《Cold Heart(Cancelled)》(V2)Chapter Thirteen: Dead End

Exhausted, damaged breathing flew past my ears as I looked down on a hospital bed, watching Kayden struggle around, knowing that I was standing beside him, watching every move he made.
"What was all that about then?" I asked him, indicating the Forest Punishment incident.
"You still care about that shit? It's a month, get over it" Kayden groaned back for an answer.
I leaned closer to him, spitting white fire and white electricity from the tip of my fingers, closer enough to have Kayden harmed, as I moved my two fingers toward his face, he jolted backwards, shivering badly.
"Ok, don't cry like an imbecile bitch when I find out your family location surroundings and kill them to say "Get Over It" for your question in near future" I whispered in his ear, listening to his breathing inhale and exhale shake in fear, sweat revealed itself pouring from his forehead.
"S-Sorry—I will learn from my mistakes" Kayden cried.
"That's all you say? You're not really lucky since the school can unfavourably revive your regretted ass wipe of a person, meaning I can become a better psychopath than you and torture you like a play toy" I announced.
But as it was getting serious, the bell rang before I could do anything, I kept my stare on Kayden while making my escape from the hospital room, walking past a doctor who was up against the wall, looking like she heard everything.
Eventually arrived in my class, I ignored Autumn as she ignored me, but now and then Kaylee will glimpse at me, looking concerned or nervous to confront me.
After class ended, the door opened wide and far, revealing a curious Rowan, the person who he was scouting for was me, when he did notice me he zoomed over to my direction, lightly slamming his hand on my desk, looking dead straight into my eyes like a detective on their mission.

"Explain why you somehow disappeared from my sight" Rowan declared.
"Disappearing from your sight was pretty easy because you're too busy arguing with your twin sister" I calmly answered.
"Faith isn't my twin sister, she's Faith Rivera, I'm Rowan Ryder. Massive differences" Rowan replied.
"What a nice introduction" I sarcastically responded, thinking nothing of it.
"That wasn't- Stop trying to move away from my question," Rowan said, stopping himself halfway, reversing it back to his question he is so desperate to get an explanation from.
"I already gave you the answer. You two were too busy yapping so I made my move and dipped" I explained.
Ignoring the fact that Rowan was glaring at me the entire time, getting all the attention from inside the class, something else suddenly got their attention, also getting mine.
"Caden! There you are, I've been struggling to find what class you were in" A tired voice spoke loudly from behind Rowan.
Rowan stepped away from my sight, enabling me to see who this person was, Liam stood in the door, slightly bent over, grasping onto his knees with sweaty hands.
For some reason, I was a popular celebrity this morning.
Liam sauntered towards me, stopping beside Rowan, looking me down with a relieved expression in his face.
"I want to-" As Liam went to speak, I slowed down the entire world around me, placing my hand onto Liam's shoulder immediately afterwards.
Taken some time catching on what just happened, Liam glanced around in a panic mode, staring at all of the frozen, gawking students around him.
"I-Is this how you speedsters see things?" Liam abruptly questioned me.
"I guess so, vision is different depending on who the speedster is. Mine is blunt and dull" I answered.
"It must suck having to wait for someone to finish their sentences," Liam chuckled.

"No no, there's an on/off switch button. SuperSpeed is an extremely broken power in itself" I chattered "But please, don't thank me in public" I added, confusing Liam instantly.
"Why not? If people know who you are they will thank you" Liam asserted.
"Yes, they would know who I am but only the negative side of who I am. And anyway, I am not interested in my powers so I'm not revealing them to these people because it'll make me worldwide known and I don't want that" I explained perfectly.
"That's a fair point, this would be a perfect thing then since I heard rumours there is a Blue Teleporter causing trouble for our school as she started getting more violent lately on teachers," Liam said.
"Don't start making plans for me to be a saviour, I do what is needed, not when someone else wants it done" I denied.
Time sped up around us again and Liam just looked at me, I glanced around the class, catching Autumn peering directly at me, not looking away this time.
Students finished ogling and walked out of class since it ended in the first place, I made my way to the cafeteria, waiting behind a long massive line that was only Black Level Students only.
As I waited for the food, a hand was felt landing on my left shoulder getting my attention, I turned towards the person as fast as possible, learning it was Autumn standing very close.
She shook her hand off my shoulder after holding it there for quite a long time, she looked away and looked back at me, breathing deeply for a few times before moving onto something.
"Come with me now" Autumn demanded.
"For what reason should I?" I responded back with a question.
"For what reason? I will reveal what you have caused in front of everyone and show that you're the monster who damaged some of their innocent friends" She snarled in response "Knowing latest discussions in my Squad Room, I know you want to stay silent in the shadows, not wanting any massive attention" Autumn added, smirking what was clearly targeting me, not her being proud of herself.
Make your mind up, Autumn.
Choose to ignore me or have conversations with me.
Going back and forth like this would annoy any kind of person.
I guess I could say in human terms that I am very annoyed about Autumn's actions.
Not wanting the hatred on me, not wanting to make all the students enemies because some deluded students praise Autumn like a goddess.
I faced another Dead End.

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?
