Chapter 3 - The bloodfest

A nearby goblin shark spotted her within the vicinity, unable to contain its own hunger any further. It strives to devour her whole.

She immediately sensed the existence of the goblin shark that is steadily heading her way.

However, unlike a normal goblin shark. She is by far stronger and more intelligent than the ordinary aquatic fish.

By the time that the goblin shark has reached her location, she would have already taken action, by anticipating the goblin shark's movements. Always staying one step ahead of her opponent.

The goblin shark made a straight beeline towards her, like a shark torpedo, it cannot turn but go straight forwards.

As the goblin shark is drawing closer, during the last few minutes, she reacted by swimming out of the goblin shark's line of trajectory, and it missed her.

Whilst going around the starving goblin shark to its side, its own blind spot. Her extendable jawline extended revealing rows sharp jagged teeth.

She then activated her newly acquired skill Venom fangs, as her jagged teeth start to gain a purple tint, secreting out toxic venom.

Since she doesn't actually have an actual functional poison gland within her body. To compensate for this, mana is expended, artificially generating a varied level of different components and substance which made the poison venom.

Her jagged razor-sharp teeths then sink into the pale skin and flesh of the starving goblin shark, injecting it with her newfound venom fangs.

The secreted venom is then injected into the starving goblin shark's flesh and muscles. Slowly, the poison then makes its way through the starving goblin shark's body and enters the bloodstream.

Within seconds, the toxic venom then coagulates and immediately blocks the constant flow of blood around its body. As well the harmful components that made up the venom, starts to attacks the red blood cells inside the starving goblin shark's body.

The starving goblin shark writhes in intense pain and agony, as it's inside and organs are being destroyed by her venom.

Its health points are quickly dropping into the red bars, right before her very eyes.

It did not give up, before violently ramming its body around on the bottom of the sea bed, sending out a flurry of sand, as a last-ditch effort to escape death.

However, she remained strong with her grip. With her jagged teeths sinking deeper into the starving goblin shark's flesh.

The liveness in its greyed eyes vanishes, with its pale skinny body becoming still and quiet.

She then rips a big chunk of flesh out from the dead carcass of the starving goblin shark she killed. The blood of the dead goblin shark then mixed with the ocean's seawater turning it red.

She says the keyword inside her head, immediately her status screen pops up. It then covers the vast majority If her vision.

'I need to hurry!' She exclaimed out in a panic.

'Add all four unallocated points into strength!'

She hurriedly adds all four of her extra unallocated stats points, that she gained from her levelled up, all into her strength stats.

She then presses on the obvious green plus mark, located next to the stats attribute value. All four of her unallocated stats point are spent, as she instinctively felt the slight improvement made to her body with the stats increased.

'I felt a newfound strength growing within me...'

However, her thoughts were suddenly cut short, as a nearby group of goblin sharks spotted her.

One of the starving goblin sharks then rams into her, from the side. They tried tackling her, with their sort of pointy nose head, by ramming into her body.

The ramming attack does minuscule amounts of damage to her, but it sort of flips her body around onto her side, within waters.

This sort of behaviour actually disorientates sharks, as it sort of confuses their visual and magnetic senses.

This sort of feeling really wants to make you hurl up.

'Augh!'

The starving goblin shark's nose head slid across the side of her body, and then over her.

She reacted on instinct, and immediately swam forwards despite her confused state.

She dodges the starving goblin's bite attack after the ramming charge, otherwise, it would have bit into her side, and she would be powerless, just like her first victim.

It didn't take her long to recover from her disorientated state and flip her body around, right side up.

'Now you've gone and done it! Now I'm mad!' She said so having become slightly enraged.

Like a raging eyed bull, the redness with her eyes then intensifies, glowing much brighter. As she swam away and curved her body to turn left or right. She now faces the direction of the group of starving goblin sharks that attack her.

'Now you're dead!' She said so with fury and a strong intent to kill.

Whilst, the first goblin shark failed to deal a lethal attack on her. While it was distracted, with all of its attention focused on her.

The other goblin sharks then turned on against it, biting down on the one that failed the attack made against her.

It's a dog eat dog world out there. Only the strong survive and the weak die off.

The weak become food to feed the strong.
