《The Aria Chronicles》Night Killings

Note: I've had missed adding the Ch. 59 Vampiriric Blade, I have added it now, please do read.
It had become completely dark.
Today is a starless night, so there is no light from the stars. Only one moon could be seen excluding moonlight, but it has hidden away clouds.
Such night is very good hunting for the environment for the Vampire as their ability to see in the dark is quite better than the Orcs.
I thought my vision would be good as the Vampires, but to my surprise, it is way better, as I can see quite clearly in the dark. Though it is not as good as the day, it is still way better than other Vampires.
It should be because of my Bloodline, it had enhanced my senses very much; otherwise, I would not have been able to stay hidden from the eyes of multiple Viscount and Higher level powerhouses.
Till now I have not come across anyone who has to have the Intermediate or Higher level Bloodline. Of all the Ocs only two had the Bloodline but their Bloodline was nothing special and could not give them any boost.
Well, most people who have the High-level Bloodline of Intermediate Tier higher are specially trained to be made Elite as more than 90% Elite have Intermediate or higher level Bloodline.
It had been fifteen minutes since I have not come across any Orcs or Vampire, they have seemed to become quite cautious after it turned dark.
They will not stay hidden for long, soon they will come out in full force.
I had just thought that when I heard the faint rustle and quietly walked toward the rustling sound. I kept getting closer and closer to the rustling sound until I was able to see what was making it.
It is a team of four Orcs, with Initial Baron as the leader while rest is the Peak Knights.
Good Prey!
I thought as I started to walk closer to then using a large amount of soul energy on the path so I do not make even a tiny bit of sound.

Soon I reached the ten meters range from them, they are being very cautious looking at even a tiny bit of sound but their cautiousness will bear nothing as next second, they are going to die.
As they came a little closer I attacked them, I used five of my knives against the Initial Baron while three against the three Peak knight.
As my knives sped toward them, they had not sensed them even a bit, it was only when the Knives entered the one-meter range of Baron Orc, does it able to sense something wrong but that time, it had become too late.
Puch Puch Puch…
All my knives hit targets, even the Baron Orc was not able to defend against them, these knives may seem silver and shiny but they do not reflect light and it even conceal in dark due to being made from the special metal.
I covered all the dead bodies with my soul energy and gently laid them down. I do not want to make a sound and attract any unwanted attention to me.
I quickly cleaned the bodies of their stuff and stored them in their respective places before I hid the bodies, so those with the tracking abilities will not be able to track.
After finishing with the first, I found the second Orc to hunt in a few minutes. This one was the lone Mid Baron and I killed it the same way I killed the previous group and after cleaning up the battlefield, I moved forward again.
Time passed and every team minutes I would come across the Orcs, either they were alone or in the team all of them killed by me silently. Those Orc Knights are never able to tell what killed them, only those of the Baron able to sense my attack before they were killed by my knives.
As I kept killing them, my mastery over the telekinesis increased tremendously and I started to use less and less soul energy to attack. I did that to get better control over my telekinesis and also I want to have a practice of killing at forty 40% of my soul power.
After three hours, I could now easily kill the Knight Orcs with only using 40% of my power, it is Baron level that I am having problem dealing but I kept trying.
I want to kill the Baron only using 40% of soul power so that I could get merit points from it. Earlier I had decided against showing my Baron kills but if I am able to kill any of the Baron with the 40% my soul power then I won't mind getting merit points for it.
I continued killing the Orcs and in just three hours, I had killed a hundred Orcs and if I combine that with the fifty orcs from before then I have killed little more and One hundred and Fifty Orcs.
This number is not huge if one compares to the kill of the Elite Knight but it is huge for the normal knight and I am rookie top of that, I don't think even a rookie Elite Knight would be able to kill as much as I did.
Yesss!
I shouted in my mind after four hours, I had finally been able to kill the Initial Baron with only using 40% of my soul power. It took a little time than usual but I was able to kill it.
As I started to check this team of Six orcs, I found there are many Vampires and human artifacts with them, they would have killed quite a lot of vampires.
This is the battlefield we are killing the Orcs, the orcs also killing us and collecting our artifacts. I know I should not be happy seeing the stuff of people on my side but I am as every artifact worth something and the more I have the better.
I cleaned all their bodies and put their valuable stuff in my already bulging backpack, my dem bag had stuffed to the full and hour after the dark, so now I had been putting the stuff in the backpack which had already grown quite big.
Like all the stuff I have, this backpack is also a little special. It can enlarge and also has weight formation, so as long as I keep providing it the energy it will feel weightless to me.
Another hour passed and I killed more Orcs while surviving from the powerhouses that were very near me, the battle had been intensified from the past half an hour and everywhere I walk I could hear the faint sounds of battle.
The battle is now coming to an end as the time of reinforcements are coming closer, Orcs are not idiots they also know that the reinforcements will come soon.
That is why they have upped the offensive so they could kill as many as they can before they made the retreat.
From the bodies I have seen, no side had the obvious advantage and that is good for us as the Orcs have about three to four times more than use.
In my estimate, the battle should last for a little more than an hour before they make their retreat.
Another half an hour passed and I killed a few more orcs and walked forward in the search of the Orcs when I heard the faint sound, hearing that I walk toward it cautiously.
A minute later I could see a clear silhouette of the lone Orc and it a Knight at it, it is not rare to see lone knights like me there many other Knights on the orc side who like to battle alone.
Shit!
I cursed loudly, and sweat started to come down from my neck. When I got into range and launched my knives at it, I sensed its battle power.
Its an Orc Elite, it's battle power is way stronger than any opponent I fought in the battlefield, it was a good thing that I sensed its battle power before attacking it otherwise I would have been in big trouble.
"Leaving so soon!" I had just started to take steps back to leave when Orc suddenly turned and looked directly in my eyes with a cruel smile.

The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash
