Mira used Predator’s prey to see the abilities of the monsters Rank 10 and below in the Kingdom they were targeting. She was mostly looking for monsters with great senses. She wanted to get a trait that would allow her see through stealth monsters. Her sense stat was ok for now but she needed it to be better so that she could face stealth type monsters on her level.

They soon reached the territory of the Rank 23 King and all the monsters Mira had used Predator’s prey on were alerted. Their IPs said ‘You have been targeted by a Rank 10 Predator. The Predator is within 100 miles of you’. The territory of the Rank 23 King was a frozen waste land.

Mira took the Vanguard, she increased her heart beat rate and her temperature rose back to above 1000 degree Celsius after she thickened the layer of Diamond on her body. Her body turned bright red like heated metal again and her rock clothes turned to lava as she floated while waiting for the arrival of the monsters.

The horde of various monsters soon arrived, led by their King, the Rank 23 Snowflake Yeti. Mira thought ‘It has quite a humble name compared to its appearance’.

The Yeti was a 30 feet tall humanoid that looked like a cross between a gorilla and a human. It stood upright like a human but it was covered in thick white fur on top of its thick muscles. Its face was bare of fur and it had fangs like a gorilla. Its feet were straight and its foot resembled a gorilla’s with its finger like toes.

A 3 kilometer area around it was covered it swirling snow and hail with it at the center. On seeing Mira who had grown back to her full height it roared and sent a psychic message filled with the emotion of rage and killing intent. Mira smiled and said “It’s so cute!”

Around it were similar Yetis that were a few feet shorter than the Rank 23 Snowflake Yeti. They had the same race name and they were between Rank 20 and Rank 22. They also had appropriately sized snow storms swirling around them too. The only reason Mira could see their features through the snow was because of her superior eyesight.

The other monsters were at it sides completely covering the horizon. Each of them a different race, grouped together unlike the monsters behind Mira that were arranged in the proper position in the formation for their abilities and specialization to be more effective.

Mira smiled at the impending battle, she made a platform out of her force field under her feet and positioned herself for a lunge. Her muscles creaked and screeched like metal that was being flatten as she tightened them.

“BOOM!!!!”

She shot forward and supplemented the lunge by pushing herself in the air with the force field. Space bent around her and spewed her in front of the Rank 23 Snowflake Yeti as if it was disgusted by how fast she moved.

Mira had not expected this but she quickly adapted and threw a punch at the Yeti whose arms seemed to teleport in front of its head as it blocked the incoming punch like a boxer.

“BANG!!!!”

An unnatural sound rang out as Mira’s fist collided with the Yeti’s arms creating shockwaves and sending the Yeti sliding back as the flying Mira pushed. The perpetual snow storm around the Yeti was shattered as Mira completely removed the layer of diamond that contained her heat causing an explosion of light and heat.

The fur of the Yeti wasn’t burnt by the heat coming from Mira’s body and it didn’t suffer from the radiation that came off her. The Yeti finally managed to stop itself from sliding back by using its own force field and one of its legs whipped up as it tried to kick Mira.

The leg was way slower than its arms so it didn’t teleport and Mira easily dodged it by floating back and sideways. Her previous punch was poorly executed since she performed it hastily and couldn’t put her weight and force field behind it. She planned to do better this time.

She squared up her shoulders while the Yeti removed one of its hands from its face and pulled if back to perform a punch. The fist of the Yeti was fast and it moved towards Mira’s face while hers moved towards its blocking arm.

The Yeti’s fist was coated with ice as it traveled towards Mira. Both their fists simultaneously disappeared and appeared again extended closer to their targets.

“BOOM!!!!”

The Yeti’s fist struck a shield made of Diamond and broke through, losing some ice and momentum while Mira’s fist hit its defending arm.

Before the fist of the Yeti could reach Mira’s face it was sent sliding back by the punch that hit its arm even though it did all its best to stand. Mira nodded and thought ‘I’m stronger than it. But it is quite durable since its bones didn’t break. It will serve as a good punching bag. I’ll try some more things’.

“RAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!”

The Yeti roared in fury as it stopped itself from sliding back. Mira’s punches were separating it from its children and it didn’t want to leave them alone with Jake. The snow in the snow storm condensed on its body and the hail condensed on its feet and palms.

A thick and wide path way of ice formed on the ground and extended into the air. The Yeti used its force field to push itself to slide and skate on the growing ice path way while squaring its shoulders, ready to box Mira out of the way.

Mira on the other hand was completely awestruck as she thought ‘SO COOOOOOL!!! YOU’RE NOT A YETI FOR NO REASON!! I HAVE COOL TRICKS TOO!!!’ and giggled.

She lunged and flew towards the slide; she slowly increased her acceleration as a white flame covered her left arm. She looked at the white flame as she thought ‘So this is another way to use stamina’.

The white flame was the same one that covered her armor when she used super Nova before. It consumed stamina to create and it greatly amplified the effects of her attacks. The last time she used it she fainted as it cost all her stamina to use the little she used, but now that she had Grade 5 stamina, she didn’t even feel the pinch.

The Yeti slightly trembled. Not because of the cold snow covering its body but because of the danger its instincts warned it about. It knew, it must not make contact with those flames. Mira arrived before the sliding Yeti and threw her punch.

“BANG!!!!!!”

Surprisingly, she missed as the Yeti flexibly jumped up and spun to the left, dodging away from her punch like a professional ice skater. The shock wave still scattered the snow on the right side of the Yeti’s body and pushed it back a little as the air exploded as if it was running away from the punch and created a vacuum.

The effects didn’t stop there as the earth was gorged out in a line extending from Mira’s fist and the earth quaked, flattening the remnants of the buildings in the area. Mira pulled back her fist and looked at it in surprise as the earth trembled and the Yeti lost balance in the air while being blown away.

She thought ‘Isn’t this too much power? I wasn’t even trying!’ The Yeti quickly regained balance, created a floating ice path and slid away toward its children. It was too afraid of Mira now, it wanted to take its children and run.
