Insanity:
Januray 11, 2030. Today Dylan starts his insane training. 6 days a week, Dylan has to start his training at 6am. At 6am, Dylan wakes up and eats breakfast. 6:15am, Dylan gets dressed and hydrates. 6:30am, Dylan starts with 300 push-ups. After push-ups, Dylan does 400 sit-ups. Then 100 squats with 350 pounds. A 3 mile run is up next. After Dylan's body workout, he eats lunch. Then it's time for a power workout. Dylan spends 1 hour using his hand to hand combat.[punches and kickes] Dylan then works on his power moves. He will spend an hour on galactic lazer, and then 1 hour using supernova burst. 1 hour working with eternal darkness. 1 hour with Gamma shield. Then Dylan eats dinner and Takes a shower. Dylan uses 2 hours to relax, then goes to bed.
War time:
Dylan has done that exact workout for the last 6 months. Today, Olypian instructed everybody to stay in their dorms. "The war had begun". All over the news, report on bombing from the galactic empire. Dylan knew this meant he could condront his dad. Dylan snuck out despit what his school said. Dylan's dad "john" was a few miles from the school. Dylan rushed over to Bens and informed him. Dylan was gonna face his dad, 1 on 1.

This is primarily a story exploring what it means to be human, using a lens of a hopefully real-feeling fantasy world. This story is not a power fantasy or a traditional Litrpg , while it has elements of these genres, it will focus on how these tropes would influence real people and possibly Redshirt will break some of these tropes along the way. There will be a variety of different characters and perspectives, some you hate, some you love, and some that will frustrate. Just as all people do. I don't believe there will be anything overly traumatic or explicit, but it's better to be safe than sorry. There will be some heavy topics explored, the characters views do not reflect the authors; however, if there is an issue in how I present/understand these issues please do tell me, and I will try my best to rectify it. The Order
The Order takes place within the Human-led Empire, within Glory City. In this Empire in which Magic is policed and its use is regulated, Mages are required to have a licence in order to practice Magic. The Magically inclined, Non-Human Races that have lived under Human rule lived a markedly different life to Humans, which had led to a somewhat contentious relationship. A law enforcement agency known as The Order is responsible for maintaining Magical order, and is also responsible for doling out justice to those who break the law. Consisting of the Magic using Mages, and the more technologically inclined Knights, these Agents are regarded as protectors by some, but as oppressors by many. The tale follows the exploits of Izano Zuko, a mysterious man, covered from head to toe in burn scars and wrapped in bandages. He arrives in Glory City with the backing of the City Lord, unknown abilities and secret intentions. Trouble starts up almost as soon as he arrives, and Zuko is thrown into a conflict between the Order and an unknown enemy. This is a complete book, and I plan to upload a chapter every week or so. No cover as yet.
