“Papa..?” Jay muttered in shock as he tries to comprehend what is happening, various thought flash through his head, papa? Then who is mama? We only did it on safe days only though? My daughter is cute like this?
Jay slaps himself out of the confusing thought and gathers his bearing and grabs the girl's shoulder trying to pull her away from him, the two soft feelings are rather distracting for a healthy young man such as him.
“Can you let go of me please Miss Frankenstein?”
The one who is hugging him is the Berserker Servant, Frankenstein, the artificial life created by Victor Frankenstein in Mary Shelley's novel "Frankenstein: or the Modern Prometheus". On the side, Da Vinci observes Jay's interaction with Fran with great interest.
“So you can truly see other True Name with those eyes of yours, how fascinating, would you like to part take in a few experiments?”
“I will decline, being a lab rat does not sound like fun at all, also can you please help me and not just stand there and watch!” an instant rejection follow suit by an instant cry for help but Da Vinci and Tony just shrug not caring for his plead.
“Kid, you should learn to take responsibility for your action, it is a step that anyone would take in the path to adulthood” Tony on the side shows a look of ‘an elder teaching the younger generation’ and sagely advises him.
“Shut it you pervert old man!”
“Hey! Who are you calling a pervert and I’m still in my thirties you know!”
Feeling that he won’t be able to get any help from them Jay to put more strength into his hand to try and force Fran to let go of her death grip, but as he uses more strength Fran also did the same. On one side is someone with Kryptonian bloodline and regularly take sunbath, on the other side is a Berserker Servant, a class known for their extreme brute strength in exchange for their sanity.

Two of such being is in a deadlock, one tries to hug and one try to get not hugged, as their mortal battle wage on the force exerted by the pair began to cause spider web crack on the floor with them at the epicenter. Feeling that the ground they stand on is beginning to sink down Tony yells at them to stop but the pair was too self-absorb to listen to his words, Da Vinci also tries to make some quick magic enhancement on the floor but it was too late.
Just when the floor was about to give in due to the pair fighting, the elevator near them open to reveal Banner taking a bite off his sandwich and carrying a bag with some other food. Seeing the sight in front of him banner drop the bag in hand and quickly shout out.
“That is enough! Stop right now, Frankenstein!”
His words cause Fran to stop her action before reluctantly let go of Jay and taking several steps back but her gaze filled with many different is still fixated on his body, not giving just yet. Banner takes a sigh of relief before picking up the bag of food that he just drops and walks in front of his Servant, Fran thought she was about to get berated but Banner just put his hand on her head and rub it, much to her surprised.
“I don’t know what you are trying to do but don’t try to be so reckless okay?”
While he only summon her as a Servant just last night but after spend several hours trying to talk with her, he somewhat gets to know of her situation, brought to life by a man for his own selfish desire but then branded a failure and disassembled, before being abandoned completely by the very same man that create her.
The feeling of being calls a monster, getting chased and looks at with eyes filled with nothing but disgust and fear, that feeling is something that he too feels every day since that gamma experiment. Both just want to be understood, want to be normal yet the people around treat them as nothing but monster so Banner sympathizes with her and has managed to come to an understanding with each other as Master and Servant.

“You making it sound as if facing me is something dangerous” Jay on the side speaks up in indignation.
“Aren’t you the guy that destroys an entire alien fleet on your own?” Tony rolls his eyes on the side
“…”
‘I’m just a harmless kitten on the inside! A pacifist! It’s them that try to invade my happy normal life, not the opposite, god damn it!’ Or so he shouts with much frustration in his heart but none of the people or Servant here can read inner voice so his cries were nothing but vain effort.
After some cleaning up of his battlefield with Fran using his particle manipulation, Jay sits down with Banner and Fran sitting on his left while on his right is Tony and Da Vinci, three Master and two Servants. Annoyed by her constant staring Jay decides to speak up first.
“So what does little Miss Berserker here want from me so bad? This is the first time that I meet you if I’m not mistaken”
He does not immediately respond but after a moment of silence and some grunt, she softly answers his question.
“Sm…ell… like… papa”
Her words cause Jay to tilt his head in confusion trying to make sense of what she meant, he smells like Victor Frankenstein? Did he use the same soap that Victor did in the 18th century? Did that damn door to door salesman lie to him!? That bastard!
As he was cursing the shady looking guy that sells him the soap last week, Da Vinci sitting on the make a look as if she just realize something and point at the space behind Jay.
“I think what she meant is that dark power in your shadow”
Jay frowns before summoning a Shadow Spartan soldier next to him to look at Fran's expression, she stares intensely at the Shadow but in the end, shook her head sideways and sadly muttered.
“Not… the…same”
Jay shrug, already guessing such a result, while they are both technically a sort of undead, Frankenstein is still fundamentally different from a Shadow, which has no incorporeal body and exists more as a manifestation of energy.
“Well, don’t be so disappointed, it a vast world out there, plenty of fish in the sea” he comforts her, but he is also somewhat serious, this is a Marvel universe, it would not be that surprising to suddenly have zombies or the like. Hell, ever since the system informs him about the world integration process, Jay has been having nightmare of what horrible world got incorporate into this one, maybe the next one would be The Walking Dead.
While he was lost in his worrying thought, Fran seems to be sad as she hung her down and groan slightly as if a depressed person with Banner looking at her with worry but after a while, Fran snap her head back up and glare at Jay with a burning passion. Standing up, she points her finger at Jay's face and despite her Mad Enhancement skill severely limiting her speaking ability Frankenstein still declares loud and clear in front of all those present.
“Be my mate!”
Jay spit out his drink on Tony's face.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Life of a Core
After a disembodied voice had told him he was what amounted to an exceptionally talented rock, it had been hard to not let it go to his non-existent head. Until, random chance had decided to give him a square kick in the minerals. Which had in turn forced him to fend for himself in an unknown land, all while he attempted to make sense of his place in the world. Truthfully though, all he had really wanted to do from the start had been to bury himself a hundred feet below the ground and be left to his own devices. Yet, for one reason or another, nobody ever seemed willing to leave the dungeon-building core alone long enough to actually make one. Each chapter will average around two to three thousand words, the release schedule is still a WIP but you should expect the first six chapters to be released over the next six days. This is planned out as a dungeon building fiction, but don't expect it right off the bat! The story is a depiction of the everyday adventures (alongside an overarching plot) of what I imagine a dungeon core would experience when thrust into a random environment where everything and everyone tried to covet or eat him. I also really enjoy reading the comments and reviews people leave and would love to get some reader involvement with the story itself, likely through polls at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy my story! (If you feel like some of the characters seem familiar, you may have read some older work I wrote a while back under a different account. If you happen to be one of my old readers and recognize the similarities, I'm happy to have you back!)
