would be flying toward him and not the Destroyer.
Thor then regroup with Sif and the Warrior three, kissing Jane and making promises to bring her to Asgard next time, much to Sif jealous eyes.
Jay didn't really care about Thor and the situation of Asgard though as his action was not enough to change much, so the plot will happen as planned.
His attention was on another thing though, the Destroyer armor. Standing in front of the broken parts he whispered.
"Arise"
