《I will Kill the Hero! With Fluff!》Chapter 05 - Bathing in the River

Four gentle hands were stroking my back, my stomach and every other part of my body. They weren't just petting me, at least they hadn't planned on doing so at the beginning. Instead, each of their gentle touches spread water or foamy soap onto my fur. When they were finally done and cleansed me with a large splash of water, my whole body was shaking.
It was the middle of summer and there was no wind to be felt, but I still felt my body freezing. Naturally, I wasn't the least happy about this, especially since I knew that this discomfort came accompanied with the disadvantage of me looking like a drenched rat.
After getting released by the girls, I jumped away and shook my body and my tail like I had seen dogs do it, before fleeing onto the riverbank and shaking myself a little more. The girls laughed at my pitiful attempts of drying myself, but I didn't pay them any heed.
My attention was already focused on the hero. He was much more important than watching those girls playing in the water.
It was easy to find him. He was just a few steps from the river bank, hidden behind a row of thick bushed. It was only when I stepped nearer, that I realized he was busy pleasuring himself.
«This filthy bastard!»
Even though this maybe was a good chance to surprise him, everything inside of me screamed to get as far away as possible. I didn't want to have anything to do with this degenerate! Even a succubus, or a vixen, has her pride! Still, I couldn't just leave him be.
«How can I use this ...»
My gaze wandered towards the hero once again. He was trying his best at hiding while staring at those girls playing and laughing in the water. A mischievous grin appeared at my month, or at least it would have if only this was my old body.

«If only they knew what kind of degenerate peeper he was, they would hate him for sure!»
My tiny legs were already doing their job. They were stalking towards my prey, waiting for the best opportunity to strike.
«This is perfect!»
A series of deafening yelps filled the air. I screamed in the direction of the girls to make sure they heard me, only to turn towards the 'attacker' when I was sure of their attention. Once again, I hurled insults at the hero, I sneered at him and even growled, which, even though I didn't want to accept it, sounded rather pathetic.
The girls seemed to be seasoned adventurers, despite their young age. As soon as they heard the noise, they made themselves combat ready. Two of them, Myra and the girl with the orange hair even started chanting their magic spells.
«Yes! Yes! Burn him! Freeze him to death! Impale him!»
Small magic circles appeared all around the girls. I saw balls of fire surrounding the orange-haired girl, and vivid lights dancing around Myra. The hero naturally saw the same spells being prepared. He rushed out of his hideout while trying his best to stop the girls, pulling up his pants and hiding his manhood, all at the same time.
When he then fell flat on the ground, face first, I hearty laughter, or squeals, echoed over the riverbank. Looking at the hero, I couldn't help but taunt him, laugh a little more and jump happily around his squirming body.
"This is what you get! Pervert! Even Gorn would be a better hero than you!"
⊱————- Two hours later ————-⊰
A certain young man was sitting in front of an oak, staring silently at its bark. His back was facing a group of girls who happily chitchatted while eating lunch and playing with a small, cute fox pup – me.

I sat on the lap of orange-haired girl who had tried to cast the fire magic before. Now, that I had found out her real name, Faisa, and knew how powerful she was, it was only natural that I would try to befriend her. She liked me, just as much as the other girls did, and it was only a matter of time before I could either use her against the hero or for my own gain.
For now, I just savored being pet by her, being fed fresh meat and getting my back scratched. A faint, vibrating noise could be heard from my body, much like the ones cat's would do in such a situation. Naturally, the girls fell in love with 'their' little fox pup once again.
«They deserve a better man ...»

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
