Mira searched for the previous two fights of her next opponents with her Holoring. Her next opponent was the same race as the person that beat Tian, a Hero. But this person was not a Peak Human. She was a Demigod.

Sasha was an Argentinean Aura Martial Artist and a [Rank 27 Hero: Demigod (Achilles)]. Of course, seeing the name Achilles drew everyone’s eyes to her heels. Her first opponent had gone for the well known weak spot.

Alas the person only experienced failure in trying to target such an unusual and hard to hit spot. Beyond even that, Sasha showed inhuman agility, athleticism and instinct, allowing her to completely dodge all her opponent’s strikes. The person was knocked out a few seconds into the fight.

Sasha’s next opponent had a bit more flexibility as he was a [Rank 21 Human Variant: Wizard (Corrosion)]. His energy turned into acid and with his subtle and smooth control he actually managed to reach Sasha’s heel with his acid after taking some calculated risks. From there, everything went downhill for him.

Sasha suffered no injuries even when hit on the heel by the green acid that sizzled corroded everything, even the air. The wizard held on afterwards but without any hope of being able to harm Sasha he surrendered, deciding to keep his other abilities hidden for the group competition.

‘Well talk about an unbreakable wall. I need to get information on this Achilles. Was his heel his weakness? Why doesn’t she have the same weakness?’ Mira thought after watching Sasha’s fight end.

The next person was the One Punch made of the bracket, Zivon, a Russian Magician and also a [Rank 27 Fairy]. He was a 4 foot 1 inch young man, looking almost like a teenager, with multi-colored butterfly wings extending from the top of his shoulder blade. His fights were as simple as his race description.

In his first flight he lazily flew around dodging his opponents attacks and teasing her. When his opponent’s frustration had reached its peak, he summoned a golden lance the size of a cargo plane with colorful floral designs on its body. And the battle ended.

His opponent fainted immediately and a ball of force protected the opponent from being further influenced by the lance. Zivon frustration was evident as he angrily insulted his opponent for losing so easily.

The second fight began with Zivon being in a sour mood due to his easy victory. He instantly summoned the lance the moment the battle began and his opponent closed his eyes this time to avoid whatever effect the lance caused to his predecessor. Alas looking at the spear was not a condition for whatever effect it had to take hold.

Zivon’s second opponent woke up in the middle of the infirmary wondering how he had gotten there. Meanwhile Zivon left the stage with a displeased expression.

Mira was no slouch and compared to these two she was still to be considered quite as dangerous, only she didn’t face very dangerous opponents so she could be considered the weakest of the 3. What she was missing was information, so she searched for it. She went on forums discussing about various contestants that were still in the running of the competition.

She first went to a forum discussing about Sasha. It was a forum called ‘How to wound Achilles (Sasha)’. There were a lot of posts since the source of her invincibility was still unknown. Mira read the short introduction to who Achilles in the myth was before reading the two popular theories on Sasha’s invincibility on the chat.

One theory proposed that Sasha had a different weak spot that was not her heel. It could be because she could move her weak spot from her heels to a different part of her body or her weak spot was permanently located in a place that wasn’t her heel. So while people were focusing on the heel, Sasha’s forehead or armpit could be the weak spot.

This theory made sense to most because Sasha actually dodged attacks, not only that, she was very good at it. Also, the fact that Sasha didn’t let her first opponent hit her heels meant that she didn’t want people to discount her heel as a weak spot and start searching other places.

Another theory that was supported more because it wasn’t just based on the myth of Achilles, assumed that the Durability stat was what was at play. It proposed that Sasha was not just Achilles but someone who got Achilles’ body.

It meant that she was better than Achilles in that she put so much into Durability that even her Achilles heel was invincible or at least seemed that way. Hence she was confusing people by dodging so much since she would not get hurt no matter what.

The second theory was not accepted by those who felt gathering enough en-code to do that would have been impossible within the time frame of two years when en-code was available.

Both theories seemed too uncertain so Mira searched for a surer method. She decided to read the full story of Achilles leaving nothing out. In reading the story Mira found out that Achilles had been hurt in other places than his heel before.

There was a story in the Trojan war where Achilles fought an Ethiopian Demigod called Memnon. Both participants of the fight were so proficient that the gods projected the fight in the air so that everyone could watch the duel. The demigod lost to Achilles but he successfully hurt Achilles on multiple occasions during their fight.

After seeing this Mira searched for discussions on this event and found that there was a opinion that wasn’t so popular because of how simple it was: Hit her hard enough. That was the simple theory that was gleamed from Achilles’ fight with Memnon.

After seeing this Mira thought ‘Very simple then. It’s better than trying to search for a weakness that might not be there. I guess I’ll see if I can hurt her when we fight. The fact that she dodges means that somewhere in her race information, there is a limit or condition to her invincibility. Since Achilles never knew his weakness till he died she might be the same, not knowing her weakness. I’m sure she would have checked but her weakness might not be in some place but someone or something. Who knows? The hypothesis goes on and on. I’ll just use the brute force style, that’s more like me’.

Mira proceeded to check the forum discussing Zivon. It was called ‘The Reincarnation of One Punch Man: One Lance Fairy (Zivon)’. Before reading what was on the forum Mira remembered when Jade had knocked her out unknowingly. She had looked into his eyes when he was channeling his space glyph and that was it. She lost her consciousness.

But Zivon’s lance was certainly different since the second opponent closed his eyes and still got knocked out. She began reading through the forums and most of the posts were just praising Zivon or arguing about who they thought could beat him. To Mira’s disappointment, she was not one of those people, her fan base was completely empty. Mira’s eyes popped when she saw the profile pictures and names of the people who had lost to Zivon in the chat. Information about their experience would be more helpful than any speculation or argument.
