Gisei's POV
I walked back to the room where we all three used to sleep. I stopped in front of the door, weighing the options, on whether I should knock or not. I finally decided to lift my fist and knock on the door. "Come in" I hear my dad say, as I open the door and walk inside, closing the door behind me.
"...How you holding up...? I whisper, looking at my dad.
He shrugs, "don't know really..."
I slowly walked to the bed , climbing up onto it, sitting on the bed,"...I don't know about you, but I heard him."
"You heard him too?" My dad asks, in a whisper.
I nod, "the tune as well?"
"Yea."
I fiddle with my fingers "what now?" I ask.
"I don't know" dad mutters, pulling me onto the bed.
I clench my dad's shirt, biting my lower lip "...it...it feels...empty," I say softly, leaning close to my dad's chest.
"I know," my dad whispers, holding me close, and rubbing my back softly, "I know."
I close my eyes, hugging my dad, burying my face in his chest, I look at him and whisper "let's stick together ok?"
"Of course," my dad whispers.
Shoto's POV
"I should walk around." I sigh, standing up. The mansion was eerily quiet, as I threw a coat over my pajamas, stuffing my hands in my pockets, I let my feet guide me to wherever they wanted me to go. I ended up in the library, running my fingers along the divergent series, Noya's favorite series, tears running down my face as I remember the first day I saw her reading this series. She was sitting at a table reading the book, when I sat down in front of her, asking her what it was about. When she told me what it was about, I remember being glad I haven't read it yet. It ended up being really sad, and this was her favorite series to read. I opened one of the books, and a note fell out of it, the note read 'To Sho, if I'm ever to die, please remember don't let it control your life. Live your life to the fullest, and please find happiness again. I'm leaving you this note, because I'm leaving to go back to Korea with Candy, and I don't know when you'll find this note, or even if you'll ever find it. I'm sorry for what I'm doing, I just need a break. I love you Sho, and I will come back...I just don't know when. -Noya.'

I drop to my knees, clutching the note to my chest, sobs leave my bod, the words 'I will come back, I just don't know when' rang through my head, knowing that now at this point in time, she'll never come back. The library was quiet other than my sobs.
Dokuro's POV
Kiwata and I were sitting with Zagae in his crib. He was sitting in his crib, looking around the living room, and cooing. I go over to his crib, and pick him up out of his crib, and he smiles. "Hey buddy," I whisper, as I pick him up. He holds onto my shirt, looking straight into my eyes, a small smile forming on his face. I bounced him, as he babbels, as if he's trying to say something.
I sat down on the couch beside Kiwata, as Zagae rested his head on my shoulder. Zagae looks around, looking for someone. "Are you looking for daddy?" I suggest. He coos, and suddenly looks back at me. I take that as a yes, and stand up, walking around, looking for daddy. I decided to look in the library, since I had a feeling that he was there. Zagae started to clap his hands, and I smiled. "Daddy?" I call out, as I walk into the library.
He quickly shot up, wiping his tears, sniffling slightly, he walked over to my "hey princess." Zagae coos, reaching for his dad when he's see's he's sad. "...Was I loud...?" He asks, me. His cheeks turned red.
"No, I didn't hear anything," I responded.
Daddy nods, clearing his throat, "is something wrong princess?" He asks, moving to keep the books he pulled out, and flipped through them.
"Zagae wanted you," I responded.
Daddy nodded and smiled, "why don't we sit on the bean bag together?" I nod, and sit down on the bean bag with Zagae in my arms, he was looking around the library, and his eyes were filled with wonder. It made me happy that Zagae seemed to like the library. Daddy sat down beside us with a children's book in hand. "How are you holding up?" He asks, as he flips through the childrens book. I just look down and shrug, not really sure how to answer. Daddy leans back, "...is it just me or, is the library colder...?" Daddy whispers.
I nod, "I know what you mean" I mutter, tears falling down my face. Zagae looked at me, and saw I was crying, so he lifted a hand up, frowning, as he gently placed it on my tear stained cheek. I chuckle a sad sob,and play with his hands a bit. Daddy moved the book to his side, lifting me and Zagae up, placing us on his lap, and hugged us. "I really miss mommy!" I sob. Zagae coos as he hugs daddy and I.

Daddy nods, "me too princess...me too" he says, and I could hear his voice wavering.
I hug my daddy tightly "I'm sorry for crying again."
Daddy shakes his head, rubbing my back "no, don't be sorry for crying" he sniffles. "It's ok to cry when you feel sad, crying doesn't make you weak." He whispers. "It's a way of showing how you feel," he pauses, tears still falling down his face "without using words," he finishes. I tighten my grip on Zagae, knowing he doesn't know what's going on. Daddy looked down, softly kissing me and Zagae on the head, silent tears were falling down his face. I held Zagae close, as I closed my eyes tightly. The three of us sat there, daddy and I, crying silent tears, and Zagae sitting there feeling sad, knowing something was wrong, but was too young to understand.
"Do you think we'll make it without mommy?" I ask, looking up at daddy.
Daddy nods, "we will." He whispers, "I'll do my best to raise our small family," he says, hugging us tighter.
"Zagae will never know mommy." I mutter, looking down.
Daddy nods, "we can tell him stories" he hums, "and show him pictures."
"But he'll never get to know her, know her," I mutter.
"I know princess, I know" he mumbles, placing a gentle kiss on my head.
"It makes me sad."
"Me too," daddy whispers.
I hugged him tightly "I love you daddy."
Daddy hugged me back, "I love you too, princess," he pauses, "and our little prince as well." Zagae coos, and taps our cheeks, wiping our tears in the process.
"Looks like we added a prince to the family," I chuckle.
Daddy hums, nodding, "well duh, you're all royalty in my eyes." I chuckle, and daddy grins , probably happy that he got me to laugh. Zagae coos louder and smiles. "Why don't we read the little prince here a book?" He suggests.
"Book." I mutter, "mommy loved books." I mutter, but look at daddy and Zagae "but let's read one, maybe it'll get Zagae into reading, when he gets older."
Daddy nods, and stands up, "I'll get one then." He pecks me on the forehead, and disappears behind some shelves. Zagae looks up, probably curious as to where his dad went.
"It's time for the best thing in the world... a book!" I exclaim, as I look at Zagae.
Daddy chuckles, sitting down with a few books in his hands, "I found the one's best fit for the prince's age. Don't wanna scare him...yeah?" He jokes.
"Yea," I chuckle, as I turn so that we're both facing daddy.
Daddy opens the first book, "this should be easy enough." He chuckles, and I look at the title too see what he chose, and it read 'the three little pigs.' As daddy reads the first line, Zagae's eyes light up, following the words and pictures. I smile as I sit there, holding him. After the book ended, daddy closed it, "how was it?" Zagae cooed, and clapped his hands, as best he could at his age, and I smile, glad he enjoyed it.
"I think he liked it," I giggle.
Daddy chuckles, "want another one?" Zagae coos, clapping his hands again.
"I think that's a yes," I giggle.
"Any suggestions?" Daddy asks.
"Uh, red riding hood?" I suggest. Daddy nods, and stands back up, walking to the shelf, and grabs the book titled 'little red riding hood.' I bounced Zagae as I waited for daddy to come back.
"That took a lot longer than I had hoped" he chuckles, sitting back down and opening the book. After the book is over, Zagae coos as his eyes start to droop.
"I think he's getting tired."
Daddy nods, should I take him? Or do you want to?"
"I can take him," I smile, standing up.
"Thanks, princess." I nod, and smile as I carry him to his crib, laying him down. He had already fallen asleep by this point. I go back to my room and lay down, thinking about mommy.
3rd POV
Shoto soon stepped out of the library, placing a hand on the wooden doors "until next time, my queen." He whispers, placing his forehead on the door, as a tear falls down his face.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
