《Twisted Nerves》Level 18: Oblitus Mori I

I can't find a *cough cough* alternative *cough cough* way to have ProFantasy CC3, so yeah, the map is gonna come out during christmas holidays, either handmade by me or using the guide AmnesicCat talked about in some thread I don't remember.
Elisabeth watched once again the video of Lia fighting her way through the 33 rooms of the cave and her struggle against the dragon. She was greatly impressed by the progress her daughter had made in both the game and martial arts. But the end, where she was seen nude by some NPCs bothered her.
'Seriously, I know it's a game but she should still mind her surroundings.'
The reason she was watching the video again was that she wanted to edit it. She cut the part after Lia entered the first door, when she rested, looted the mobs and also changed Yvonne's face through an application freely distributed by Crathos Inc.
After she was done, she sent the video to Abigail's mother, Sonia, through the email address Lia had given her.
She stretched a little as she stood up, feeling a bit tired from the "work," she went to take a shower before going to sleep. A few hours later she woke up and she began her usual routine, she ate a slice of bread with oil and salt, took a water bottle, her phone and a pair of headphones and went out to jog.
When Elisabeth was done with her run and returned home, she took a quick shower after she confirmed her daughter was already out jogging. Dressed in her usual work clothes, she went downstairs to the kitchen and ate leisurely breakfast since she still had some time before she had to go to work.
At Crathos Inc., there wasn't much to do anymore for the developers like Elisabeth and her team. They spent a couple of hours to check for any bug or glitch in the system with the help of Yuki, the main AI of Hyria, and then checked the overall progress of the users in regards to the game's story.

Before returning home, Elisabeth wrote a report based on the data they had recorded that day, and gave it to Jack, the supervisor of all the dev teams.
As it was now nearing lunch time, Elisabeth decided to wake Lia up from the capsule so they could eat together. During lunch the two talked about various things, and then Lia asked
"When are you coming to Crassie?"
"Today, in-game time. Is it okay with both of you if we go hunting where I want?"
Elisabeth replied as she took the plates and started cleaning them in the kitchen sink. Lia helped by swiping the floor and cleaning the table, saying "Yeah" to her mother's question.
Opening her eyes, Elisabeth found herself to be in the council room of Æsir. Various members of her guild, players and NPCs, greeted her as she passed, but she remained indifferent as she was busy discussing with the chiefs of the divisions of her guild through the group chat. Before leaving Elisabeth had to visit a couple of places, the armory and the testing room. She wanted to finish those boring matters as quickly as possible to be able to meet Aisha and Matagi.
By the time she reached the teleportation room, an hour and a half had passed. Setting the destination to Crassie, she and Kaine stepped inside the portal.
In front of the two were Lia and Abigail sitting on the border of the fountain. Noticing them, Aisha and Matagi stood up and went to greet them.
"Hi mom"
"Hello, mrs. Ash.."
Matagi slightly bowed and was about to greet Elisabeth using her real name before she cut herself off after she noticed Kaine. Elisabeth answered quickly to not let the conversation become awkward
"Here I go by the name Bathory, and this is Kaine, he'll take care of the different traps we'll encounter."

Bathory motioned toward Kaine when she talked about him. He was a really difficult guy to spot, even though he was entirely covered in black clothes and his face barely showed. Compared to him, Bathory was a bit taller, nearing 185/190 cm, had corvine black hair and bloodshot red eyes. Her attire was a white light armor with black and purple trims all over, she kept her weapon, a big cleaver sword, strapped on her back.
After the greetings, they added each others as friends and started a private group chat. They discussed of where they will be going, what to do and more or less what to expect. Not that there would be any problem, as Bathory was level 304 and Kaine was level 257. After a player or NPC hits level 200, the system will stop showing their level to others, so Bathory had to tell it to the two directly.
The four briefly talked about their races and classes, Bathory was a Pure-blooded Vampire and with the Cursed Paladin class, the "demonic" version of a paladin, and while Kaine was just a human, he had two classes, Dhy?na Monk and Thief. When it was Aisha's turn to talk about her race and class, Matagi and Kaine were surprised but Bathory already knew about it.
"Why is it that you can stand under the sun and nothing's happening to you?"
At some point Matagi's curiosity leaked through their discussion. Bathory grinned before replying
"It's thanks to a skill, but even if I didn't have it, my health regeneration is higher than the damage the sun can deal me."
After they were done, the four walked to the nearest church and payed the fee for teleporting. Bathory set the destination to Tihghul, a little queendom situated in the eastern part of the continent.

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
