A little less than a week had passed since they departed, in a few days, they'd reach Ethereal Moon's harbor. Although there was actually a little more than 8,000 kilometers between the continents, the ships used to traverse continents were enchanted and boosted by magic to be faster. Although they were still made of wood, the ships could even crash into icebergs at full speed and come out with only a damaged body which could be repaired in a matter of days with normal methods and hours with magic.

Of course, crashing into an iceberg would still be very dangerous and would leave the ship stranded, that's why most ships have earth and water users as crew members and have a stockpile of mana potions which sell for fifteen silvers a piece while health potions sold for ten.

This of course, made the ships a great target for pirates. Just like the event now, the ship that Kai and everyone were in was stopped by two ships with pirate flags.

"Alright, hand over the potions and belongings of all the passengers or we kill everyone and take them by force!"

A woman with an eye patch over her eye had a cutlass pointed at Kai and the others. Behind her were women dressed in rough clothes and also held similar weapons, some held spears as well. The ship had several cannons on it and several cages had some men covered in wounds wearing tattered clothing. There was only one thing the men had in common, they were insanely handsome and the tattered clothing they wore were obviously well-made.

Seeing the men in cages and the flag, some of the passengers figured out who they were.

"They're the Sirens!"

"Sirens?!"

Hearing that name, most of the men on the ship panicked. Sirens was a pirate group comprised of girls of varying backgrounds, most of them were victims of nobles so people pitied them at first but over the years, it changed into a pirate group focused on killing and torturing men. The original members whose goal was to save women from the hands of corrupt nobles changed disappeared and were replaced by women who were confused by right and wrong.

"Our goal today isn't to kill you all, just hand over your valuables."

About ten of the women boarded the ship and held out bags. The women were still hesitant but every man on the ship threw in their valuables.

They went into the ship's cabins and when they went into the cabin where Kai's party stayed at, they were bewildered. Only Kai and Erina were in the room, resting on Erina's lap was Kai's head. She had a blissful look on her face as she rubbed Kai's head but to the others, it wasn't Erina, it was a woman with very beautiful features. Kai had the face of Kenji and wore commoner's clothes while Erina's normally ethereal face became easier to look at but to others, she was still a very beautiful woman you wouldn't find just anywhere. Her silver hair became an azure

"Hey, haven't you heard?! Give us your valuables!"

Erina seemed as if she didn't hear the woman and kept on blissfully stroking Kai's hair.

"Hey!"

The pirate inched closer to Erina and began to point her sword.

"So noisy."

Kai opened one of his eyes and saw the woman before blowing some wind on her face. To the woman, it was an insult but in the instant after it happened, a huge gust of wind sent the woman flying through the enchanted walls and into the sea. The loud noise attracted the pirates' attention and they rushed to Kai's room.

"Pirates?"

Date arrived to check the noise and saw the women in pirate's clothing.

"Date, can you please go take care of them?"

Erina saw him and asked.

"Alright."

Though Date was still bewildered, he unsheathed his sword and pointed it at the enemy.

"[Water Cannon]!"

"[Earth Wall]!"

One of the pirates stabbed her cutlass into the floor and raised a wall of earth but the wall didn't even last an instant before being pierced by the water which then sent the pirates flying into the sea. With that, every pirate that entered the ship was blown away and the captain was alerted as well.

"A mage?! Everyone, surround the offenders!"

The pirates began to board the civilian ship but before they could do so, Date appeared and stopped everyone with a wall of water that surrounded the ship.

"Date, destroy their flag and undress the captain."

"Eh?! Wait, Kai! Even if I said I'd do anything, I don't want to be called a deviant!"

Date was evidently flustered by the order but to the passengers surrounding him, he was a crazy man.

"Just do it or I'll make you go to the continent by foot."

"We're in the water!"

"Exactly."

Date shivered and pierced the flags, then he burst through the walls of water and attacked the captain.

"You idiot!"

The captain had a look of joy on her face and she quickly raised a spike of earth to pierce through Date but this kind of basic attack wouldn't do anything to Date, he used his sword to block and quickly moved closer to the captain. Then, his eyes sharpened as he stopped the sword right before it reached the captain's face.

"[Liquid Burst]."

A giant bubble of water appeared right at the tip of Date's sword and exploded. It launched like a cannon at the captain's face and sent her flying. Date's eyes narrowed as he looked at the captain who was blown away.

Before he could go to the captain, a spear was thrown at him so he had to dodge. He pointed his sword upwards and yelled.

"[Water Pillars]!"

The sea began to rumble and raised ten giant pillars of water to surround the two pirate ships. With a water source, it was far easier and cost less mana to use so he could maintain this for quite a while.

"Nobody move or I sink the ships."

The pirates were now cornered and alarmed, all of them wanted to point their weapons at Date but none of them dared to move. The strongest among them when it came to magic was C-class but Date was already at B-class and on top of that, he was tempered by Kai and the knights, they stood no chance against him.

To Kai's party, he may seem the weakest when compared to his peers but in truth, he was at the same level as everyone else but kept a low profile due to his personality.

Kei and Arata walked out to see the commotion what was about. Kei whistled in surprise as he saw all the pillars of water that surrounded them.

"You, strip."

Date told the captain in a cold tone.

"?!"

Arata and Kei's eyes widened. Even the passengers were shocked at his development. Seeing as how the captain wasn't complying, Date pointed the sword at her.

"Now."

The captain clicked her tongue and began removing her top and followed it up with the bottom. As she kept stripping, everyone's eyes widened because the woman was actually a man. Now that everyone looked closely, the captain's face changed and their was some type of ink on the floor, cosmetics most likely.

"Sirens is made up of men?!"

"Of course not, you idiot!"

One of the passengers smacked his friend in the head.

"They're obviously framing Sirens!"

Hearing that, everyone's mood felt cold, all of them knew about the Sirens and they fought for a just cause despite not being legal but their reputation plummeted in recent years, was it because of these men?

"A bunch of men faking to be women and attacking people... despicable."

Date stared at them with cold eyes before hopping back onto the ship.

"Sink."

The pirates' eyes widened but before they could react, the pillars of water rose even higher and then crashed down onto their ships. Even if their ships were sturdy, they still couldn't withstand the pressure and quickly got destroyed.

"AHH!"

The screams of the pirates was the last thing anyone heard before the pirate ships got destroyed.

"Captain, continue on."

"...Yes."

Date threw the bags of belongings at the crew members and went back into the cabin, Kei and Arata followed him soon after.

They went into Kai's room and was met with the sight of Kai still on Erina's lap.

"Hey, Kai, how did you know that they were impersonators?"

"It's just a coincidence, I actually wanted to strip the captain to see her body-"

Erina slammed her fist into his stomach which caused Kai to curve his body.

"Ugh..."

Anytime Erina hits Kai, it would always be accompanied by Eternal Frost to prevent Kai from healing.

"Alright, I've known about their operations for awhile but it's far too large-scale to be dealt with in just a short time, what we dealt right now is only the tip of the iceberg, they have an entire island of people. Though they aren't very strong, they have quite the threatening weapon, even I have to think twice of taking it on so I planned on blasting the island to bits but there are several problems with that... Anyway, you guys don't need to think about that now."

Kai waved his hand to make them go out of the room so he could go back to sleep.

A few more days passed and they finally arrived at the port of Ethereal Moon. To the passengers who were returning to their home in this continent, Date was a frightening mage and could match the kingdoms' best youth.

"Remember everyone, here, we have to keep a low profile as much as possible, give way when possible. As long as they don't cross our bottom line, do not mind them. None of our identities are allowed to be revealed, especially my identity as an S-class."

Although Kai hadn't told them a reason, they already trusted him wholeheartedly so following this order wasn't much of a problem. Amelia held Kai's sleeve while Erina held Amelia's free hand as they walked down from the ship. The members of Memento Mori that came along were only Arata, Kei, Date, and the girl who has hidden herself the entire time, Yoko. Umi and Natsumi couldn't leave because of their families and Kazuki, as the crown prince couldn't cross borders so easily.

Yoko vanished on the ship but it was safe to say that she was still with them because Kai chose not to do anything.

Their looks also changed, Kai became Kenji, Erina and Amelia changed their features and clothes, Erina's silver hair became an azure blue while Amelia's blonde hair became a fiery red, they both wore common clothes for this continent. The three on the other hand, only changed clothing because their faces weren't all that famous.

Not just their looks, their names were also changed, Kai adopted the name of Kenji, Erina was Mio, and Amelia was Rose. The other three adopted their normal names but changed all of their last names. It wasn't important that the continent didn't know of them, it was more important that their families weren't involved.

"Mio, until you finish taking the trial of water, you're not allowed to fight."

Erina grumbled at Kai's words but didn't complain. She was still mad at Kai for not telling her the reason for the trip but it was evident that Amelia had some history with this continent.

"Welcome to Ethereal Moon, travelers."

The captain of the ship personally stepped out to greet them, the captain was mostly speaking to Date though. Though they all wore ordinary clothes, they had an air about them that made it evident that none of them were normal people. Erina and Amelia's beauty were still a cut above the rest despite not being their usual selves. Not just them, Arata and the others were also very handsome for the continents' standards.

They only needed to hide their power, it didn't matter how the populace though of them, the vampires wouldn't care for nobles hiding among the common people, Date was only at B-class, none of the vampires would take notice of him right now.

Erina stepped forward and initiated the conversation, she was used to talking to others while hiding intentions, she was the daughter of a duke after all.

"This is our first time here, do you have any recommendations for inns?"

The captain pondered for a moment before answering.

"I recommend the Sheep's Wool over at the fountain, it's very famous but at this time of year, there aren't much customers, their beds are famous for being made up of the Wise Sheep's wool so they're insanely soft, enough to make you feel like you're laying down on the clouds."

The captain told all of them with a smile. Erina placed a hand on her chin before speaking once more.

"I take it that its reputation is good?"

"Very."

Erina gave the captain a smile that would smite any man before facing the rest of the group and gestured them to follow her. They were only a few steps away from the ship before Erina waved her hand to say goodbye to the captain. She then faced forward and said with a grim tone.

"He was lying."

Kai sighed.

"We just arrived and we've already been targeted by bandits, is this captain an idiot? Not even scared after Date's display..."

Kei, on the other hand, had a huge grin on his face.

"What's the harm? Let's just beat them all up."

"I guess that's the only choice, let's go then."

Kai gave up and stayed silent as they headed for the fountain in the port town.
