Chapter 1

Summer September 1st, 4 Private Drive

It had been a long summer Alex z. had just returned from summer camp where he had learned how to start a fire, swim and cook, cooking was his favorite activity at camp Conda in the United kingdom.

Unfortunately while at camp conda Alex met a disastrous fate he had fallen in a dangerous situation. Alex had encountered a black dog that chased him around attacking Alex. A black dog ? That’s weird a black dog in the forest? Hmm very peculiar.

Alex wasn’t scared though he was calm especially for his age in fact ever since Alex was little he was always calm his parents thought it was weird and took him to a hospital but the doctors analysis was that he was perfectly healthy.

After the camps administrators decided that the kids should go home on account of “rabid dogs”.

As Alex returned to his home Alex’s mother was hysterically running to Alex she asked question after question. “Did that fowl dog bite you? Are you okay? If anything happens to you I don’t know what we would do?!” Alex’s mom asked, with each question she asked she became more restless. Alex gave a smile and lighty said “I’m fine mom.”, his mom sighed.

As she was about to ask another question Alex’s father came home from work. Alex’s father Jhon was very fit from working his construction job for twenty some odd years, he was a robust man not an inch of fat on his body he was the opposite of his mom she was dainty but beautiful, like a sunrise she was warm, caring she never scolded alex even when he wrote on the walls when he was 3.

“Tomorrow’s your birthday what do you want? It’s not everyday that you turn 11.” Jhon said with a grin on his face in fact he had already bought him a gift before coming home but not for his birthday. “Nothing really I already have you guys what more could I want” alex replied happily. But a soon as alex said anything Jhon pulled out a letter from his pocket and both his parents shouted

“Congratulations you’ve been accepted to Hogwarts!!” “I’ve been accepted?” Alex was curious “To what?” He followed. A man with grey hair and a tall stature came in from the bathroom.

As started as alex was he remained calm like a leaf on a river. “Hello” the man said, “My name is Albus Dumbledore”, “Hi” alex replied, “Please read your letter Mr. Alex” as alex began to read the letter that stated…

“Dear Mr. Z.

We are pleased to inform you…”

Finished reading the letter Alex thought to himself Magic is real ? It can’t be. Can it ? Alex’s mind was racing. Looking at the young wizard Dumbledore can knew that Alex couldn’t believe what Dumbledore was saying. “I can see you are a bit sceptical Alex please watch carefully” he graciously pulled his wand out and flicked it causing a light to appear.

Alex couldn’t believe it but it was irrefutable magic is real. “This is the lumos a charm thought at Hogwarts do you want to learn it” Alex nodded unable to say anything it was the first time he had ever lost his composure.

“Well today is the last day for registration at Hogwarts, we must get going I have already talked to your parents about your acceptance and Hogwarts they agreed as long as you agreed and that settles that” dumbledore solemnly chuckled.

“Can i..” As Alex was about to ask for permission his father interrupted and said “Go just give us a hug and take this gift I bought you don’t open it yet till your done getting your suplies, don’t forget the money for your supplies.” Jhon handed him a envelope with money inside as per

Dumbledore’s specification he had asked how much money Alex would need and in truth didn’t go to work in order to withdraw it from the bank and to buy his son his birthday gift. Dumbledore interrupted “We should hurry someone waiting for you he wanted to wait for you so you can enter on the same day.”

Alex hugged his parents and followed Dumbledore out the door and into a black car it wasn’t a magical car as were they were headed wasn’t farther than a five min car ride.

As soon as Alex opened the car door he saw someone familiar wearing glasses and a thunderbolt shaped scar on his forehead it was harry his friend they only played together a couple times throughout the year because the Dursleys wouldn’t allow him to leave the house so he would sneak out to play with Alex even though he was a year younger than him they played video games inside the Z. Residence.

” Are you a wizard too” Questioning harry “Yes, sorry I didn’t tell you were not supposed to do magic outside of Hogwarts.” Alex whispered to harry “Is that why you could open the door to my house when I got locked out my house?”.

Dumbledore driving the car pretended not to hear them. Arriving at Charing cross road “Here we are, the Leaky Cauldron, harry please show your friend were to get his supplies I’ll see you guys at Hogwarts” Dumbledore directed harry. “Yes Professor Dumbledore” replied Harry while exiting car.

As Alex began to read the letter Harry stopped Alex and said “ We should go exchange your money at Gringotts muggle money isn’t any good in the wizard world.” Alex nodded and followed harry along the way harry explained how short the goblins looked they had long ears long noses long nails and fingers everything about them was long except for their miniature stature.

After arriving at Gringotts Harry told him to go exchange his money by himself so that harry can go buy Alex’s other supplies such as His robes and clothes so that they can save time since today was Hogwarts first term begins today. After a troublesome exchange of money Alex made his way outside he didn’t see his friend Harry so he decided to wait.
