‘’OI! LIL BRO! this is the fourth time this week! TO YOUR ROOM! NOW!’’ with a flash of light the 2nd prince blinks out of existence, probably teleported or something,

I continue staring at men tor and she takes notice,

‘’Ugh, don’t mind him, he goes wild when seeing anything cute, last time he suffocated a puppy to death through hugging’’

my face pales, that could’ve been me if I hadn’t scratched him in time

‘’don’t worry, ill stop him in time, and as remuneration, I will pay for all the damage you guys caused with that stunt you did’’ I turn even more to see the trail of destruction, most likely caused by that prince

I drop to the ground in a daze, it seems that the princess teleported away leaving me here all alone,

its so hard getting levels yet why is everyone so high! that prince was level 60! And that princess was 80!

How am I supposed to compete with monsters like that! I guess its time for an epic training montage! Or not. with all that madness behind me I find my way back to the adventurers guild and go to the C ranked section,

now what do we have here, fight some goblins, fight some wolves, are there any other monsters here! How uncreative do you have to be if the only monsters here are goblins, wolves and ogres!

I take the tag and bring it to the receptionist, the receptionist takes the tag and instructs me to follow a certain road and read the signs until I reach my destination, follow the western road, out the west gate and continue via signs,

I thank the receptionist and continue wandering around the city

I don’t have to leave the city now and since I'm not in a hurry I can delay my departure to tomorrow,

I stumble upon a conspicuously large building with a sign ‘library’ and a picture of a book, PERFECT!

I wander what the lore of this world is? I open the front door and the stench of books assault my nose,

granted, it is a lot better than outside, and that aged book smell really compliments the atmosphere of this whole building,

by the door is a table and a stern looking old man,

ugh, entrance fees, I hand over 1 iron and proceed to the geography section,

I randomly pick a book and find out it's about the world, no slip Sherlock, you’re in the geography section!

I read the book and find out something surprising, this world is mostly land, with large lakes here an there,

there are eight ginormous mountains called ‘the corners of the world’ meaning this world is in the shape of a cube, how weird,

with the mountains serving as corners, each 'face' has a number of lakes ranging from 1 to 6 like a dice.

the world is called ‘world’ creative, I know,

is this like how we named the moon ‘moon’?

There are many kingdoms scattered about and too many to name but generally everyone has some degree of human rights,

with no religion whatsoever this world is pretty peaceful, of course, it has a few wars, genocides, and generally bad things happening, but it would be a lot worse if you add religion to the mix as well,

was that why the old man was confused when I called him god? What are their creation myths then?

I search the other sections and find out that people think the world revolves around mana, everything is created by mana and mana can create everything,

pretty philosophical if you ask me,

I read up on mana and find it is pretty useful, anyone can control mana since it is everything, but the degree in which you can control it is something else entirely,

mages can control mana, change its properties to produce fire, water, earth, whatever, but it is a lot easier to use your own mana instead of the ambient one,

does this mean you can do anything with mana?

HEY GOD! I WANT A REFUND! Mana is waaaaay cooler than any cheat skill!

Oh? It says here that mages can't do everything because there are certain limits in skill inherent to every living being, so you can't just become god-like willy-nilly, I take it back, no limit on cheat is still pretty good

I return to the come inn, eat the soup provided, do my daily workout which didn’t produce any results, and go to bed
