It was a world that held itself together with connections.
No matter what their reality was, everyone was connected to someone else.
No matter how different they were, they could still reach out to someone.
Did such an ideal world really exist? Or was everyone conditioned to believe it worked that way?
What happened to those who couldn't reach that world?
What about those who broke the connections with their own hands?
What about those who could not connect, no matter how hard they tried?
Were they still part of the world, or had they been left behind for being different?
Was the red of the world the same red that reflected in their eyes?
― Scarlet Finale! Volume 3 ―
He couldn't move his body no matter how hard he tried. His senses had already gone numb, but he could tell he had collapsed.
The disturbing scenery that reflected on his eyes was rapidly fading away as a thick red liquid dripped down his forehead. For some reason, he wasn't the only one who had suffered such an unfortunate fate.
He extended out his shaking hand, struggling to the very end. He didn't know who that person was, he didn't know why, but he knew they were important. He knew he couldn't let go, no matter what.
As his fingertips reached the cold hands of that mysterious figure, the remains of a massive tower collapsed in the distance, and seven radiant colors flooded his vision.
At that moment, his life finally started.
Why was this image coming back at a time like this? Is this what they meant when they said your life flashed before your eyes before your final moments?
In the midst of a sudden conflict, a massive burst of energy flew towards Faith. The energy in fact, was his own attack, which was bounced back with ease by the doctor's strange powers. The boy had already accounted for this, under any other circumstance, he could easily handle this, but this time, his body came to a sudden halt with no warning.

He could only hold his chest with a tight grasp while trying to endure intense pain from within.
And next, a disturbingly familiar sensation enveloped him.
He had collapsed on the cold ground. The sound of a grand impact resounded as the attack missed him, and bounced against the wall of the barrier surrounding him.
A figure entered his line of sight. Her silhouette was covered by the warm sunlight of a new morning, and her voice was oddly reassuring.
"Need some help, boss?"
At that moment, the warm red of dawn enveloped that lonely city.
