On another side of the battlefield, a mother is running while holding her daughter and protecting the child from falling above debris but suddenly an alien glider is struck down by lightning from the sky above causing it to fall down in front of the running woman. The Chitauri riding was cursing his own luck, who does it have to be me that got sent on the frontline?! I remembering that I sent my application form to the cleaning department and not the struck by lightning as soon as I went through a portal department, god damns it!

When the Chitauri was stomping the ground in frustration the little girl hugging her mom to unconsciously let out a scare yelp which attract the alien attention, turning it head toward the frighten mother and daughter pair the Chitauri pick up it fallen weapon and prepare to fire it and exterminate the indigenous species.

The mother although scare and despair still took one final gamble as she stood in front of the alien, trying to protect her daughter with everything she have, as the energy laser shoot at the pair, the mother close her eyes, praying that God would at least let her daughter live.

But the pain never came and when she opens her eyes, what stood in front of her is a feminine figure clad in silver armor holding a dark circular shield absorbing the energy blast before swing the shield and sending the energy blast at him, she then pull out a sword hilt which create a blade of light and rush forth, slashing at the Chitauri, killing him.

After doing that, Charlotte put her hand against her chest to calm her madly beating heart, even after training with Jay and some of his Shadows several time already but this is still a first time for her to face with a real enemy that try to kill her for real, it is a surprise that she have not thrown up already.

When she was calm down from above a flying chariot was heading toward her, but unfortunately for them, they are nothing more than a mantis that stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind them. Or rather the Altaria as when they try to aim a shadow loom over them then a pair of sharp talon grabs them by the neck before throwing them off the chariot.

Altaria then flew down next to Charlotte and affectionately rub its head on her face, wishing to be praised which causing Charlotte to chuckle before turning to help the pair of mother and daughter to get to safety.

What Charlotte does not know that with her at the center in a 500 meter radius there are very few Chitauri around as a group of Shadow soldier quickly dispatches any large cluster of enemies while another one is tailing her and dispose any enemies that try to ambush her.

When Thor came to Earth in order to look for his brother, Odin also task him with bringing some weapon to Jay as promise, the Sword of Dawn, able create a blade of pure light energies or in simple terms a light saber and the Shield of Midnight, able to absorb the energies behind the attack and reflect it back at the enemies.

And even though he was hesitant Jay still let Charlotte to participate in the war, well he did also sent a bunch of Shadows as body guard though, to let her have some combat experience. After she done sending the mother and daughter to the nearby improvise military barricade Charlotte look up at the blonde figure floating on the sky, she was in awe and also somewhat embarrassed at her lover’s action.

“Gate of Babylon!”

His shout as if contain magic in them spread across the city and on cue countless golden ripple then appear out of mid-air and from them countless weapon, axe, sword, spear, dagger, halberd and in the eyes of onlooker below it was as if they are seeing a golden city fill with weapon aim at the enemies …. The weapon then shoots out like a rain of bullet.

The weapons each worthy of being a Noble Phantasm on their own kill numerous Chitauri on the ground, decimating the alien army , even the Leviathan despite its massive size was also fill with hole and wound ,dying from a thousand cuts.

This one move cause shock across the battlefield on both side as the atmosphere stagnant at the sudden change in the tide of the war. People look up in the sky, where one man float there arrogantly as if looking down on the whole world, Jay’s normal clothing have been replaced with a golden armor leaving only his head now blonde instead of the usual black, due to a magic item.

He then gaze up at the portal up in the sky, a small ripple appear in front of him, reaching inside and pull out a sword like weapon but instead of a blade it is made of three cylindrical shape section with a black color scheme with numerous blood red rune engrave on it.

“I shall offer this one strike as the ceremony of separation!"

"I speak of the beginning. Heaven and earth are divided and nothingness celebrates Creation. My Sword of Rupture rends the world apart."

"The vortex that turns the stars, this heavenly hell signifies the end of the eve of genesis. Subside with death!"

"Enuma Elish!”

With his shout, the three sections on the cylindrical sword then began to spin rapidly, creating a massive red energy tornado. Down below the traction force from the sword was so large that some debris got pull into it while people have to hang on to something in order to not get suck away, Tony who was looking at this sight ask his A.I assistant.

“Jarvis, get me a reading on this”

“Calculating… The energy is immeasurable with the available technology; a rough estimation of it would be equal to the power of several nuclear warheads at least. I advise that we took safety measure immediately”

“Holy sh-”

And in front of thousands of watching eye, Jay thrust Ea toward the portal.

On the other side , seeing the giant red energy vortex coming toward them the Chitauri scramble to deploy their defensive measure, but the energy shield and ship armor when face with Ea attack was nothing but paper as they were shred into pieces.

Hundreds of thousands Chitauri and several hundred Leviathan was destroyed completely, leaving nothing alive and the Chitauri commander on the mother ship close his eyes in despair before being engulf in the same red energy storm and losing his conscious forever.

“Agent Romanoff, I suggest you close the portal before some debris fell down”

Back on the tower of the Stark building , Natasha snaps out of her shock and push Loki scepter in to the barrier and knocking the Tesseract out of the device, closing the portal.

With that, the New York war came to an end.
