Chapter 150 – Winters Chaotic Dance (7)
He looked at the figure approaching. He pushed himself up and tried to reach for his gun. But he didn’t have them. He moved his head up and saw that most of his weapons got stuck above him. He was unarmed. He couldn’t stand properly and the pain in his ribs was so great.
“So you are the one that did all of this?” the person said. He didn’t reply. He only thought that despite the muffled voice of the person. He could tell he was a woman. The woman approached him carefully. He didn’t move as well. He waited for something.
“You won’t talk eh?” she squeezed the trigger of her pistol. He felt something painful and burning inside his stomach. He kneeled. He stared at the person who put the pistol on his head. “But don’t worry. I can tell. The way you gunned down those Templars. And all this chaos you inflicted upon many people. I saw hell down there. I may have been arrogant and sometimes cruel. But the hell that I saw down there was quite something. Normally, I wouldn’t care. But your actions hurt my friend and my only family. And that is UNACCEPTABLE!”
The woman lifted her leg and hit him right in the face. His ears rang badly. His headache got worse and he was bleeding badly. He could only see red veins. He should be screaming in pain. But oddly, he was smiling bitterly at the irony of all of this.
He did this for a friend. Now he was being confronted by this woman who was furious for what he did. He knew what he was doing. He wasn’t delusional enough to ignore it.
“Why did you do all of this huh?” said the woman. “If you were planning to kill the Lord Officiator then why involve the lives of many innocent? Although I am not a good person, it saddens me to see many people die because of someone. So LET ME UNDERSTAND WHY DID YOU DO ALL OF THIS!”

He got kicked again. He felt his being shook. The woman tried to kick again but he was able to block it. He wrestled the gun away from her but the woman knew how to fight. She jabbed the bullet wound he had. He was then elbowed in the chest and got tripped. He was slammed down. He was then stomped hard right in the chest.
“You at least have the will to fight,” she said. She reached for her pistol and pointed it his head. “Still, the fact that you’ve hurt my only friend doesn’t change. You did well in scheming and infiltrating this building. The Lord Officiator dead and what you wanted to do was done. Congratulations, you did well. But sadly, you have to be flung away and get injured like this. I don’t really care for whatever motives you have. Logically, I would have to capture you here and now. But I changed my mind.”
She pulled the trigger. But this was her mistake. The floating words appeared before him. He focused his mind on that and immediately his body move against his will. He rolled away and barely avoided the bullet. He felt that the mask the strap on his mask was getting loose. He started to his feet. He crooked his arm and threw a punch at the woman. The woman was able to block his punch. But her pistol was thrown out of her hand and fell down to the streets. The man pulled his arm again and tried to punch back. The two ended up hitting each other in the face at the same time.
They stumbled back. The mask they were wearing fell off. The two looked at each with seething fury in their eyes. But those looks immediately froze. He could recognize her. She could recognize him. The two knew each other very well.

“You are alive, Joshua?”
“NO! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN THIS PLACE DAMN IT?!”
Joshua lost his cool. Dolce was his personal nightmare. He broke because of her. She was his living trauma. And now that she was in front of him, he lost his calmness.
Dolce was the opposite. She was seething with fury. She was angered for being put into this hell. But what was this? She could recognize Joshua well. And the anger that was burning her heart vanished. It was replaced with the furious beating of her heart and her cheeks heating up.
The way he was looking at her with a despairing look. His face as he attacks blindly, as if he went mad, made Dolce feel something strange. There was swirling darkness in her eyes. There was a playful smile on her face as she dodges Joshua’s attacks.
She just kept on dodging while laughing madly. All of the emotion she felt trying to kill him vanished. It was replaced with a chaotic storm of emotions. She was surprised that the man she thought dead was alive. Had turned into someone that was able to surpass her expectations!
She was feeling something that she couldn’t describe at all!
Joshua was trying to hit her. But his maddened state made him inaccurate. He was also hurting. His ribs were aching badly. He tried to punch Dolce bur she was able to dodge him. He tried again and again and again but he couldn’t do anything.
He lashed out again. But Dolce took of his wrist and twirled him as if they were dancing. She swirled him around and then she tripped him over. He landed on his back and his head hit the ground. Dolce mounted him and her weight bearing down upon his injured ribs made him scream. His vision flickered black and white. He looked up and saw Dolce’s reddened cheeks and hazy swirling eyes. She was breathing like a maniac. There was a crazed look on her face as she licks her lips.
“You’ve escaped me twice. And now that you are alive...do you really think that you can escape me again? He he he he”
He tried to fight back. But his arms were pinned by her knees. Then, she lifted his head and banged her own head against his. That smack was the last hammer on the nail. Joshua felt his head go dull and as he slowly loses consciousness, he felt something soft forcing through his lips, eventually intertwining with his tongue. That sensation was something pleasurable and that was all he could feel before blacking out totally.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
