《Cold Heart(Cancelled)》Chapter One: His Name Is Caden Dahil

The chatter in the bus continued all through the road trip, it was pretty full so everyone felt cramped wherever they sat or stand, but this didn't overwhelm a boy who was squashed between two businessmen, he had dark green hair down to his neck, stood 5'9 feet and had dull neon green eyes.
His name is Caden Dahil, he is aged 15.
Even though he was squashed to the point he could die, it didn't stop him watching landscapes pass every street from inside the window.
He watched buildings get distant, watched passengers on the bus start disappearing on each bus stop, this relaxed Caden as he sat down in the middle of two chairs located in the front of the bus near the door.
After some more of driving, a large tungsten material wall came into view, the bus eventually stopped midway of driving down this longwall.
Caden threw himself off the chairs and stepped outside the bus, stopping to the sight of a ten feet gate.
He glanced around when he noticed there wasn't anyone to be seen.
When he found nobody to be around, he made a risky move and pushed open the gate.
It made a loud creaking noise, loud enough to alarm the whole school that sat sixteen feet away from Caden.
It opened to a massive hallway of floating boards explaining certain types of subjects and rules.
Approaching the glass door revealed some more about the enormous school, it seemed like a whole mansion, two stairs from Caden's point of view circled each other, stopping at the second floor which had male and female toilets and two cafeterias.
Baffled from what he was seeing made him scared when he was greeted from a feminine voice, he snapped his head at the voice, figuring it out to be a female in a work outfit.

"Caden Dahil?" She asked.
"Y-Yes, I am Caden Dahil" Caden answered, replying nervously.
"Nice to meet you, I am Ms Pace, the headmaster of Greenfield Supernatural High" Ms Pace introduced, shaking Caden's hand in the meantime.
Ms Pace toured Caden through a long hallway, the further they walked down the hallway, the more it became quieter and darker.
Then they addressed a corner where the light shone through, they swivelled the corner and there waited sixteen football length rooms.
"What's all this for?" Caden pleaded, covering his eyes from the burning light.
"This is the testing room where mutant students come and test out their powers" Ms Pace responded, pointing at a hand scan in the middle of all these sixteen rooms "Please stand up to the hand scan" Ms Pace instructed politely.
Caden listened, he stood up to the hand scan, dragged his arm upward and positioned it in the middle of the hand scan, seeing a rectangle box pop up with "Scanning" inside of it.
After waiting seconds, codes started invading the technology, flashing red colours each millisecond.
Ms Pace jumped up from her chair which was five feet away from the hand scan, staring at the error sign on the screen, confused on what she was seeing.
Ms Pace quickly glanced at Caden and back at the screen, hitting it slightly.
"Is something ok?" Caden asked worriedly.
"Ah-things are good, can you redo it again?" Ms Pace asked, sitting back in her chair all calm.
Caden removed his hand, getting the attention of a one-inch black ring on his index finger where a red light was seen at the bottom middle of the ring next to a small button.
"Forgot to turn it on" Caden whispered to himself, sounding cold behind the voice.

The red light turned green after Caden pressed the button next to it, he then again positioned his right hand on the hand scan, cancelling the sounds around him as he focused on his slow breathing.
He felt that weird tingling thing all around his body from the last time he tried the hand scan.
This tingling feeling felt like a snake slither its way from the back, all the way to the right shoulder and made its way down to the palm, sending a signal to the hand scan.
The word "Scanning" turned into a "Complete", being drowned by all the green that appeared straight afterwards.
" Powerless" appeared across Ms Pace's screen, she tapped along the table looking around, trying to hold back the laughter that showed up, trying to escape her mouth.
She hits her chest and cleared her throat, grabbing a tablet on the desk.
She strolled towards Caden, seeing a concerned face on his face, she then handed out the tablet to Caden, showing his progress.
A look of disappointment and anger was revealed on Caden's face, he gripped onto the tablet, nearly cracking the screen from blind rage.
"Now, now. No need to get angry, you may be powerless but you scored 95% on the test so you'll be sent to A-2 Class" Ms Pace said, trying her best calming Caden down.
[Class Entry]
Students in the A-2 went silent when the door opened, Caden revealed himself through the door and stood in front of the whole class, counting up twenty-four students split into seven sections of colour lines, Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple.
The Black section was in the North East of the class, having five Blacks.
The Red section was in the North Middle, having two Reds.
The Orange section was in the North West, having two Oranges.
The Yellow section was in the West, having three Yellows.
The Green section was in the South West, having four Greens.
The Blue section was in the Middle, having three Blues.
The Purple section was in the Southeast, having five Purples.
"My name is Caden Dahil, I don't have any powers. Nice to meet you all" Caden introduced himself, smiling politely.
Mixed reactions of Laughter and Gasps filled the room, some were sinister, some were surprised.
This is the beginning journey of Caden's journey in Greenfield Supernatural High.
Or to say.
My beginning in Greenfield Supernatural High journey.
To Be Continued....

Tome of Stealth [A System Anti-Apocalypse]
When the Passivity Precept takes over the world it snuffs out all brutality, leaving its MMO-like Violence Simulator as humanity's only source of physical violence. Knowing how much she can make from selling epic gear, Grace Winston enters the simulation and discovers that it's more than just a game. Somewhere in there are the answers to who started the fire that killed her father. For far too long, Lorevinel Silvercat has been stuck as the Ravenborn clan’s free-roaming prisoner. They’ve held a grudge against his clan and have used him to vent their hatred. Having planned his escape for several years, he has everything ready, but he needs a specific artifact from the Rogues Guild to finally start his journey. Will Grace find her answers? Will Lore gain his freedom? Can these two unlikely people, both alien to each other, find common ground and work together while dealing with an unasked for soul bond? ToS is a Lite LitRPG (meaning very few stats with a focus on story). Expect cursing, sexual tension, descriptions of breeding dungeon rats, and a little gore. TL;DR- The System Anti-Apocalypse forces everyone to be peaceful and only commit violence inside its Magical VR game.

The Simulations
After ascending from his last life to become a Champion our hero has his memories locked. He is told that he must compete in competitive simulations against other Champions in order to earn enough to continue to simulate his consciousness. The competitive simulations have a variety of scenario genres, and may or may not have a game interface. The first competitive simulation our hero faces is from the Summoned Hero/Traveller to a New World genre, and is set as Fantasy Realistic - no game interface. He must ensure that the person he chose in the simulation's setup survives the end of the world in order to win. Author's note: I'm committing to one arc of four books. The arc has its own complete storyline. And each book has its own individual storyline as well. Each book also has 60 chapters, for a total commitment of 240 chapters. I'm aiming for a release schedule of a chapter every 23 hours.

Michael, a simple server engineer, discovers a strange virus that came through his servers at work that contains various strange symbols and the phrase "It Has Begun". As Michael digs through the code of the virus, he discovers more about its origins but each answer only brings more questions and he begins to wonder if it's not a virus, but a message. Who sent this signal? Where did it come from? What does all of it mean? What has begun? Was this signal a warning of some kind? In a world of unrest, one can only hope that the message was not received too late... This story has indirect interactivity to it. The data's origins and the characters' approach to the signal are all based on real life interactions and how people would approach such a situation. Feel free to comment and theorize as to what the data is and where it came from; your discussions and theories will all be taken into account and affect the characters as they discover more about this mysterious data.
