Mira faced her palm toward the approaching Azards, which were all obviously made from infected monsters as they were as big as buildings, as she flew toward them. A wave of immaterial Diamond shot toward the Azard but the diamond broke when it hit them; had a way higher energy resistance than the Rank 7 Azards.

Regardless, Mira wasn’t worried; if this was before she became Rank 7 she would have retreated but now she had all her stats at Pinnacle rank so she knew that she could do more than rely on her Diamond’s natural properties.

The broken Diamonds returned to Mira as a 1 kilometer long whip of brightly shining Diamond formed in hand. She stopped her flight, drew her hand back and cracked the whip toward the Azards.

Supported by Mira’s strength and agility the whip passed through the bodies of the Rank 8 Azards but was unable to go deeply into the bodies of the Rank 9s. The Diamond had precisely gone for the vital organs of the monsters without Mira controlling them to do that specifically.

On seeing this the Azards hastily stopped their charge; they assumed that since Mira was a Rank 7 they would be able to completely overwhelm her since that was how it worked for monsters. But with the whip entering their bodies they knew that their understanding of humans was flawed.

Sadly the Diamonds in their body exploded before they could full stop their charge leaving the Rank 8 Azards dead and the Rank 9 Azards severely wounded. Mira’s smile widened as she thought ‘That’s more like it!’

5 Rank 10 Azards dashed toward Mira. Seeing this Mira dashed toward them too, she knew she had to up her game and the danger of facing Ranks of monsters she never fought before pushed Mira’s High Human genes to grow faster.

Mira shot toward the Azards faster than she ever did before with Shooting Star. She left herself to her instincts and punched a Rank 10 Azard in the face. The other Rank 10 Azards weren’t slacking as they peppered Mira with their attacks.

Tentacles enhanced by aura, claws enhanced by a form of energy that resembled water, Aura enhanced plasma bombs and a punch that sent vibrations landed on Mira’s Diamond armor. The armor cracked under the assault as Mira’s punch only pushed the head of the insect type Azard to the side.

She didn’t bother addressing the attacks that were about to hit her again from the other 4 Rank 10 Azards as white flames burst from her eyes and lines of white flames extended from her eyes to cover her whole armor forming various patterns.

Time slowed down in Mira’s senses as she thought ‘Cheers to those that are gone. Cheers to those that remain. Supernova!’

A ball of white flames extended from Mira’s armor engulfing the Rank 10 Azards and a large volume of space after that. 5 white flame protrusions extended out of the white ball before a loud BANG rang out as the ball of white flames exploded.

The shockwaves from the explosion ripped apart the Rank 9 and 7 Azards that survived Mira’s previous assaults. Jake had to use his aura to protect Kenny, who was hanging on a black thread connecting to Jake’s foot to his back while camouflaging himself, from the shock waves.

The air that was touched by the white flames was ionized making the area affected by the explosion release plasma bolts outward. A massive earth quake happened which leveled all the buildings within 20 miles of the explosion including the shattered remains of the Pentagon. The entire state of Washington trembled under the assault of the quake.

It took 10 minutes for the plasma bolts to die down and 20 minutes before the quake died down. After the quake died down Jake saw Mira sitting down on the edge of the humongous crater the explosion caused which had a pool of lava at its base. Sparks of plasma randomly lit up in the area as Jake, standing on the platform of blue aura which he used to stay in the air throughout Mira’s battle, descended toward Mira.

Kenny had a look of disbelief, confusion and a hint of fear while thinking ‘She’s a monster’. He asked “Jake, could you have survived the explosion?” Jake smiled and said “No”. Kenny’s face became solemn when he heard the answer.

Mira saw them descend toward her through her drooping eyes; she looked like she could doze off at any moment. Although she was unharmed the explosion had taken more than just energy from her. She immediately slept when she saw that Jake was unharmed, she still couldn’t see Kenny.

{If you’ve tried to get to the Transcendent rank in any stat you’ll know that it isn’t an easy achievement. Many of you think that since I achieved Transcendence while being human I must know an easier way to get there. You’re wrong.

From what I’ve seen from other people who achieved Transcendence, everyone has their own personal path toward it. Copying someone else won’t help at all, although some people’s paths can be similar.

When I was training I trained with the goal of doing impossible kendo moves. So I first had to be able to do every possible kendo move and meet every possible record whether it was two sword style, one sword style, one hand style, two hand style, I aimed to be able to achieve all the humanly possible feats in those techniques…

But what I was aiming for was impossible; I couldn’t be good at everything. So I picked what I was good at and honed it for years to perfection and beyond perfection. If I had en-code at that time I may have been able to reduce the time needed to mere months.

When the apocalypse started I already had Transcendent stats. As a result I could kill Rank 4 and 5 monsters with a plasma blade even though such weapons do minimal damage to those creatures.

After I evolved I found out that my first goal was possible to me with the body and mind of a Tengu so I went on that path. World Weapon forms martial arts is the result of me going on this path only more expanded; trying to be perfect and beyond perfect at using every weapon in the world.

The path I’m going on might not lead to Transcendence. Many people realized that their martial path couldn’t lead them to surpassing their racial limits even though those paths gave them power.

As a sort of cultural gimmick, many people call the manifestation of Transcendent stats a different name from the usual. Names may not matter much to some people but it helps to know what the thing you’re aiming at looks like.

Stamina: Will

Durability: Immunity

Intelligence: Wisdom

Senses: Reality

Energy: Power

The essence of a Transcendent stat is that it removes the realistic limits from expression of the stat. That’s why reaching a Transcendent rank in any stat with any race grade is what separates the monsters from the strong. Even if you evolve to a higher race after reaching Transcendence, the benefits of the stat still remain.}
