-I like the blue one.
I was surrounded by dresses and shoes. They had such a great stores.
-do you like that dress? The yellow one.
-yes it really suits you princess.
-I didn’t mean for myself. I want to buy it for you.
-oh no I don’t need a dress.
-shh! It's an order. Choose whatever you want.
-I want to buy this necklace for aunt flora, what do you think of it?
-it matches with her green eyes. It's beautiful.
I was excited cause I was buying beautiful stuffs but something was missing. Charles seemed nervous. He was pacing back and forth all the time. I needed that funny and kind Charles.
We visited everywhere and bought lots of things. It was almost afternoon when we went back to palace.
-thank you prince. I had the time of my life.
He smiled and said:
-I'm glad you liked our island.
It's good to see him smiling.
Audra and I went in my room and wore all the clothes. We tried all the jewelries and gowns till evening.
We both fell asleep after dinner in my bed. I spent the night with nightmares. I was running and gasping. Something black was behind me and was screaming: this dagger is for you, go and kill them. I was so scared but I stopped and looked back. I wasn't scared anymore.
who was i trying to kill?
..........................
-good morning princess. Are you ready? Everyone is waiting for you.
-what for?
-oh my God. I forgot to tell you. Your wedding dress is almost ready. You need to wear it.
-what? They chose the dress and didn’t even ask about my opinion. My mom is driving me crazy.
-I've seen it. It's very beautiful. you'll like it for sure.
-I feel weird. I'm excited and angry at the same time.
-I'm so glad that you're fine. I was scared of the things you could do but you're fine now.
I hugged her.
-you helped me so much. Thank you for always supporting me.
I was truly happy for minutes. I was happy to have her by my side.
I said good morning while I was blushing.
Charles' mother said:
-good morning darling! Please wear the dress. we can't wait to see it.

I saw the dress. my mouth fell open. Audra was right. It looks like dresses in fairy tales. The pink and blue flowers on it reminded me of aunt flora. I wish she was here.
Audra said:
-you look like a fairy in this dress.
-whoever chose this dress is very stylish.
Audra helped me and I wore the dress. I walked through the room. everyone praised me.
-oh my little daughter! You look like a fairy.
My mother started to cry again.
I looked at the mirror. For a second I was happy. Maybe I'm doing the right thing.
Maybe he's the perfect one for me.
Maybe I will be happy with him.
.................
I was looking for an excuse to talk to him.
-I miss him. I think I'm going crazy. How can I talk to him?
-you don’t need an excuse. He's kinda your husband. You can talk to him whenever you want.
-you know…
I hesitated.
-he's changed. I feel like he's scared to talk to me. He finishes all the conversations very quickly.
-I don’t think so. He's just the same.
-what if he doesn’t want to marry me? What If he hates me?
-no one can hate you. You're our lovely princess. Go talk to him. I guess he will tell you the problem.
I knocked his door nervously. He opened the door immediately like he was waiting for someone but he seemed shocked to see me there.
-good morning! Do you have a plan for today?
-oh I don’t think so. Do you want to go anywhere?
-umm… your library. We can talk and read some books.
-sure. Just wait a minute please.
He put a notebook on his desk and put another book on it. I guess it's something private like diary.
He explained all the book genres for me. I wasn’t paying attention to the words, just staring at him. I wanted to sit and watch him talking.
-so… which one do you want to read?
Since I wasn’t listening I chose a random book.
-this one.
-it's so heartbreaking. I couldn’t read it twice.
-it's fine. I want to read it.
-so I leave, you can read it in silence.
-no! wait. Can we just talk?

-sure. What about?
-I don’t know. I just need to talk to someone.
I knew he didn’t want to but accepted it.
I talked about my interests, my childhood, my favorite places and… he was smiling all the time and said a few things about himself. I didn’t care, just wanted to see him in a chair in front of me , smiling and looking at me.
Time passed quickly. It's always like this. Time flies when you're happy but it stops in sad times. I had to say goodbye. I walked in halls thinking about what he said and reviewing all the conversations. Time went on but I was still in my dreams staring at the ceiling.
Someone knocked the door. It was probably Audra.
-come in Audra.
-the ball is tonight. Are you ready?
Oh I almost forgot that!
-yes I'm ready! But I haven't chosen what to wear.
-umm… the white one is perfect.
-yes I like that one. Can you help me with my hair?
We spent one hour getting ready and talking. I wanted to look more beautiful than any other girl in the ball room.
-you know that you're gonna dance with prince. Don't step on his foot.
-I've never stepped on anybody's foot. I'm a professional.
-but you did it when you were practicing with me.
-that was my first attempt!
Audra wore the dress I bought for her. I didn’t want anyone to call her maid. She was so happy, that was enough for me.
We walked through halls. I was wondering what must it be like to dance with him?
I saw the guests. There was a lot of pretty girls there.
-why all of the girls are pretty?
-wait what? Are you jealous?
-I think so.
-you're better than all of them. He wont look at them.
I'm the reason of this ball. I should shine between them. But it's okay if I'm not the best. I just want to spend the night with him.
I was looking for Charles all the time. he wasn’t there. The girls were looking at me then whispering something.
-Audra you have to dance with someone. I want to wait here.
-I will wait with you, there's plenty of time for dancing.
He entered the hall. Someone introduced him.
-oh there he is. Go stand by his side. I will sit here.
I don’t wanted to go first cause they were whispering about me.
He saw me and walked toward me.
-he read my mind again.
He smiled and said:
-you look beautiful tonight.
I couldn’t help but to smile.
-shall we dance?
-sure.
Everyone was watching and I was blushing. The moment he touched my hand everything stopped. It felt like we're alone in that hall, just me and him. I almost forgot my anxiety. We were shining in center of the hall. I could feel that they were jealous of me.
-when did you buy this dress? it's so nice.
-when we were in that huge shop in city. You weren’t paying attention to us.
-what was I doing?
-talking nervously with Tim.
-oh… yes.
His expression changed. I could see the sadness in his eyes. He wanted to say something but couldn’t and I was dying to know it but I preferred not to hear it cause I was afraid of it.
He wasn’t looking at me anymore. Who is he looking at?
I wanted just to enjoy the dance but I wasn’t excited anymore. Girls can die from lack of attention and I was being ignored too. I wanted to shout! Look at me! Don’t think about anyone else!
Everyone knows that he's such a perfect man and he wont think about someone else while I'm his fiancée. I'm just being negative now. He loves me. He's just busy now that’s why he's thinking too much.
We walked in garden after dance. I wanted to hear that he loves me. It was the perfect time for it. He didn’t say it but I wanted to confess. I wanted to say that I love him and he's the first man I've ever loved but I was afraid of his answer so I kept my mouth shut.
I thought that this ball will be one of the best nights in my life but it became one of the worst ones.
