《My cheat skill sucks》LOUD NOISES SUCK

I walk along with side, I'm bald, and she’s one-handed as we continue to conquer this dungeon
At the end of the cave are stairs that lead further down, shouldn’t there be some kind of boss guarding this place? On the next floor down the cave dungeon starts to look more dungeon-y with slightly glowing moss on the roof to provide you with just enough light that you can see outlines, that doesn’t work for me though, since I have night vision and whatnot, now that I think about it, how can golems see? They technically don’t have eyes and no internal organs, do they have some sort of sensory thing in their cores?
‘’hey side, I've always wondered, how do golems see?’’ I could ask identify but what's the point when there’s a golem to ask right here? ‘’u-um golems see through heat signatures and sound, m-magic golems can see the mana in the air though!’’ huh, so golems have heat vision and echolocation ‘’what do I look like?’’ since she is a magic golem, she should be able to see my lack of mana ‘’y-you l-look like… a black silhouette, pure black that it's like someone cut space, b-b-but in heat vision you are bright red! I-I can see details at least!’’ is this meant to be ironic? I see her as a 2D cut out and she sees me as a 2D outline, well, at least it would be easy to find me since I would stand out so easily, being a black hole or something,
Night vision levelled up
My vision clears up, side has no problem with the dark since she uses mana sight or something, and I can see perfectly well in the night time, all that level up did was extend my vision a bit further, with my vision slightly extended, I look up and find some giant bats
Loud a** bats, level 29 threat 40%, uses wind magic and loud screeches, watch out for the screeches, I repeat, watch out for the screeches
Advertisement
How bad can screeches be? Looking up I see there are about 8 bats, all of them open their mouths and a low pitched rumbling can be heard (play the video)
The low pitched rumbling sounds kind of like a motorcycle that’s far away, what's so bad about this? The low pitched rumbling climbs higher in pitch and gets louder, I'm starting to get a headache and side is ignoring them, the noise is getting louder and increases in pitch, my ears are numbing and the headache just gets stronger, the pitch increases even more and my head feels like its going to explode, the high pitched screeching gets louder and even more high pitched, my vision gets dyed red from the blood leaking from my ears,
I fall to the floor, with a headache like someone is smashing a hammer in my brain, the sound gets even louder, rocking me down to my core, it feels like I'm in a microwave, the sound waves liquefying my insides as I puke blood, the sound increases, when will this end! I cant hear myself think, my eyes and nose are bleeding profusely, side finally manages to catch on and start throwing wind blades at the bats, the bats, now provoked even more screech with a higher intensity, I puke another mouthful of blood and pass out
Regeneration levelled up
I wake up, blood still everywhere and the ringing wont stop, a headache to last a lifetime still pounding my brain and a worried side above me, what is she doing? She points at her ears and waves her arms, is she talking? Oh right, I can't hear anything with this constant ringing, I shake my head to indicate my inability to hear, we decide this is a great time for a break so I have a quick shower to wash off all this blood and eat some lunch, I don’t know what time it is since we are in a cave dungeon but I'm thinking its around night time and I've been asleep for a minute or two,

Strength up
Oh finally, I finally got my strength up from the constant increased gravity, I increase the stacks on my downwards sucks and the feeling of increased gravity strengthens, I take off my clothes, put on the gag and rest for a bit, side has already gotten used to this sight, not that she ever cared to begin with,
HHHMMMMFFFF~ I scream into the gag, I get up and wash myself as usual, ignoring a certain place that is standing ready, I put on my clothes and realize I can hear again! What joy! The ringing in my ears stopped and the headache even went away! HAHA! Now to question side on why it took so long for her to help out, ‘’SIDE!’’ she jumps awake, and focuses her attention to me fidgeting a bit ‘’why did it take you so long to notice those bats! How can you not hear them!’’ she starts shaking, darting her head around as if to divert my gaze
‘’u-u-um I h-h-have s-selective hearing? I c-c-couldn’t hear them at all!’’ selective hearing? Is that a skill? ‘’then how can you talk to me?’’ I wish I could ignore all the sounds except the ones from certain people ‘’i-it’s a golem thing… I can set my hearing to only listen to certain things, e-everything else will get blocked’’ she says while looking away, sigh, fine, if it’s a golem thing I guess it makes sense, since golems are meant to only follow orders or something, making them deaf to other sounds would be reasonable, but what about footsteps for intruders? Is it like a hearing range? Where they immediately block sounds from a certain frequency? Anyhow, I eat my breakfast thing and wait for me to fully heal,
I am now fully healed, my hair back, my vision back, my hearing back, everything is where its meant to be! Sides right arm is also regenerating nicely, its past her elbow now, way better than before when it was just under the shoulder, now is the time for me to check the the loot I got from that chest, ‘’hey identify, tell me about these items’’
Steel sword, a sword made of steel, relatively high quality 15 silver coins, 10 Iron coins and 8 bronze, worth 16080 copper steel pants, steel plated pants, gives ample protection for your lower half
the sword and pants seem like they were made for me, since they fit my body perfectly ‘’hey side, why do these items fit me perfectly?’’ I ask side what's on my mind, I could ask Identify, but I want to spice things up every now and then ‘’treasure chests items change depending on the person who opens it, that is why most teams open chests together or let the person who needs items most do it’’ huh, so chests give you items in your size so it won't be wasted, I put on my new pants and they fit me snug, the inside is soft, leather? I think, there is a hole at the back for my tail to slip through, the added weight will help me with my training, I'm also carrying the sword around for whatever reason
With that we continue to explore the second floor of this dungeon.

The Exiled Villainess Returns
(Please heed the warnings above before reading) Reborn into the beautiful but deadly world of Ethetia, she comes to a sudden awareness that she is now Livia Katrina Valentine, a character of a game of a reverse harem she once played on Earth called Aster Academy: The Feuding Houses. But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.

Errant
Amateur fighter Kestril only remembers two things about her mother's disappearance: a locket and the promise she made to keep her brother safe. That promise is all she thinks of when she jumps in front of a car to save her brother. She expects death, but instead wakes up to a looming clock tower, cobblestone streets, and dead soldiers wearing lockets just like her mother's. Kess's locket marks her as one of the Errant- people with control over dimensions and time, and the same people rumored to have captured her brother across the city. When a military group mistakes Kess for their enemy, she swears allegiance at gunpoint, hoping to search for her brother from within. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary. When the murder of an important Errant soldier throws the city further into civil war, Kess uncovers a plot that could undo everything she's fought for so far. The only problem? Her brother is at the head of it. Trapped between her promise to her mother and her morals, Kess finds little use for her theatrical brawling of the past. She can only hope to find her brother before it's too late. || Update: 4/24/2022 Have decided to rewrite this novel, but will continue to post chapters of this draft, possibly with commentary.
