The combined effort of the Dragon and its ally was only able to give a few deep wounds to the Taotie compared the large amounts of wounds leaking copious amounts of blood and emitting plumes of steam, on the Dragon. The Dragon looked like a deranged beast, and in a sense it was, but it wasn’t as crazy as the Taotie.
The Dragon made some calculations and pulled of the equivalent of a smile with its battered face. A burst of white energy erupted from the Dragon’s body and the body of the Taotie gained a metallic luster and started vibrating.
Space became chaotic as shown by the shaking light around the bodies of the two creatures that were charging their last attacks. The both contracted the muscles of their hind legs for a while and as if by tacit agreement they shot toward each other. Space ripped apart and brought the creatures before each other… or so it should have been.
A third force joined the battle and it was not a monster. Three men and one woman, all Chinese, appeared underneath where the two monsters should have collided and an explosion of transparent energy emerged from in between them.
The energy explosion collided with the Taotie but not with the Dragon. The Dragon had not moved from its spot its pose showed that it was in the middle of a lunge but stopped; its earlier action was a feint. It smiled wickedly as the energy clashed with the vibrating skin of the Taotie and a bright light burst from the point of contact followed by a loud high pitched whistle.
“PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!”
The Dragon’s smile widened even more at the next event that happened. A figure of a bird that resembled the cross of a swan, a crane and a peacock with a body made of plasma flames flew from the left and collided head first with the expanding explosion of whistling light.

“THOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The silhouette combined with the transparent explosion turning it red while the white energy around the Dragon condensed inside its lung and its eyes became golden as its soul was enlightened. It opened its mouth and shot out a large beam of golden light that ripped the space apart as it traveled and landed on the mixture of the ball of light and the silhouette of plasma flames, engulfing them.
No sound came from the Dragon's attack and the entire area was bathed in golden light after which a powerful explosion burst out. The explosion of golden light covered the entire Eastern China and consumed parts of the sea around it.
"BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The sound came afterwards. It was so loud, the whole of Asia and parts of Northern Africa heard it.
By the time the golden explosion died down and the spectators’ eagerness to see the battle result peaked, a loud high pitched roar rang out that destabilized the souls of those who were near.
“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
It sounded like the Dragon but it was louder and more dominating. Daisuke had to fly above the clouds and into the exosphere to avoid the damage from the roar. The other hidden spectators also distanced themselves from the roar. They all had an idea who had won but a notification verified their assumptions.

Daisuke spent about 3 hours stabilizing his condition before he flew towards Western China, towards the territory of the Rank 29 soul that the, now Chaos Dragon, Gog spoke to. He planned on investigating the nature of these creatures.
After the explosion Eastern China was no longer a place. It was completely covered by the sea as the land had disappeared.
Gog was no longer there, the hunters who looked at the Soul Map after the notification could see the new Rank 30 soul flying back to Whales. With the battle concluded the last day of the World War 3 Event passed without any other significant event.
