Lucas looked at Layla Palmer and said, " I've always wanted to try this worlds beer. It would be cool to share my first with you."

Layla Palmer didn't react at all. She was used to Lucas's innuendos. She said, " Sure." So Lucas and Layla Palmer walked around the Kingdom. The streets were bustling with people. There were stalls selling all types of things. From food to fruit to wood, to pots, to raw materials like steel and wood also magic items. There was a lot of noise here as people tried to advertise their stalls. This Kingdom was split into sections. There was the part residential and stall section know as the Stalls. The next section deeper into the Kingdom was where actual shops sold their stuff. The authenticity of what was being sold here was a lot more reliable but also more expensive. This section also had a residential area. The closer to the centre your house was the more lavish it was. The shops worked the same way. The closer to the centre the more expensive the items you found in the shop. This section was dubbed the commercial area. It was split into lower and upper commercial. Upper being the more expensive.

After this section was now as the Academy area. Where the various Academies could be found, and deeper in was the Mage Academy. Being the most sought after, the Mage academy received more benefits like a bigger academy. Better rooms for all student and better food, etc. Getting into the Mage Academy alone was an achievement that you could brag to all your friends about. And it would bring about great jealousy. Parents would receive bragging rights and money from the Kingdom because they raised such prosperous children( if you born in this Kingdom of course).

After the Academy section was the Noble section where the Nobles lived. And lastly but not least, the Palace where the Royal family stayed and where most of the nobles worked.

Layla Palmer and Lucas were currently in the Stalls and wanted to go to the Commercial to get a restaurant/pub where they could get a beer. Once they got to the commercial area Layla Palmer said, " Lucas there's a restaurant let's go." Layla Palmer excitedly walked ahead of Lucas.

Lucas walked at his own pace and met her at the door. The restaurant was called The Red Margaret. They walked in together catching the attention of everyone. The place was well decorated and smelt nice despite the alcohol being sold and the sweaty adventurers. The bar that was bustling with people, laughs and conversation was now dead quiet as they stared at Lucas and Layla Palmer. Lucas ignored the stares and walked forward to an empty table. Layla Palmer followed him and they both sat on the only empty table left in the whole restaurant. There were about 100 people in this restaurant it was very full. They had a lot of waiters and each of them was females that you could say is attractive. Which is what attracted so many people.

Lucas looked at the wall to check the menu. Even though he already knew he only came for a beer he needed to look busy. Because all the eyes were still on them. Actually, a more accurate description would be that all the eyes were focused on Layla Palmer. Soon a waiter snapped out her daze fueled by admiration and jealousy. She came to Lucas and Layla and asked " What do you wish to order," She looked at Lucas and then stared daggers at Layla Palmer.

Lucas put pressure on Palmer's palm and then on her shoulder. Because she was ready to have a go at the waiter. Lucas said," Can you bring us a round of beer?"

" Coming right up," the waiter said while walking away. A few minutes later the waiter returned with the beer in a wooden mug. The foam was bubbling over just like Lucas had remembered it did in anime and series he had watched. It was because of movies and series that Lucas was excited to drink beer. He did not like the taste of it in his previous world ( where Lucas is from the legal drinking age is 18). But now he would brave it out and drink it even if he did not like it. How could you call yourself an adventurer and not drink beer? After a gruelling day of fighting, you find your local tavern and drink beer with your party. To celebrate, you drink beer with your party. To mourn a party members death, you drink beer in remembrance, with your party. Beer brought the life of an adventurer together.

The waiter put down the wooden mug in front of Lucas. Afterwards, she banged Layla Palmer's wooden mug on the table. Some of her beer spilt out the cup and on the table.

" How careless of me," The waiter said smiling at Layla Palmer.

Layla Palmer had just about had it with this girl. Who picked on her just because she was jealous and angry at herself for admiring another woman other than herself. She was about to go off on the waiter when she felt an ominous presence looking at her. It was Lucas, he was looking at her while thinking " I dare you." Layla Palmer quickly calmed down and just returned the smile to the waiter. Layla Palmer knew had she made a scene Lucas would have left the scene immediately and that would be the goodbye.

Lucas then said " Thanks that will be all for now. You can go now," The waiter wasn't too pleased with Lucas's tone and the way he said it. But her boss was looking at her so she couldn't retaliate. Her boss wouldn't tolerate any more disservice to the paying customers. It would bring her name down.

Lucas took his wooden mug and so did Layla Palmer. They said cheers and clinked there mugs against each other. Layla Palmer was about to take a sip when Lucas said, "Wait!". Layla Palmer immediately stopped trying to drink and she thought something was wrong. She looked at Lucas with a puzzled look. Lucas then said," It's bad luck if you don't look me in the eyes. I don't believe it but I want to do it right." Layla Palmer said " Okay."

So they did it again but this time they were looking at each other in the eyes. Afterwards, they took a deep sip of the beer. Layla Palmer's faced scrunched when she tasted the beer but she still swallowed it. She thought she would tough it out because it seemed important to Lucas so even if the taste was bad she couldn't disrespect Lucas and spit it out.

Lucas too took a deep sip with much anticipation and then as it entered his mouth he tasted it and just like his previous world he didn't like the taste. But he was determined to drink it anyways.

When Lucas got this notification he immediately spat it out. He didn't do it in a refined way. He SPAT it out all over the table and in Layla Palmers drink too. Layla Palmer was shocked. She had just swallowed this because she assumed Lucas would too. But here Lucas is spitting his drink all over the table. When the other customers saw Lucas spit out his drink they all started teasing and mocking him.

" This insolent kid! How rude of you to spit out this beer."

" Beer is for real men if you can't handle it get out!"

" Such disrespect."

" Look at this baby, he can't handle his liquor."

" What's wrong kid, you not ready to give up mommies breast milk."

" Miss come drink with us."

" Yeah come drink with us we will show you how real men drink beer."

" No, drink with us we will show you a good time."

" No, drink with us. WE will show you a good time."

The room was getting rowdier by the second with people trying to vie for Layla Palmer's attention. And hopefully getting this chance to drink with her. The owner of the building saw the disorder and immediately hushed everyone. She walked towards Lucas as she wanted to know what was wrong. She was quite offended by the fact that Lucas had just spat out the beer that everyone knew and loved.
