Infinite Ocean Ch 17

With both Rain and Jess safe, we head back to Queen Mary 2 and saw many people tied up. I carried both Jess and Rain as I jumped to the ship since the stairs has not been included by me.

As I expected both Master Yun and Nixe were leisurely drinking tea. They are calmly sitting without any care about the 13 gangsters sprawled about the floor. All of them knocked out and with some even lightly burned.

"How was your day Masters?" I askes as I summon three chairs that I made before for the three of us to seat.

"Well nothing much actually. We were able to finish the Qi Gathering Formation today, while some small fries tried to sneak uo on us." Master Yun said with a straight face

"Oh, and by the way, I was able to formulate a way to replicate the Qi Gathering Formation. I finally thought of the necessary materials and symbols to use. If my research became a succsessn, you will benefit greatly." Master Nix said excitedly as she was hyped by the thought of being able to accomplish such feat.

"Did you found anything weird about those gangsters?" I asked as I felt that something is odd

"Oh, you mean about their families? I was able to access one of the memory of one of those gangster with amemory orb and found out a disgusting secret. The gang that they belong to uses cruel methods to hire their members. They use the loved ones of each member as a hostage." Master Nix said with disgust present in her face.

"We have a week right?" Master asked which I agreed. "Good, I want you to destroy the Black Tentavle Gang from the face of Pearl City. If you can't finish it within a week, we will not be sailing for another month." Master Yun challenged as he looked coldly at the city.

"Okay then, I accept your challenge." I said eagerly as I felt that I will regret it if I let this scourge of a gang live. "I think that the two of you should stay in here. Masters Nix and Yun can protect the two of you in case of an attack. And don't worry, I will immediately finish this gang so that we can rush to your kingdom." I said confidently as I reassured both Jess and Rain.

"Now that I realized the lack of aecurity withing the ship, would you like me to install another formation here? I mean it would use some of the Qi gathered by the Qi Gathering Formation, but I can assure you that average people can't sneak up in this ship." Master Yun asked

"I think that is for the best Master. Although it might decrease the Qi, it is acceptable since we will only be using it when we are docked." I agreed as I think of the Pros and Cons of such Formation.

I lead both Jess and Rain to the 2nd Floor. This is the only are which I specifically modified to be living quarters. I didn't chose the Deck since I am planning hold businees there.

The rooms really do not have any thing inside it so it was pretty blans as of now. The blue pring included the interior design it was not to my liking since the ship is orginaly designed as a cruise ship which carry passengers in traveling the world and not designed for business and trading.

After the saw their room, they immediately requested me to take the two of them for shopping for the decorations.

While we were shopping, a Marine Soldier approached us and told me that Captain Brock is asking for my presence. Walking back to the Outpost was easy due to the fact that any gangster who tried hurting us were immediately caught by the soldiers.

"So the three of you were ambushed today and not one of you notified the Marines?" Brock said in a serious manner which was way different from his usual demeanor

"Things happened Captain, and we were all tired by the fighting and action that we did today." I sighed as I realized that I could have used my connection to the Marines in solving my problem.

"I know its been a long day for the three of you, but I need to know which lowlives dared to do despicable things under my watch." Brock said as he calm himself down

"Okay then, the people who ambushed us were from a single gang. It is called the Black Tentacle Gang which is a cruel gang who only care for profits. I believe that it is already a deep rooted gang in here which extend even inside the Marines." I eaxplained as I study Brocks expression to see if he was familiar with this Gang

"Oho, so its that gang who actually dared to extend their hands to the Marines huh. Thanks for that information Sam. From what you are telling me, there might be some higher level Marine officer who are included in this gang am I right?" Brock said coldly

"The only member that I can confirm is the head of the Bounty Department. Sylveste Talon is a spy planted by the Black Tentavle Gang to be their informant." I explained all the information that can be essenstial.

"So that Sylvester was a spy? How come that such a high level official will be willing to worm for a gang?" Brock asked with a perplexed expression

"I think that the answer to your question is family. Try investigating the family members of all the caught members today and see where they are now. If you can't find them, it means that they are being held against their will and were forced to work for the Gang." I said seriously before leaving the room.

With the meeting over, we head back to the market for alittle while before rushing to the ship as dinner was being cooked by Master Yun.

As Master Nix saw the decorations that the girls bought, her eyes shined and she immediately dragged the two girls to their rooms and started designing it.

"Girls huh. Don't just stand there and help me cook." Master said with a wry smile as he watch the girls excitedly rush to their rooms
