Elements of Magic.
In Maltras (or at least in the countries with a developed magic education) it is known that people can produce phenomena that mimic those of nature.
The scholars of Eralgia, classify the phenomena into 7 elements:
-Fire
-Water
-Wind
-Earth
-Health (or healing)
-Thunder
-Darkness
A person with the ability to perform magic can only manipulate one element, without confirmed exceptions aside from legends.
There are debates about the existence of three other types, but an agreement about them being recognized has not been reached. And these elements are:
-Plant
-Body
-Death
The reason why total recognition is denied is because that those elements can only be used by monsters (for the three of them) or by an spirit protection (for the first two). And even, there is an element that no one has noticed its existence since its effects are similar to lightning, health and fire ... The Light element.
