****Estra, Tosa. Dyer Castle****
****Vlad POV****
"Hello, are you there?"
I heard Aaron's voice and got out of my own world and looked at him.
"Ah, yes. I am sorry, I was just thinking about something. Can you repeat what you said?"
"That's fine. I just wanted to tell you that we won't get the contract from my father until evening, so you can do what you want" he replied.
"That's fine. I wanted to look around the city anyway" I said as I put down the cup I was holding.
"Then, please take this" He said as he handed me a medallion with a tiger engraved on it. I looked up at him.
"What is this?"
"Show this to anyone who wants to make trouble for you" he said and left the room.
I stood up and walked out of the door. While walking through the corridor, I saw the 3 people who were with Aaron last time we met. This time, though, they acted very politely towards me.
I walked out of the castle.
I started walking around the city and watched how things were in it.
Although it was not as fancy as earth, it sure surprised me with the amount of people who carried weapons on their back or waist.
Looking at these people who were all Cultivators made me really happy because on earth, not everyone was a fighter and those who were, were in the professional league or in some sort of club, but here, everyone was a fighter, be it women or men.
I was a former Kung Fu master on earth and I even beat the shit out of the people who thought that they were at the top of the martial arts world.
"Leave my sister alone" I heard the voice of a boy and turned to my right.
I saw that there were 5 men surrounding a small boy and a girl. They both looked about 8-10 years old.
The boy was blocking the way of the 5 men who were standing in front of him.
I looked at the men and saw that 4 of them wore the same black ragged clothes.
The 4 men were all at the height of 200-210 cm and they had a lot of scars on their body. They carried swords that were made of steel. The hilts had three pieces to them, a simple crosspiece, a square ‘scent stopper’ pommel with 4 citrines set in it, and a ribbed grip made of ebony. A single rune (a dagger plunged through a heart made of thin clear lines) is carved into the middle of its back. The swords were about 1m in length.

The fifth man was fat and was at the height of 170 cm. He wore a golden robe and looked just like a noble.
"Get out of my way kid, or else don't blame me for being merciless!" Pig 1 said [Can’t be bothered to name them so I will just call them Pig 1-4. Very Happy]
"I won't let you take my sister!" the kid yelled as the girl behind him started to cry.
"Just get rid of the kid and get her!" the fat man said as he was getting impatient.
I just realized what was going on. ‘Slave traders’ I thought
I looked around to see if there was anyone who would help them, but everyone was just pretending that they are not seeing this at all. Most people here just made quick glances towards the scene and looked at the kids with pity before facing the other way.
I started to move towards them which made a lot of people look at me with surprised expressions.
‘Are you going to play the hero?’ I heard Dyton's voice in my head.
‘Why would I do that?’ I replied back to him.
‘Then, why are you going towards them?’
‘To check how much stronger I have become after getting to the Mortal rank!’ I said in my mind as my eyes lit up and my lips curved up into a smile.
"Get lost kid!" the man raised his hand to push the kid out of the way. The kid looked at the man without a single hint of fear as the warrior brought his hand down towards the kid and was about hit the boy.
"Huh?" Pig 1 was surprised as well as the other pigs and the Pig Lord.
"How about you spar with me?" I said while holding his hand. His face went from being surprised to pale as he realized that I was crushing his bone. This came to me as a surprise as well. I have only used 50% of my strength and the bone was about break.
*Crack!*
"Ahhhhhhhh" you could hear the screams of the man as his bone broke and he held his broken hand with his other while getting down on his knees.
"Get this man!" the Pig Lord said and the other 3 pigs got out of their shocked daze and took out their swords.
‘Take the man's sword!’ I heard Dyton's voice and I kicked the kneeling man in the face and stole his sword.
Right now, we are in front of a shop and the arena around us is a free space as people cleared it out and gathered on the corners looking at us.

After picking up the heavy looking sword, I realized that it was very light. The length bothered me a lot, though. I am only 174 cm and the sword was 1m long, it was too long, but I had no choice at that moment.
"Kill him!" the Pig Lord yelled and the 3 men launched themselves at me
I dodged the first sword strike of the first pig and elbowed him which caused him to take 4 steps back before stopping and spitting out a mouthful of blood.
I looked towards the 2 others’ swords right above my head. To cope with it, I used my sword as a shield.
*Clang**Clang*
I blocked both swords and took a step back and stopped. Then, I moved forward again and swung my sword in an arc shape towards the pig to the right.
*Bang*
The sound of metallic clashing could be heard and the man flew backwards due to the power behind my weapon before dropping to the ground.
*Pu*
The man spat out a mouthful of blood as he fainted. Then, I moved my legs to the right and my sword towards the left and blocked the sword coming from the that direction.
*Clang*
My sword started to vibrate due to the clash of the weapons.
*Clang*
*Clang*
*Clang*
We both swung our swords really fast. One clash after the other could be heard throughout the area. I received wounds from the man but so did the he.
This man knew that If he took one sword hit from me, then he would probably lose so he kept avoiding the strikes like a snake.
I moved back from the warrior. I knew that he is faster than me which is why I haven't been able to attack him at all. He made me go into defensive mode as he kept sending one strike after another. ‘This Pig 4 is amazing!’ I thought
My blood was boiling.
How long has it been since I had a fight like this!?
The man ran towards me and jumped as he swung his sword down trying to kill me. I quickly rolled over and swung my sword sideways.
*Bang*
The man blocked it and took a step back. I quickly ran after him as I jumped as well and swung my weapon towards him.
He didn't get his balance yet before the sword hit him. I looked to the right and saw that there was a sword coming towards me. I quickly pulled my sword into shield mode.
*BANG*
The sword hit my own one and I flew 5 steps backwards before stopping. Then, I stood up and to my surprise, this didn't affect my body at all. I felt just a small numbness in my hands that was was gone after a while. Both of the men looked towards me and ran.
They each came from two different directions. In this kind of situation, the only way to get out of it is if I run forward the moment their swords are swung.
‘You put every Sword Immortal into shame!’ Dyton's voice boomed in my head.
‘What do you mean?’ I asked, confused.
‘Use the fucking Sword Energy around you!’
‘Sword Energy? You mean the sharp things around me?’
‘Yes’
I closed my eyes and I made the Sword Energy around me enter my body then the sword in my hand.
I opened my eyes and saw the two swords coming at me.
The speed they were moving at slowed down which allowed me to swing at both of them.
As they both saw the incoming attack, their faces lost their red color and they went pale while their eyes showed fear and despair.
*BOOM*
You could hear an explosion coming from my sword as they both flew backwards with wounds all over their bodis and the light in their eyes seemed to have dimmed down.
I felt that my entire body was in pain but that didn't make me go down, it just made me stand up proudly.
My eyes were blazing with fire and my smile was radiating. Coupled with my red hair and yellow eyes, this made everyone watching speechless. I looked just like a War God who has descended on the mortal world.
I looked around the place and saw the 4 men who were down. As I swept my gaze over the many people watching, I saw that they all had an 'o' shaped mouth.
My gaze fell on the fat man and I moved forward.
"D-don't come any closer!" the fat man yelled as he fell on his ass, his face bleak.
I moved my sword upwards and swung it down, cutting the man in half. Blood and guts were seen on the ground and I got blood all over my white robe. I threw the blade down on the ground and made my way through the crowd.
I thought that after killing 3 men, I would feel something, but I felt nothing. This showed me that my personality really changed.

Enter Darkness
"Here in the mountain we train those who will one day take our places. We do the jobs others find impossible. Our clients are ever different. We never turn down a job, and we never fail. I hope you take my words to heart. I would hate to kill you myself one day. Now listen carefully." As Master Thrass spoke I listened. He told me that the process was fairly simple but very dangerous as well. This is after all Black Hive Mountain. Home of the greatest Assassins in the world.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.

Mobius
Far in the future, humans have thoroughly colonized space through the use of floating colonies and artificially replicating the Earth whenever possible. Most of these endeavors have gone well, with humanity spreading across the universe like the seeds of plants floating in the wind. Yet still there lurks the great mistake, the endless station of Mobius, a megastructure which hasn't ceased its building in over a century. Dante, a man living in this megastructure, is tasked with the recording of stories told by criminals, particularly those who travel between strata. One day, a prisoner is captured claiming to be Captain Pluto, an infamous criminal thought to be fictitious by most scholars. Even more curious, he claims to hail all the way from Stratum 56, a location so far away from Dante's Stratum 999 that it would take lifetimes to traverse such a distance. Dante must discern whether or not the story is false or true, and the longer he lets Captain Pluto speak, the more difficult his task becomes. *****Average chapter length will be 10k words give or take. This isn't a very serious story for me. I'm writing this to blow off steam. Updates will happen infrequently because of this, and it will most likely be unpolished unless I begin to take it more seriously.
