She was too focused on gaining power, and the terrifying image of Lei Zetian in that dark torture room flashed in her mind again. It was this traumatizing image that made a deep impression in her heart. At the tender age of fourteen, she had already accrued a mental demon. It wasn’t that she accepted her fate, it was that she felt she couldn’t change it. However, nothing in this world was absolute. If she got stronger, she could eventually surpass Lei Zetian for real, and perhaps she could really pay her back tenfold.
