Infinite Ocean Ch23

I woke up with my stomach grumbling loudly. I felt very hungry but the good thing is that I felt that my Qi and Mental energy improved a little bit. I stumbled

around my room before I was able to properly go to the dining area. Luckily, I woke up at lunch time so all of us enjoyed a feast for my success. We celebrated but the one who ate the most was me since I am starving.

"Congratulations my disciple, you accomplished the challenge that I gave you.So how is the Black Tentacle Gang?" Master Yun said happily while everyone stared at me

"I was able to meet and defeat the main boss which was the big three inside the Magic Federation here in Pearl City. I acted according to their plan which lead me to a trap. Sypvester was merely a puppet but he was able to actually disable my Qi without easily with the help of a Void Copper Wire. If it wasn't for my 'Special' abilities, I would have been mindlessly following their orders since they put a slave collar in my neck." I explained as I tap my bloated stomach with a satisfied smile

"That's great then. If you can defeat such a well organized gang, I am sure that defeating those mindless orcs would be a breeze." Jess said with an eager tone

"That might be true, however I am sure that there are some Orcs with actual intellect and wisdom. If Orcs are what you describe, it is impossible for them to defeat the elves." I said seriously as I remember my promise to help the elves.

"Now that you fixed that gang problem, I exoect that you will focus again in your Magus training." Master Nix reminded as she looks at me with expectant eyes

"Of course Master, I am going to train hard. I only need to do some essential things so thag we would have a better time on the QM2." I said with a smile to reassure Master Nix

After some chatting with Rain and everybody else in the Ship, I decided that I will finish the final step that I can think off before we leave the Pearl City for good. Me and Rain went out so that she can help me in buying some essential herbs amd seeds that I will be planting at the 5th Floor of the Ship.

"Sir Sam, all of us have come to offer our services to you. We are all indebt to you and would like to repay your graciousness." Sylvester shouted as he saw us leave the ship.

I went down at the Docks to properly talk to the 60 former gang member together with their families.

"So how exactly do you wish to repay me?" I asked as I scrutinize each one of the people present in the docks

"I know that we had harmed you, however we would like to work as your crew members since t we have nowhere else to go to. All of us will work hard so please accept us." Sylvester begged sincerly

"Is what Sylvester said the meaning of all of you?" I asked seriously as I consider the manpower that they could possibly provide together with the extra resourves that I would need to keep all of them well fed.

They all nodded theor heads even the kids. "Okay then, I am willing to hire you as a crew in my ship. However, I expect that all of you would atleast do the jobs that I would be assigning." I explained in which they smiled and nodded their heads again.

"Since you are the one who seems to be their leader, Sylvester. I want you to give me all their names and a simple background. You all would be assigned as the servers and employees of my future Trading and Auctioning Venture. I will need some men to act as guard while those that are weaker can practice basice etiquette in serving customers. To those that know how to craft and build things, there is a special offer for you guys." I ordered before letting them inside the ship with a pre made steps that can lead to the deck.

"By the way, the people insode the ship are my Masters and friends so treat them fairly. I do not trust all of you guys but I let you inside the shop since it have a formation that keep the ones outside out and keep those inside in. If you tried to leave the ship without the necessary thing that can let you pass the formation, you will suffer a heavy imjury plus you will become prisoners that are to be treated lowly. So if you have any funny plans, it better for you to leave." I warned as we steped at the deck

No one uttered any disagreement and looked at me with understanding gaze.

"Since you all understand, I have an important news to tell you. You can actually leave this ship as long as you ask. Not only that, you are all given the chance to leave the ship once we landed in a place of business."I explained with a smile as I lead them to the same floor where our rooms are located.

There a rows and rows of empty rooms which can fit about 500 people so there is no worry about space. I quickly drew a simple map that explains the floors before leaving them to do what they need to do.

"I advice that all of you withraw all your wealth from the bank and take it with you. I am preparing to sell you some essential thing that you might need. I want all of us to establish a simple economy inside this ship. I am willing to sell you the raw materials needed so that you can create things that can then be sold for a higher price." I proposed the idea to them which caught the attention of the 60 men which immediately asked me to let the out of the ship for them to withraw their remaining money.

The whole process was smooth so I was able to finish the arrangement with the help of Rain. She actually have a substantial amount of experience in management so I asked her to cooperate with Sylvester in the thing that needs to be accomplished before we leabe the Pearl City.

My trip to the shop of the Druid Elm was postponed again for tomorrow since the remainder of the Shipment that I ordered from Hans' Shop and I need to personally process it since it was delayed due to the danger recently caused by the Black Tentacle Gang.

With a all these thing going on, I finally decided to meditate and practice grasping mana after a celebratory feast was held during supper. I am not there yet, but I felt my improvement in control so all is well.
