Scene 2 - Robbery at it’s finest

Fist on fist met head on clash between the two figures, soundwaves exploded outwards, pushing the golden ape leader and Rune apart from each other. Despite the realm advantage, the only damaged part of Rune’s body was her sleeve that was torn to shreds.

Eyes flashing with green mana a girlish figure appeared from behind Rune clothed in jesters clothing colored red and purple wearing a mask that had a half smiling and half frowning expression.

Rune’s weapon spirit was protecting her this was spirit materialization!

Despite not going through the ritual yet like her sister Len, it seemed like the spirit enjoyed the bloodshed and brutality. With a half grin, Rune whispered, “Let’s let loose Roko.”

Eye flashing a red demonic haze Roko hung around Rune’s body like a specter as they charged back into the fray against the ape. Instead of their first exchange, the exchanged dozens of fist against fist moving causing explosions in the air!

At this point in time, Rune’s other sleeve had already exploded away revealing the soft but firm muscle underneath. Th intense fight was felt throughout the room by the remaining apes and contestants making their hair stand on end.

Although thanks to her gloves and with Roke protecting her body from the impacts it was still hard to get an opening on the leader ape his fist technique was pretty good for a beast. Though at any time she could finish this fight with poison or fire she didn’t feel like it, after waiting to fight for so long it made her arms itch.

Making up her mind Rune thought to Roko while fighting, ‘Hey Roko can you catch one of his fists?’

In a mature woman's voice, Roko replied, ‘If that is your wish then yes I can.’

With the go-ahead Rune began to bait an opening by acting like she was getting weaker and weaker even fooling those watching into thinking she need help. Fake breathing heavily the ape swang wide with his right arm intending to smash Rune’s head into paste while her arms were low.

At this point in time, Diana had finished off her golden ape she was facing by piercing his stomach and twisting her greatswords opening a large hole severing the spine in a single action. Turning first to see how Rune was doing and seeing her savior even though was a bitch about to be beheaded yelled, “Watch out!”

Diana quickly rushed forward at this time hope to help block the ape's fist from smashing into her saviors head only to notice that she didn’t have enough time to reach her!

Hair hiding her eyes Rune smiled devilishly at the furious leader ape smashing at her with his fist with a small chuckle looked she looked him in the eyes confidently “Checkmate.”

*Smack*

What should have been Runes' brain matter spraying the wall instead was Roko’s hand catching the massive fist in her expanded palm. Taking this opening Rune turned her hand into a spear stabbing directly into the leader ape’s exposed throat!

Blood splashed upon her but Rune didn’t care about it, in fact, she liked the feeling of blood on her body it felt very welcoming as if it was natural, ‘Am I sociopath?’

With an absentmindedly thought as she tore out the leader apes throat she and shook her head slightly, ‘Nah I just wanna see the world burn, nothin wrong with that.’

Despite the mortal wound the leader ape bared its teeth full of its own blood and tried again to smash her to paste. Unfortunately for the leader ape Roku had reached out with her other hand and stopped it.

Using her free hand shoved Rune shoved it into the exposed throat cavity of the choking leader ape and tilted her head her eyes filled with a gentle expression, “You tried your best now >.”

Red mana flowed from Rune’s cores into her hand building a simple fire spell she had created which was simple, the more mana she added to the spell the hotter it would burn.

A fire started gushing forth in the ape's body expanding the throat passageway as the ape desperately tried to close his mouth from expanding only to fail. In horror Diana watched fire leak out from the ape's orifices, fire exiting its mouth and nose gushing tongues of fire as its eyes burned away with smoke coming out of its ears.

So almost thought she could hear the ape screaming, but then released it was already dead its brain burned to cinders. Yet despite it being her savior still continued to burn the apes body away all while having a gentle expression on her face that almost seemed demonically mystifying.

When all was said in done what remained of the ape's body was a skeleton body and a floating silver talisman. Finishing up with burning her victim to death Rune wiped her hands or her robe and tilted her head with a gentle smile make Diana’s blood to shudder coldly.

“Now that I’ve saved you, won’t you pay me? I think 75 percent of your talismans sound good enough what do you think.”

Diana's head went into a daze then opened her mouth, “What do you mean sa--”

Eye’s flashing an evil shade of green Rune summoned Wabu, Lubu with the snap of her fingers making the ex-princess back become drenched in sweat, “Oh? Do I have to take my commission by force?”

Deep in her heart, Diana felt much heartache, ‘She isn’t a savior she’s a devil!’
