“Pfft!” The woman who slammed her hand on the table earlier also left the room after the young woman, she was not satisfied with the outcome of the meeting.

After she left the room, 3 other women who also seem to be in their 30s went after her. They all knew the temperament of this women so they went after to make sure that she doesn’t get herself into trouble again.

The woman made a hasty leave of the castle as she increased her speed and left, looking at the scene of the woman using her sword to fly, the others looked at each with helpless expressions as they also took out their swords and went after her.

They went flew over the castle and made their way towards the castle that belonged to the woman, the people outside of the castle could not see anything as they only blur flying by, there were some king ranks among them who might have seen just a bit of them but even to them they only saw a blur.

The 4 women made their way to a castle smaller than the last but it had eleven thin, square towers surround the castle in almost a perfect circle around this incredible castle and are connected by giant, narrow walls made of yellow stone.

Ornate windows are scattered generously across the walls in a seemingly random pattern, along with holes of various sizes for archers and artillery.

A sizable gate with hefty wooden doors, a drawbridge, and archer holes guards the only place with water within these hot, dry lands and it’s the only way in, at least without taking down the castle walls.

Small buildings, houses, and other structures populate the grounds outside the castle walls, homes for the poorest of the poor. This castle has clearly stood the test of time and its inhabitants are intended on making sure it stays that way for ages to come.

Just like the other castle this one also seem to be made for combat. The young women stopped at the top of this castle and flew downwards while looking to her back where the other 3 also flew after her in the same manner.

She looked back and stood in front of the gate, the moment she landed the guards went on their knees “Welcome back matriarch!” They yelled in unison, their yelled managed to reach the ears of those who was in control of the gate who opened it for the woman to enter, as she entered the other 3 also entered after her, they were talking to themselves whether they should stop her or let her.

Hearing the whispers behind her back the woman stopped and looked at the 3 women, “If you are going to help me then help me but if you plan on stopping me then huff huff!” The woman said and turned back once more and left to enter the castle, the people in the surrounding was confused as to why their matriarch would say such a thing to the other matriarch's of this region.

The people in surrounding knew one thing for sure, that something must have happened that made the matriarch like this, some of them even went and asked around while the rest went and prepare for anything the patriarch might throw at them. The matriarch of this region was known for her cruelty to anyone who stands against her and how she treated the people under her.

The 3 women left the place after they realised that the women have made her decision and there was no way for them to make her change it, they all knew just how stubborn this woman was.

Inside the castle, the woman went towards her office and sat down on her chair picking up a gem which looked like a Sapphire.

This Sapphire with a trillion cut and the size of a blueberry is in great condition. These gems are rarely sought after since they very common in this region.

It’s said these gems contain the power to record the memories of someone after they die, you only need to put someone’s soul signature on the stone and after they die, the stone will turn from red to blue and record the last few things the person saw before their life ended.

The woman put the gem in her head and looked through the last few images that were recorded in the stone, after looking at it for a while the woman put the gem down the woman looked at the door “Lena!” the women yelled with a cold tone, a few moments later a young looking woman stepped in the room while opening the door “Yes Master!” she said while bowing her head.

“I want you to go and tell Fin that I want the person who killed my son dead!” She yelled as she threw the gem at the young women who was startled for a split second before returning to her old expression, she took the gem and left the room.

After the young woman left the room, the woman looked at the window of the room and started to shed tears for her dead son who seemed to have been killed by Vlad, the woman’s eyes turned bloodshed as she remembered how easily her son was killed, she wanted to tear Vlad apart more than they wanted to find out who the beast behind him was.

[In the Hallow woods]

Inside the forest, there were two young men eating beside each other while looking at the region they have destroyed, Vlad who was sitting on the right side looked at the young man “I still don’t know your name?” Vlad said while eating a fry beard, this question made the tall man wonder whether to tell Vlad his name or not, after a while, he came to a decision as he looked at Vlad “My name is Floyd King, I am from the Legion clan, what about you?”

Vlad didn’t know how to reply as he didn’t anything about this world or how he got here so he just gave him his name “I can’t remember much but all I remember is that my name is Vlad, I don’t which clan I am from or who my parents are”

Floyd looked at Vlad “I wanted to ask you but what kind of beast are you?” this sudden question made Vlad raise an eyebrow, “I am a dragon” Vlad said and this made Floyd widen his eyes in disbelief “That’s impossible, the Dragon clan was annihilated by the Phoenix clan”

Vlad looked at him “What do you mean?”

“A few years ago when the Dragon Clan was fighting against the Serpent clan who went against them, they were ambushed by the Phoenix clan,” Floyd said as he recalled everything he was told.

“Hold on, was the Dragon Clan that weak?” Vlad asked him

“No, the Dragon Clan was definitely the strongest in the entire world without a doubt but ever since the overlord of the Dragon Clan went missing the Dragon clan became vulnerable this led to the annihilation of the Dragon Clan”

“What happened to this Overlord?” Vlad asked him

“No one knows what happened to the dragon Overlord, he just vanished one day and was never to be seen again, but if he is still alive then the once who will be annihilated would be the Phoenix clan,a” Floyd said in an awed manner.

Interesting! Vlad thought before going back to eating.
