《Cold Heart(Cancelled)》(V1)Chapter Twelve: The Once Tilted Queen Has Fallen

Raindrops standstill in the middle of the gloomy, dark sky, students down below frozen in their place as I glimpsed around, spotting tons of bullies getting caught by friends of Autumn.
Time speeds up to normal again, then a male voice is heard behind me, breaking my peaceful alone time.
"There you are" A male voice snickered, I searched for where the voice came from and it was Ian, he stood five feet away from me, close enough to push me off the edge of this school roof I'm standing on, "You think I will let you go scot-free?" Ian questioned.
"Of course, why are you so obsessed with me?" I instantly asked, facing him head-on.
"Obsessed-" He was interrupted when I zipped in front of him, as soon as he noticed I was very close to him, he staggered backwards in a scared tone "What the fuck?!" Ian screamed in confusion, shaking all over the place.
"Let's not have a conversation again, ok?" I replied, sending off a warning sign.
Ian ignoring the warnings, as usual, went to punch me, but my reactions kicked in leading to him unexpectedly levitating off the ground, struggling like a strangled victim.
"You had enough time to live," I said coldly, slamming him onto his back, fractionating some of his bones.
"Argh! W-Who the fuck are you?!" Ian groaned, aching badly.
"I'm me" I calmly answered, walking over to him, stomping my foot on his chest, watching him moan in more pain.
"G-Get off me or I will kill you!" Ian begged.
I stared into his fuzzy, swelling up eyes, seeing tears stream down his rough, beaten up skin before he started punching me in the shin, trying to shrug me off.
"You're really weak. Let's meet again, Ian" I asserted, seconds after bones were heard cracking in half with a faint sound of a grunt.

Next day visited me and I was in a shop market, buying some things so I could survive and not stave or be thirsty, I approached the counter and scanned my items, having a few seconds of starting with the shopkeeper, proceeding out of the shop where I met two students walked beside me, looking quite familiar.
They both looked at me, processed what they were seeing, and after processing what they were seeing they stopped me in my tracks with a beginner word for conversations or meetings.
"Wait, I know you from somewhere. Aren't you that friend Autumn used to hang out with?" The boy in the glasses greeted me with a question I didn't want to hear.
"I think so?" I answered.
"Nice seeing you around, I'm Rowan Ryder, a member of Travelling Galaxies" Rowan introduced himself, directing his hand into a handshake gesture.
"Rowan, I'm pretty sure you understand that this boy and Autumn had recently fallen out. So, leave him be" The girl beside Rowan announced, wearing glasses as well.
"That's the whole point, Faith. I want to know why" Rowan replied to Faith, giving her the thumb.
Not wanting to answer this question, I quickly teleported away on an opposite building while they were in a heated conversation, watching them seconds after looking around confused on where I vanished without their notice.
Why is everyone so curious about my and Autumn's relationship status? It's been a whole month since that incident, I guess it's because we had a close relationship but became enemies around each other after that Forest Punishment Experiment.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say this, the Travelling Galaxies Group has become quite popular from their tactics of taking down bullies, trying to make the school a better place while Autumn was busy with Luis George, doing professional work.

Now that I said it out, it makes me sound like a stalker.
Heading back into my dorm, I saw a massive crowd circle around somebody, I stood behind the crowd, looking through the gaps, seeing if they were anything happening that fought the interest of these curious students.
"Autumn, let's get you up," Liana's worried, sounding voice was heard from inside the crowd.
Looking in-between the gaps more, I spotted Autumn on the ground, badly bruised, seeming like she was either ambushed or lost in a fight for once in her lifetime.
"Did you see? Luis for some reason attacked Autumn after saying something at her that threw her off-guard" Voices chattered, murmuring since they didn't want to be heard.
"GET LOST!" Autumn screamed, scaring the crowds who all eventually scattered away with tails between their legs.
As more of the students scattered, I could hear Autumn slightly crying under her breath, some students locked eyes with me, noticing who I was as their faces changed into disgust like I did something against Autumn, clearly, it was Luis who did it.
More feet vanished from sight, making me await the closer look at Autumn, I could clearly see her now, she was bruised everywhere, had cuts in her skin and had parts of her hair pulled out, pouring blood.
Liana noticed me first as she narrowly poked Autumn in her shoulder, getting her attention, Autumn glanced at Liana, receiving a few words then slowly looked towards my direction, as long in shock when she learned it was me standing above her and not her standing above me.
Her eyes broadened, demonstrating that she was clearly taken back seeing me for the first time in a while, she started moving her hands toward me but paused immediately, yanking them back on her chest.
"I guess we can say the mighty, undefeated Queen has finally fallen to a selfish King" I greeted her, sounding colder than usual in my speech.
"Caden?" Liana suspected in a complicated manner.
"Why?" Autumn squeezed out.
"Oh, sorry Liana. The image you know about is completely fabricated" I spurted out, facing a confused Liana.
"Fabricated?" Liana quietly questioned, sounding betrayed.
"Why are you...here now?" Autumn squeezed out again, gaining my attention as I saw the wind brushing the hair out of Autumn's face, revealing her mixed emotions, shock and happiness reflected off the volcano, spitting sun.

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment.
